  1. That's funny I thought it was the other way around Surfrider close before the movie then H2O close, H2O has never closed until the end of the movie for me, same as mammoth falls but the park during the movie is also dead at night!!!
  2. I don't remember it raining, maybe clouds, but no rain!!!
  3. I went to dreamworld on tuesday and friday. I must say I seemed to enjoy my trip more than other times, don't exactly know though because it hasn't changed much since last time, but yet it still doesn't have the same feel as when I was young!!! Anyway when i entered the park now has some wizard guy going around on a done up motorbike, with old music playing, for an Aussie themed park it seemed a little out of place for me, but still it was nice. The park was busy, and when I say busy i mean BUSY!!! It was packed and what didn't help was rapids being down on tuesday it was maintence, but by friday it was technical failures, but at about 2.00 they were refilling and had it going, then they turned it off, and more miantence guys stood around looking at it!!! Motocoaster seemed more fun to me, i was lucky cause it was my friends first time on it and she was really scared and wanted to ride sidecar, the line was long, but a guy came around and asked for side car riders, so we went in front of every one else. Yeah, it did seem much more fun, then again more harness wasn't on to tight, so my legs didn't hurt at all!!! Although now the food stall next to it is all motocoaster, what they have done to it just seems a bit tacked on to to me!!! They were also very, very slow, two people serving, slow. Not once did they smile, not good customer service, i know at the moment WVTP are cracking down on their staff about this, I think ML should to, because even operator staff, if there's two of them on a ride, all they seem to do is consistenly talk, even when the ride is empty, and people are waiting to get on, they just talk, when your on the ride and there suppose to be checking your harness their talking and then they check and while checking the harness's slowly, you guessed it, their talking!!! At least they smile at you!!! I must say they their not all like that, some are very effeincent and friendly!!! The exit is now candy lane and a showbag pavillion!!! Also now next to mick doohan they have interactive V8 supercars so looks like their putting into practice what they said already, its 5 bucks for something like 2 laps around sufers's track!!! I saw the wipeout, I wish they would still have the water running, that would be cool, and the stuff at the top!!! Oh Well!!! On friday, Tower of terror in the morning seemed like it launches were a long way between each other, when walking past it later, it was broken down, i could hear the ladie over the spaekers and everyone looked to be evacuating, it also broke down on tuesady and later again that day on friday, mick doohan broke down on friday and so did the claw!!! I also got my friend on the claw who was petrified, but loved it, she thought her head was going to fall off, I though she did pretty good condsidering she did her first roller coaster two months ago, the Reptar!!! Also while my other friends went on the giant drop, i took carly on the motocoaster, the line, they were using both trains (both days) and the was moving quick, but once again we wanted to use the side car, which once again had no line. I went to the exit, and asked the attendent, we wanted to ride sidecar, but no one's in line for it, he let through the loading dock to sidecar entry and said wait at the back, which i thought was nice of him, i think side car entry should be earlier, i noticed he was doing the same thing to other people, just no one lines up!!! Its silly to wait in a line with otherswho aren't using the same entry as you and you could be on the ride quicker!!! Also mone ride now has some sought of shooting target practice game their!!! And I saw Kenny the Kola and the other one, which was cool, because i havn't seen them in ages, I saw them a lot actually, which was really good to see, more than the nickoledean characters, and the clown!!! At one stage he was dressed up as a bride with what looked like sooccer balls as boobs which i thought mybe was a little inapproiate, considering he had lot's of little kids around him!!! I had a fun two days and I hope they keep improving!!! Next ride is the Wipeout for my friend!!! She was so funny on the Claw!!!
  4. That's the thing I don't seem to have a themed folder, where is it? or do I not have it?
  5. I don't have a folder called style and then one called theme in my RCT3 folder, do have to create this as a new folder or am I missing something?
  6. This is probably going to sound like one of the most ridicolous post's ever, but right now I'm not thinking right and I'm really confused, so here goes: I want to get pumpers steelworx, I found out the website its on, but I don't know how exactly to download, (do I just run it or save and if I save then what into?) then I need to know exaclty I put it on the coaster's, getting rid of the old supports and creating the new one's for it? I know this must seem stupid to some people, but I am really confused and I need help! So if someone knows, could they tell me as that would be agreatly appreciated!!!
