Nah wasn't Kev Dan, I was with scream when we saw him - looks like he as some sort of crush on the game attendants! He has sorta deformed teeth, and is there every time I go (but he doesn't ride the rides at all).

Richard and I were the only ones wearing them, I hope he gets some more sales The day was so great, was a little dissapointed with those that said they will come but didn't. Regardless, it was certainly a day to remember. Bounty Girl was the funniest thing I've ever seen at Wonderland in a long long time.. I'll leave the explaining for someone who's legal to do so though. Everyone was as nice as I expected them to be, DJ Rappa had to be the hilarious comedian of the day The conversations we all had were really interesting. It was sort of a fun blend of coasters & girls (and the odd light discussions between Clint and I ). The random appearances of Bounty Girl has us on the floor everytime. The lunch was absolutely delicious (I don't know what everyone else thought about it). Barbequed chicken, steak, potatoes etc were really nice! We all received a small souvenir, which was a key ring of Wonderland (around the value of $6 or $7). Thanks to everyone who came! Liam

Just a quick reminder for everyone - rain is predicted for tomorrow, so bring all neccassary wet weather clothing. The meet is going ahead rain, hail or shine, so please make the effort to come even if your backyard is flooding! I'm just about to hop in the shower to go to Wonderland for the night with Richard & Joz. It's pouring here, so I rang up to see if they will still be open. Thankfully, it will be open unless a storm comes along. However, I still have a gut feeling that the dredded "go away" lady will be at the top of the stairs again! *EDIT* I just came back from a great night at Wonderland with Richard & Joz. Despite the dreadful weather, we managed to get a few rides on all of the attractions there in a matter of hours. Yeah it is getting busier, don't know about weekdays though. It's not crowds that summer's a few years back used to get, but it's much more than they were currently getting prior the announcement of closing down.

I have a couple of times after the announcement of the park's closure. Due to low staff, ride rotations are the norm for each and every day. However, the rides that are being rotated will be only closed for a few hours - thus leaving the rides that were open in the morning closed in the afternoon. I've got no problem with this, it's actually quite a sensible way for Wonderland to handle staff shortages (thank god we're staying the whole day at the meet, wouldn't want people to leave Wonderland for the last time without getting probed ) Liam

Deals have been arranged for our lunch at the Outback Restaraunt. The general manager of Wonderland has offered me the following discounts.. 1. Barbeque Buffet for $12.50 (normally $17.50) 2. 10% off A La Carte menu (excluding beverages) Liam

I think it's near Druitt, or Toongabbie Lunch for the meet will be held at the Outback Restaraunt instead of having a spit-filled cheeseburger and some soggy hot chips. I'm trying to get some deals organised for our meal, which I will be notified of tomorrow afternoon. Liam

^ LOL! I was there 30 minutes ago mate, and I can tell you that all the rides are open. However, Dragon's Flight & Tasmanian Devil are closed (and will be forever it seems). Regarding the jobs, it isn't as easy to get a job as you think it is. It has been said in a newspaper down south that Luna Park is currently offering jobs to Wonderland's employees. Liam

That's odd, I thought TTD & Xcel close when it rains due to the higher chance of rollbacks. I guess not!

I have just receieved an email Wonderland's management notifying me that they will organise some special deals for our meet. If 20 or more people attend, the ticket price for adults will slash down to $39.95. A Wonderland souvenir will also be given to all attendees. Liam

The meeting place will be just outside the main plaza right after the ticket booths at 9:45am. The day will continue right through to 5pm. I'm amazed at how many people are coming, good on ya guys! Liam

Sunday, March 7th The official day of the meet will be March 7th, but Joz and I will be attending on both days of the weekend - so feel free to come along on both days also. ^ I'd say it's pretty darn official, since the parks CEO Steven Gailbraith stated that the park would close (along with a bunch of employees). Also, you wouldn't have to drive 14 hours to go to a theme park - Luna Park is opening on April 2nd!

The story was just on Ten news as breaking news. Sandra (stuff-up) Sully stated practically everything that was discussed here, and that the CEO couldn't find a way out of the financial rut. As soon as I saw that, it really did sink in. Liam

Richard and I have just been discussing the possibility of having a Total Thrills meet up to say farewell to Wonderland. The date would obviously be sometime before Easter, on a weekend. Since flights are so darn cheap these days, I'm hoping our QLD and Victorian members can make it too. Would anyone be interested in this meetup? Liam

I'm quite disturbed by the fact that companies are only interested in the land. Surely Sunway would have made some attempt to sell the park? Who wouldn't have loved a "Six Flags Sydney"? Liam

I'm just in total shock that the news is confirmed. It's gone. I got so damn attached to the park I didn't even realise it until now. This was the action of Sunway, no wonder they weren't investing in the place. I guess all I can do now is go there as much as possible and soak in the good times.. Dude, it feels like someone has died or something.. Liam

Hi guys, A former staff member of Wonderland has just informed me that all staff had a meeting today. Upper management informed them that Wonderland will be closing down sometime in March. It does make sense, since many people have stated earlier that Wonderland would be closing down in March. However, this is a rumour - so lets hope this isn't true. Liam
