  4. Australia's Favourite Theme Park is Going Wild The secret is out! Dreamworld is home to the most diverse wildlife offering in Australia and these school holidays, the park’s hidden gem is set to take centre stage. Wild World provides guests with additional wildlife shows and experiences that complement the extraordinary animal encounters already on offer at Tiger Island and Australian Wildlife Experience. If you’re feeling really wild, get your paws and claws on the hottest ticket in town. ----------------- Get Connected With The Crew From ‘Totally Wild’ Meet Ranger Stacey and her friends from Totally Wild as they join Dreamworld’s wildlife experts for interactive presentations at the Australian Wildlife Experience at 12.30pm and 1.30pm daily. The Australian Wildlife Experience is home to 65 koalas, (the second largest captive koala colony in the world), 21 kangaroos, 2 Tasmanian devils, 10 wombats, 3 dingoes, 2 emus, 2 cassowaries, 2 pademelons, 6 squirrel gliders, 14 feathertail gliders, 2 ringtail possums, a Rufous Bettong and Goldie our Wedge tailed eagle. These cute guys share their home with over 31 snakes, 11 saltwater crocs, 5 freshwater crocs, 34 lizards, 21 turtles and 29 Farmyard Friends. Meet our cuddly koalas at 11.30am, slither across to the snake encounter at 12.30pm and then get ready for a mystery marsupial at 2.00pm. ------------------- Dreamworld Chief Executive Officer Stephen Gregg said Dreamworld has “taken great care to balance our wildlife display with a conservation, research and education program, developed in close cooperation with government, industry and educational institutions.” The park spends hundreds of thousands of dollars every year working closely with wildlife organisations and proudly participates in international and national breeding programs to help save our endangered species. Dreamworld has donated over $500,000 to saving tigers, is a Gold Sponsor of The Australian Koala Foundation and the Save the Bilby Fund and works closely with the RSPCA, the Animal Welfare League and a whole host of wildlife foundations in Australia and around the world. -------------------------- Meet rare white and gold Bengal tigers and see what they get up to in the wild at our breathtaking Tiger Presentations at 12 midday and 3.30pm daily at Tiger Island. Then come within a whisker of one of nature’s most elusive creatures and meet Inca and Sierra at the daily Cougar Presentation at 4.15pm. --------------------------- Meet Dreamworld’s fresh water crocs or head down to Kakadu Wetlands and grab a bite to eat with Goliath, one of the biggest saltwater crocs in South East Queensland. Come face to face with 800kg of sheer terror at Australian Wildlife Experience and meet the lovely lady that stole his heart, Matilda. It was love at first bite and the snappy couple have given birth to five clutches of baby crocs at Dreamworld. Goliath is 70 years old and is a fearsome 4.8 metres long while Matilda measures in at 3.6 metres. Male saltwater crocodiles continue to grow their whole life and can reach up to 6.5 metres in length. ------------------------ If you’re looking for some feathered fun, experience a feeding frenzy with our cheeky lorikeets and the Free Flight Aviary at 2.30pm daily. Then find out what the natives get up to after dark at Nocturnal House, a live, walk through experience where day is night and night is day. See squirrel gliders, feathertail gliders, lizards, barn owls, tawny frog mouths, the Rufous Bettong and lots more as they come alive right before your eyes. ------------------------

The vintage car thing is all gone, the whole area has been like buldozed, it is all dirt! and there were machines working on stuff, well like 2 but still + the rapids were closed so they drained em! + the TOT broke down! Sooooooo funny! 2 turns after us, it zoomed off then went slower n slower then stopped!
  11. My friend was so upset she couldn't go to that, because she LOVES the living end, like seriously, sooo upset lol
  12. OO does this mean another new ride for DW?? Yay!
  13. Definatly not familiar lol. Thanks for the help everyone! And to DW_rulz, hopefully you are right and it will be quick
  14. No I did the journey planner (it started working again) and It is like southank station to coomera- 50ish mins + like 10 to get to dreamworld + I take another bus to get to southbank
  15. Oh ok thank you A lot of travelling it would take like 80-90 mins! From southbank station though. Hmm $4.80 so $9.60 total. Hmmmmmm. Thank guys
  16. Thanks I think students pay $3 something, my friend said? each way :S
  17. I need to go from Brisbane near the city, to DW. How much does this cost does anyone know? Bus or train? Thanks.
  18. Maybe they will be moving the cars track a bit further away or something. It can go by the river where they have the boat, not near wiggles world the other side of the cars. I mean the coaster can go there + on the island.
  19. I'd rather pay $15 at WWW than $21 at WnW ... better rides.... easier to navigate... shorter queues...
  20. Yay! I hope this because my max action pass expires on the 5th that is why! It would be funny if it opened on the 6th! Lol!
  21. OO omg that is so exciting I cant wait!~ I hope its done before 5th December!!
