^ Most, I know of at least one private primary school that has next week off here in Brisbane.

Shanks shallot
Hadn't seen that posted before so assumed it didn't exist.
I'd hope VRTP put @docoaster on plane and seat him on the first public ride!

Will there be a pure POV simulation made available?
Be nice to see the ride without the constant camera angle changes.

The Norwell location is flood prone and mostly acid sulfate soils.
In 1999, my year 12 class did a large project on the proposed 4 runway international airport for the same location.
They where talking of raising the ground 4 metres to get above the flood height. I don't remember their plan for the soil problem.

Perhaps a drone shot or photo from the crane, from where the top of the will be looking out over the park would help?

Thanks @jack.c.
Didn't get to see the clip. No idea why someone down voted you for that.

Would depend on the individual layout I would expect.
Each peak needs to be lower than the previous one of course, but losses due to wheel friction and air resistance need to be factored in too. If there was say 300m (to exaggerate) between peaks, you'd have much greater losses of energy than with 30m between peaks.

Clearly station works.

Channel 7 Sydney had coverage of the hypercoaster and played footage of @docoaster's render 😆
How do the two compare, was he close?

I found the use of two female characters a bigger thing to read into than the colour.
As above, if we don't hear much soon you'd expect it not to be WW themed.

Awesome thread and awesome responses.

Stopped by early this morning on our way south.
Wow!
And it's not even half built yet. The interlocking loop part is mind boggling.

Apology accepted (about the voice)

^ I've stalked this site for many years and wasn't aware of @Slick background, and nor is it any of our business. But his opinion is one I value around here.
I'm working on the assumption that the gif isn't directed at myself, as I was just putting out my opinion, not stating fact.

When do they need to sell VIP annual pass renewals from? My thought is that is what they are waiting on. Even then we may not get a theme.
Interstate visitors are either coming or not, one new ride probably won't sway the GP. You have to look at it from their perspective, not an enthusiasts one.
Also the later, the less referral to the Dreamworld tragedy by the media.

But they have acknowledged it. they've given quotes to media articles, they've made pre-announcement announcements about the impending announcement.
They haven't ANNOUNCED it, but that doesn't mean they haven't ACKNOWLEDGED it.
Sounds like an episode of yes minister or utopia.

Young Einstein.
Wow, that's totally pulled out of somewhere uncomfortable (the back seat of a Volkswagen perhaps?)
-
We've managed 147 pages about the coaster they won't acknowledge even exists (more if you factor in all the stuff that's been removed).
This thread just demonstrates the frustration levels.

Domestic? You cheap bastard.
You'd think if anything it would be a round or two of flat seaworld beer.

Cause its an unreliable heap of an abomination of a machine.
Never intended for a train of that size from what I have heard.

My boy is on his last week now, but genisus at Warner started a week later, so still has next week to go. My colleague is sending her kids off to Sydney for a week.
