Recieved 2 photos today of Rainbow from a friend, and its good to see that O'Neills fixed the light pole ( it wasnt snapped, as the poles are removeable, it was just the day I was there in 2004, the light fell out of the flowers, so they took it out. The rays on the face have been re-painted, with 1 ropelight on each ray (Wittingslow had it much nicer with the swirls of ropelights on each ray). It does look as if they have repainted the booms nice and white again, bad to see they have painted the sides of the Hub, purple! YUK! Shame to hear about Zipper Neb, at rye it was giving insane, long rides. Like I mentioned, we flipped over about 10 times in a row, it was THAT intense! still my second fave ride. Shame about the rain, it looks as if this weekend is going to be nice... aww well Hope you get your photos put on CD neb, would love to see them. Chris

nice one... news that energy storm and megamix have been down a bit during the 3 days, but i hear energy is doin much better, not sure bout megamix tho, as it had quite a few problems at sydney 2004..... no news bout claw though, should be doing fine chris

well if your friend has a weak stomach, dont make them ride, they will hate it, its pretty intense, especially for your first ride

in just an edit. the Ranger has turned up, and is located where the merry go round was last year.... (pointing towards the wave swinger, not towards the ferris wheel) chris

The Turbo, made by Chance (maker of the Zipper) should be back this year! the new owners BELLS AMUSEMENTS (owner of Music Trip) bought it last year, and are refurbishing it..... chris

I hope you get on Zipper this year Neb, all I can say is, don't think you know what its going to be like, cos its nothing like it hehe. Also try the Twin Flip, looks like a nicer version to the Energy Storm. As with Ranger, the main reason it might not have gone this year is due to Moomba, being last week. 2005 Moomba fest didnt see O'Neills waveswinger, that was up at Sydney, so yeah.... cos the two shows were soo close this year, thats a main factor of its absence. chris

That is the ROLLERGHOSTER, it debuted (correct me anyone if im wrong) at Moomba in 2002, and came from the UK. It has the best artwork ive ever seen, but not sure about inside. At moomba on the weekend, I rode a one story one, in 3d, was a hilarious ride, and the carnies were crack ups! the RollerGhoster is located next to the Taipan this year at the show, same as 2004 chris

Well I doubt that will be going up, but hey, you never know, I didn't ride it, nor do I want to, but the re-theme is pretty cool chris
