  1. So that's alot of stuff they're up to.
  2. Isn't that game extremely buggy? I built a massive theme park in Sandbox mode and opened it. It was elaborately themed and awesome and then the game crashed five minutes after the park opened. Everytime I load the game it crashes at the same part.
  3. I remember when this ride opened for some reason I thought it was a temporary thing like the Harry Potter tour. Later I found out that it wasn't temporary and it was also one of the best rides in Australia. It's interesting to see it being built.
  4. I had to vote no in the poll. That's because it's pretty much impossible to build a ride like that with the stuff that comes with the game.
  5. What types of rides are you into? If you're into innovative, themed rides then parks like Disneyland, California Adventure, and Universal Studios is definately worth going to. Knott's Berry Farm and Six Flags: Magic Mountain have there fair amount of coasters, but I'd prefer Disneyland, California Adventure and Universal Studios. They also have Sea World in San Diego. I think it has some rides as well, but I'm not sure how different it is from the one on the Gold Coast.
  6. Aren't they even building a new theme park in Hong Kong?
  7. From what I've seen the only thing holding Movie World back is the amount of rides and attractions. But that sounds like it's changing with Superman. I wonder if they are going to replace the Special FX show with something like the new one at Universal Studios Hollywood.
  8. They're doing massive stuff to Space Mountain like adding new effects and etc that will make it a totally new and up-to-date ride. Like others said they are also adding Buzz Lightyear in Tomorrowland. Right now the park is preparing for their 50th Anniversary.
  9. Disneyland and California Adventure are right next door to each other. There both worth visiting and you can buy park hopper tickets that give you access to both the parks at the same time. When we were there we got three day park hopper tickets. We were going to spend three days at those parks initially but ended up staying five days there. That was on the off-season when lots of the rides were down for refurbishment as well. There's plenty to do. Especially if you've got a hotel nearby. Universal Studios is also definately worth visiting. They've just opened Revenge of the Mummy as well. If you like Coasters you should definately go to Six Flags: Magic Mountain, but I prefer themed rides more.
  10. Rides like Splash Mountain and Star Tours at Disney have great stories. It's awesome to have a story attached to the attraction, but it's not neccessary. Rides like Soarin' Over California don't have stories but still have the Disney 'feel'. I've never been to Movie World, so I can't really comment on that, but from what I've heard about the attractions it's the next best thing to a Disney themed attraction. Would you say it's up to Universal Studios standards?
  11. I use to like Dreamworld alot but after going to the U.S. and seeing actual themed parks and rides, it feels like it's missing something. I haven't been to Warner Bros. Movie World yet, but it looks like it definately fits the criteria of what I love about theme parks. With Superman I think Movie World is definately going to be the better park depending on what you want from a theme park.
  12. Hey, Clairey... if you're still around I'm interested in seeing some more pictures. I've never been to Warner Bros. Movie World (which is strange considering that I live in Brisbane and have been to Disneyland, California Adventure, Knott's Berry Farm, Six Flags: Magic Mountain, and Universal Studios.) because I didn't know much about it and there didn't appear to be very many rides initially. Now after they've opened Scooby I think there's more then enough justification for me to go. I think I'll wait until Superman opens in September, though. Innovative, themed rides are my favourite kind and I also like thrill rides. Also after going to the U.S. I really appreciate themed parks and Movie World looks awesome. I'm looking forward to hearing more about the park before I go for my first time.
