From personal experience, we ordered a new mustang gt and a Toyota prado, mustang was a 9 month wait list, prado 6 month. Was told all due to covid, and chip shortages. Hence why the second market has gone crazy.1 point

Always exceptions to the rule and with the wide variety of manufacturers the timeframes change. Additionally, the cars are assembled in global plants so there is a chance you took over someone's spot as they cancelled or your car had a higher value/returns for the manufacturer. I work in the motor insurance industry and we have close relationships with the major manufacturers in Australia so this info is accurate.1 point

One could argue that when talking safety, DW would have more risk associated than WWW in this weather. the reality would be WWW would be scarcely visited on a day like today so operationally it makes no sense to have it open as it would likely be running at a loss. when you mention safety as a reason, it calls into question why the main park is safe to operate. “Due to inclement weather” was all that is needed1 point
