Cool drumming over the animated star field and then the wooden/stone section closes in.  Simple, but effective.

@ABYSS It was intense drumming and phrases like, Join the journey, something about drums and then it said our new world class ride coming in September.

Interesting. Thanks for letting me know guys. Hopefully it'll be back up soon, I'm sure it wasn't meant to just be a "leak". Also for anyone who can't access the TT story from the video supplied, or would just like to read the whole story instead, it can be found via this link: https://thewest.com.au/news/wa/new-attraction-swings-into-adventure-world-ng-b88540070z

Abyss gate moved. And judging by the comparison to abyss, the ride 'base', not the swing, looks around 20-25m tall

Andrew Sherry (CEO), I'm pretty sure said the tower was 15m. Also the Abyss gate was moved so it wouldn't be damaged from construction we believe. Also @Tim Dasco the other places were Slovakia, Liptonstine* (Definetly spelt that wrong, never heard of the place) and the Phillipines- Guessing from the same place that Abyss theming was made from Phillipines.

  3. My mate just said he drove past AW and the billboard that is at the back of the park (On the hill where the Kraken is) has been changed to advertise mi3. He hasn't gotten any photos and said he didn't know how to explain the billboard so if anyone passes by AW and has a look let us know what it is! :) (Ps. If this is incorrect information, I'm sorry I believe the person who told me about it)

Firstly, if the timeline for it to open in September is correct - then we're talking first promo with two months to go.

Do you guys think we will be hearing anything about the theming or name of the ride on Monday night via Today Tonight? I personally don't think so due to passed experiences with AW's MI's, but things could have changed because we have already seen a difference in marketing for mi3 this year.

On the note of staff having a field day, or off season, or whatever theyre doing that is wrong

I agree as every off season they usually still post promotional stuff. The only other explanation for this being true is maybe if there has been a change up in the social media marketers team for AW, or as for posting about mi3 as @Aw hype suggested, maybe they are waiting for something specificly to be finished with mi3 before indeed posting.

@ABYSS Well creative works one upped you. They posted this photo. Pay attention to the big steel beam on the floor that is orange. Never mind it looks like the cover for the Rampage carriage. Also you can see the Abyss gateway has been moved.

Been keeping a closeness eye on Creative Works' FB page and today I hadn't, my luck lately ahaha. Anyways, I went passed but I couldn't really see anything as there were too many cars behind me so I couldn't take my time. As for AW Hype, when we sore NearMap images of AW it looked like where the Castle used to be there was still flat ground and it hadn't been covered with grass. Maybe this could be were a potential mi4 could be or maybe it just was kept that way for a particular reason or so a new castle could be built there in the future.

Um the pole structure has been completed and we can see that it will swing the other way from the Rampage across to black widow. I personally think that the cutting edge feature that will enhance the ride experience is the Lap bars like Loke. As that will really make the ride experience different from most of the other insulations IE claw.

That should have been your first clue. The gap that the gondola swings through will always be narrower than the side it doesn't. Wider spacing is in the direction of travel, to better brace against the forces of the ride - kind of how if I hit you with an exercise ball whilst your feet are planted side by side, you're more likely to fall over, whereas if you're standing with your legs widely splayed to the side, a hit from the side would see you remain standing.

    Like this:

Notice that the 'wider spacing' is the side not travelled through, to provide better bracing in the direction of travel...

Okay, I see. I'm just an uneducated speculator and I actually didn't know that. That makes sense. Thanks for letting me know. Now I just feel dumb. If I would have looked up at the pictures I would have seen that I was wrong. Anyways I'm just to hyped to ride this monster. :P

Extremely stupid concept but imagine if the 'unique' feature was there being 2 swings? Seems highly unlikely from sources provided but just speculation

Not exactly as stupid of an idea as you may think. Looking back a couple of pages to where NearMap images were supplied, we can see that the support gaps have a wider gap facing towards the Abyss, maybe my theory may actually be correct, maybe we are going to see mi3 swing over Abyss. You can see that the wider part supports my idea (where there are red lines have a wider support structure space), I'm pretty sure the narrow part wouldn't be the direction in which it would swing. Also if it were to swing in the direction of the black widow and the opposite end toward the lagoon, it would swing very close to the rampage's queue's roof. I'm sorry if this all sounds confusing. 9. Mark did say that mi3 will have a cutting edge feature that will make it different to the other installations. I have an idea as to what this could be. Loke at Liseberg swings over its neighbouring rides, see where I'm going here? Abyss. What if mi3's ginormous swing attacks Abyss to the point where you feel as though the two are going to collide and you are going to be crushed. However I don't know if this would be possible. The more logical way that the ride would be positioned would be to swing along ways against the Abyss instead of interfering with it. Would there be enough space? Would this idea interfere with the SkyLift? You guys tell me what you think about this idea.

  10. Just to start off, I know how bad the quality is in this photo. I was driving passed AW yesterday and I pulled out my phone to take some photos (iPhone 5s so obviously not going to be the best of quality also as I was moving due to being in a vehicle). There are these objects and I was wondering if anyone else got any photos of them because they would help out as these photos are really bad quality (Maybe iwerks as you got some photos yesterday). Anyways, I know it's hard to see but the first thing just looks like a big kahuna (Tiki) bin and than I don't know what the next objects are. They are circular and I'm not sure if they have anything to do with mi3. Here is the photo:
