I'm not talking about a launch coaster. I'm talking about the good 'ole coasters that consit of chainlifts, massive drops, heart stopping corners/banks & mind blowing-ly long!! It wouldn't have to be a wooden coaster, even though I majorly want it to be one. It could just be a coaster like California Screamin' in Disney, USA. One that it themed to LOOK like a woodie. I'm not sure if anyone's noticed, but most (basically all) of Australia's coaster are NOT worth the wait [apart SE]. I think DW should show WVTP what a coaster is. Not ALL coasters consit of inversions/loops/launch's etc.

I mean a proper big coaster, something major (not like superman). I'm talking about the good 'ole chain lift coaster with massive drops, heart breaking turns & a ride worth the line up.

I continue to think where have the good 'ole coasters gone these days, We're all into this going upside down craze! If Dreamworld does add a new coaster, I'd like to be a woodie (of course) and just nice and simple. Like sure, I love going upside down. But I feel parks need a rollercoaster that doesn't go upside down. And if it was a woodie, I'd love it too be very long.

No they're not. Infact, In some cases they can & are more popular than steel.

I'm sure they'd have to have some sort of plan/idea. I'd love to see it demolished & a woodie go in (refer to other thread).

Sounds interesting. Wish I went. I'd like to see Dreamworld maybe do one of these, they sound cool. What was the 'Haunt Zone'? And wasn't Lethal Weapon open? 'Cause you failed to mention that you went on it.

Sorry to bring back an old (sorta) topic. But what is happening to Blue Lagoon area, And is BB07 happening? If not, what will happen to the house/studio areas?

Very correct Swanny, With today's technology... There's sure to be something they could do to make it an Australian First or even World.

It could still be a record breaking, something like 'Longest in the world' or something? Also, it could be a looping woodie (then it'd be aussie first).

I've ridden all the roller coaster (wooden) at WL. However, I don't think you can really make a pre-judgement about wooden coasters with these two as they were quite lame compared to the more modern woodies. Also, How would it not fit into Dreamworld? It'd fit right in with Goldrush/Rocky Hollow. Dreamworld needs another world/Australian first, And I'd love to see this be it. Dreamworld needs something new in Rocky Hollow or Goldrush, Not Ocean Parade. I, Personally feel (and have for years) that there are to many people in the Ocean Parade/Wiggles World/Nick Central area and they need to be given a reason to go to Rocky Hollow/Goldrush. Seeming as Rocky Hollow only consumes of the Log ride and Giant Drop.

Not sure if anyone knows. But Sunrise Weather was at Wet N Wild today checking out the Tornado. While there, they interviewed some guy who said Batwing Space Shot WILL open 26/12/06

Talking about next year's Halloween night, The que's may be alittle less big cause of BatWing.

This will be a great addition for Seaworld, It'll definity give a world class view of the Gold Coast, Seaworld etc.

Do you (personally) feel WWW will increase tourism to Gold Coast/QLD? And, Will the opening of WWW cause DW to have low ticket sales (not that it'd matter)?

I'll stick with my idea of the wooden coaster, Biggest in Australia or the World. Would fit in nicely with Rocky Hollow/Gold Rush. Name: Gold Diggers's Adventure.

Ethier they, I'd love to see more flat/thrill rides being introduced. I feel Movie World has enough coasters to last them 2 years or so?

I have the video, It's good. However like T-Bone said, It's out of date. I feel all themeparks should release one of these history videos every 20 years or when they shut down.

Do you think it will be themed along with LW?

Oh okay. Well that'd be cool. Show videos etc of the park. Does anyone know did WonderLand release a video of its history like Luna Park has? I think they should have. It'd be great!

I firmly agree with that. Even though I love the colour scheme for WWW, I think there is a point where the brightness could be overdone. I think if they continue, they will over do it. I guess we wait and see what happens when all the themeing is done!
