I never said they couldn't make use of the land I'm telling you your solutions of damming the water out and making it somebody else's problem is incorrect.
Sadly it hasn't stopped them up my way, a housing estate built up 2 metres in a flood basin. Glad I don't live in that area as the roads will go well under.

Stupid quote box bug
I'd expect after Christmas as well. You wouldn't start a job like that at this time of year, to only have staffing issues etc.
Easter is mid April in 2017, so perhaps do most of the work in between the two.
The tender having closed in late October also points to a January start in my opinion.

"our skeet" sounded a bit creepy

Skeet shooting with a prize . (not that skeet btw)

Th13teen has/had a staffed locker room, you got a wristband from memory .

My thought is that it will physically remain until the completion of the inquest, as sites visits can occur in the process.
After that, clear it and move forward. I don't expect another water ride to go back in its place.
As theme park fans, we should keep on dreamworld about the cottage and it's preservation though.

Other thread, decommissioned was the word used by the CEO in a quote from a release .

My boss has passes for his whole family, said they'll be taking the refund option. Like many, they are a bit too shaken by this.

^LOL it just scrapes in, though with a drop of 190.3 feet I'm appealing for a disqualication, but it might start sinking like Magnum (now there's an old chestnut coaster myth) and drop under 200 feet.
If they're building something like this I hope they build it bigger and perhaps with even more to it. Though Lewa Adventure's one looks pretty damn good in it's own right, will have to see if there's any reviews of it anywhere.
There is one of sorts in a thread about the park on TPR

Can't loose the quote boxes!
@Theme Park Girl. I'd call the station handling it or Policelink .
@bladex. What that and many other articles fail to mention is that the air compressors where deemed not to need certification by the department upon review.

My little girl inadvertently saw this on the news, I try my hardest to keep her from watching the news, and now she is on the verandah blowing kisses toward Dreamworld. "Is God sad Daddy?"
I don't cry very much at all. I just held her and let the tears fall.
We are leaving the TV off for the night.

I think you'll have to wait till possibly after White Christmas before an announcement.

Be hilarious if the guy turned out to be right in the end.

A second station would still impact operations if it was on a different regime. Perhaps in 3 train operation the impact would be manageable.
djrappa knows what's going on, his hints have been impressively subtle enough that no one has worked it out yet.

Great find!
Anyone know if that massive cement square was for a support pole or the loading station?
Looking at Google Maps it supports the first right hand turn after the initial drop and part of the 360 ish degree turn on the way back to the station. There is another smaller one where the track turns back at its furthest point.

I'd assume the footings will be oversized due to the poor soil for one.

What about the glasses?
Leave them in the car. Only need them for distance and they are not that powerful. I can see enough to drive during the daylight without them in an emergency.
Don't want to have to carry cleaners (they are frameless ones). The stunt show is more bearable without them

You do know you can wear glasses on Scooby ?
No I didn't.
I refuse to pay for a locker though. My car key, license and credit card go in my shoe under my foot for Superman

There is more causes for an epileptic event than just flashing lights. A bump or knock to the head can do it for some people.

Maybe they got confused and where thinking of AA load times

I would say this was the most likely scenario.
Some times the simple things get over thought.

It's not just as simple as a roll back system test?

I think he means the notch made above to allow it to fit.

Is it for lifting the pod out?

Perhaps an emergency release button in addition to the interlocking, for the fire scenario.
