  1. I believe the app is now available outside of Japan, so everyone can use the app to redeem fast passes now (well, everyone that can get to Tokyo Disney ).
  2. I think you mean $12 for every Australian. $1 mil from every single Australian is $25 billion .
  3. Their Credit List page (http://www.johncox.net/showcase/credit-list/) lists the Scooby Doo Ride credit as 2003, so this must be from when the ride was originally built and not recent work:
  4. The Facebook page states: My interpretation of this statement would be that the ride does not meet modern fire safety requirements (e.g. the required number of emergency exits etc), not that the mountain is not fire safe. I'm sure that if the mountain was not fire safe, it would have come down as soon as Dreamworld became aware of this.
  5. @JeffreyMoore Not sure if I've missed something, but I can't say I've seen anything from Dreamworld stating that the mountain was coming down because it's not fire safe. Are you able to point me to where this was stated?
  6. @Reanimated35 I think I might have been on the same train as your first ride!
  7. Seeing as this map is missing Rivals, I'd say it's a pretty safe bet that it is just a place holder.
  8. @MaxxTheMonster Yep I had issues - I had to call and they were able to manually redeem over the phone straight away
  9. @djrappa I've been asked if I did have a Fight Nights admission ticket, but never been asked to produce evidence... Is there potentially a report that is run before each to match up UTT tickets to admission tickets/redemptions purchased by the same person?
  10. According to the rumour mill, the new Spiderman/Avengers area is going to take over Hollywoodland and potentially Bugs Land too.
  11. I still cant see it (I must be getting old...) but I'll definitely take your word for it!
  12. Looks more like Top Golf construction to me?
  13. Interesting, looks like a Non-Inverting Loop wasn't always planned...
  14. I can highly recommend https://ridemax.com to help plan out your day at Disney - you tell it the day you are going and the attractions you want to visit, and it builds a customised plan to get you the (predicted) shortest waits possible. The app ended up overestimating most of the wait times when we were there, so we got in a couple more rides than we planned.
  15. Like they put in for the finale on Bermuda instead of the fire...
  16. @MickeyD I have no idea on the costs of Co2 based smoke effects - obviously costs will be a factor, but I don't think smoke effects can simply be ruled out - going on previous history (I'm looking at you Superman), maybe MW will install smoke effects again, then turn them off when they get too expensive to run/maintain . I think the projection mapping effects you describe sound like the ending that this ride deserves - add a blast of smoke as you come out the doors and that would just be the cherry on the cake! @Reanimated35 My bad, I saw my tag in the quote and my brain interpreted that as your comment being directed at me .
  17. @Theme Park Girl Wasn't the rumoured cause of the fire one of the spark machines (not smoke machines) they had running up the lift hill? There is no naked flame or spark generated by smoke machines (unless something goes really wrong, I had a cheap Chinese machine catch fire on me once), and there are alternative methods of generating 'smoke' - for example, the new effect used on Big Thunder Mountain at Disney parks is Co2 based, there is absolutely no heat involved using this style of smoke effect. In my opinion, you can't just completely rule out a smoke effect because there was a fire on the ride a long time ago... @Reanimated35 I've been around here a long time, so I'm very aware of what happened to the ride in the past. I wasn't questioning what happened, I was questioning why a smoke effect could just be ruled out.
  18. @Troy81 I did the VIP tour earlier this year and really enjoyed the studio tour, but like @ash.1111 says, its probably a do it once thing for me. It is the only way to get unlimited express passes - all other express passes only allow one use per ride, so if multiple re-rides is important then its definitely worth the price.
