It would be unusual for a brand to commit to infrastructure costs on a property they do not own as if the contract was terminated, they would have to walk away from the funds invested...
Interestingly, Apple does contribute to infrastructure costs of their third-party 'Premium Reseller' network. Agree that this is a highly unusual occurrence.

The NFC idea is good (and I am a fan of it at Wet'n'Wild Sydney) but I would prefer a movable locker over it.
What about a movable NFC locker... We have the technology!!

Front or back of station, like Arkham...

@Santa07 The other guide's name was Scott - I'd forgotten Matthew's name, haha. Agree, the tour was definitely worth the price and I had a great time - I'd love to do it again!
We were lucky enough to have Lynn from the Studios on our tour, she had a stack of tidbits about the studios, which were fascinating to hear about!

^ He's talking about Maze Presenters & Performers, not the event being age restricted.

Might all be one parent company, but from what i've heard from a friend at the film school they are all separate entities now. Would not at all be surprised if movie world actually had to pay for studio time to utilise the sound stages for fright nights. It's more like pushing numbers around on paper, but I don't think the park and studios are mutually exclusive anymore. Looks more like the studios are leased, with the production companies basically having the run and control of the site, who they contract in for work, having their own management, budgets, etc.
Separate entities != separate lots of land...

^ I'd get the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka rather than drive. You can also make a stop at Nagoya on the way and visit Nagashima Spa Land to get your Steel Dragon 2000 credit!

How about they just put it in whilst SE is down for maintenance? From memory, AA is usually accessed via Chinatown Alley whilst SE is under maintenance, so there would be no disruption to access whilst trading.

@SlickAs of about a month ago, White Cyclone is back to her old horrible, vibrating self

Nope, your definitely not the only one. Seeing as that seems to be their bread and butter it would be a logical assumption - it doesn't make sense that they would move into IP based parks over here.

@djrappa What about the new(ish) El-Loco at Circus Circus? It looks to be pretty decent.

I'd love to see an Intamin Mega-Lite - they are just slightly taller than Corkscrew (28m vs 31m), so is within the realm of possibility of being within Sea Worlds height limit. They are super thrilling (I'd easily rate them in my top 10) whilst not looking particularly intimidating to bystanders. If it can be worked to fit around the monorail, I think there is enough space just on the south end of the Corkscrew plot to fit one in...

Earlier this year, riders were left hanging upside down on the Green Lantern at Sea World’s sister park Movie World.

Have you seen Tokyo DisneySea?
This needs to be repeated. TDS is amazing and surpass the quality of anything in the States by a county mile.

It's also only a long weekend for people who work in the Brisbane CBD, if you work outside the exclusion zone, you still have to work!
Friday is a public holiday for everyone that works in the Brisbane City Council area, not just the CBD exclusion zone. As it is a public holiday, many workplaces (especially retail) will still be open and staff may be required to work.

I was there last night too (although not with Terror Tour - boo - will definitely be doing it next year!) and agree, she was probably the creepiest character of the night - went through Ripper twice and only saw her playing dead the second time, so certainly not just being lazy!

Generally speaking, laser based barcode scanners have issues scanning smart phone screens, CCD based barcode scanners are much better at scanning barcodes on smart phone screens.

Its a bit weird seeing the IP.Board Nav & Parkz Nav on top of each other, are there any plans to merge/integrate the two?

It's 'just' a peppers ghost effect. Definitely one of the best executed examples of peppers ghost I've seen!