  7. Yes but you could extend the building to make it viable!!! It defiently needs something new in that building, it was just an idea, I think yours would be much better since it just so general and people love stunt cars!!! There's other things you can do to better the batman ride and your idea would probably be cheaper as well!!!
  8. Just replying to Mickey D's post. Why would you have two stunt shows? I have a feeling that Police Academy will be replaced, it just doesn't make sense to have stunt shows and there a whole heap of other type shows you could have!!! I also have an idea for the Batman theme with the intamin multi motion simulator, It could replace the simulators, themed to the batman mobile, I havn't thought of any theming or storyline, but I think I should It could replace the old simulators now, just redo the outside facade to make look more like Wayne manor keep the indoor libary thing but add the new simulators, with the new storyline to go with the new movie the Dark Knight!!! Then outside you could have the Gotham city park with a playground, like the stuff they have got a six flags for their Batman rides, have something similiar. I also like how Gazza said once of doing something similiar with Superman and the extra ride, I like the idea of an extra ride as it could take some of the pressure of superman on a busy day, with that Lex Luthor ride I liked Sonic idea http://www.ridetrade.com/rti/index.php?opt...1&Itemid=35 But i think it might be too intense if it goes upside down, defiently a sickly ride for some!!! and I've noticed MW doesn't seem to do sickly rides, but more fun thrills still intense, just not sick thrill rides, that's why I like this ride for the Lex Luthor theme http://www.s-spower.com/flatrides.html It a fun thrill, not so much sickly, I think it should be the size of Cedar Point, It simulates all the fun stuff of a rollercoaster without a track, its just one gigantic swing and proves to be really popular: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=TeQ_CPs441U http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=-pkYTbZwXgo&...feature=related http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=6wjHqE-I78c&...feature=related Wich is always good and what is needed in a themepark!!! Also don't forget you don't have to have Warner Bros. rides. Warner bros. sold up their part of the parks a couple of years ago, so its no longer free for WB rides, they would be paying royalities, which means they can do other movies from other companies and we have already seen that with Shrek, besides the general public don't pay attention to what company its from as long as its fun and gets them imersed!!!
  9. That is a great idea Gazza, I think it is awesome, it would be great if Movie World liked your idea and did something like that. I also think Movie World could pull it off easy, look at rides and themeing they've done on them in the past: * Wild West Falls * Batman the ride (simulator) * Looney Tunes River Ride * Bermuda Triangle Just to name a few! Pricing could be the main thing that stops it! But once again I think they could pull this off! Because of this I found on this website: Replaced by Bermuda Triangle, which recycled the same ride system. Disney executives were amazed the ride had been built so cheap, claiming that an identical ride in the states would have cost at least $20 million. The ride was funded by the listing of the Seaworld property trust on the Australian Stock exchange. Now Disney says at least 20 million, Seaworld did it for 3 million, this gives me confidence that they could do it again!!!
  10. The Tower Of terror is closing down as everyone probably already knows this Wednesday for what seems just to be a day for who knows what reason, but I have been meaning to say this for a while now, but have forgotten to say it! The weekend before the 1st of December I was getting my half-price annual pass, which was so popular that half of DW's front entraence gates we for people buying a pass, no joke. You got a temporary pass, to come back get your photo taken cause the line was something like 2 hours. Anyway I went back the next day to have my photo taken. But one both days I was there TOT was going higher then it normally does! Everytime I see it it always just reaches the 'O' in OF on the tower. But both days I was there it was reaching the 'R' and even sometimes the 'E' in TOWER!!! Which is a lot higher than it normally goes! Have they cranked the speed up on TOT so that it is now a lot closser to the breaks, so its like it use to be? I haven't been there since, so I don't know, Does anybody else know? If so, it sounds like DW is doing something positive, restoring the ride, to how it use to be and what they claim it to be!!! But here's the thing if its going faster and higher why are they closing it down for a day, or longer?
  11. I just went on the Dreamworld website and found that after all this time - Eureka Mine Ride - Blue ringed ocotopus Does this mean we will never see them again? Have they gone for cheap way and just got rid of them after a long time, hoping nobody will notice Have they got sick of having the rides on the website, but they will re-open everntually? Or are they now back open? Could someone please answer these. If they have reopened, I will be very happy, and excited since I'm goning there really soon (I'm buying a pass, since there half price). But if not then I'm really dispointed in DW and there is no other way to put it for me! here's the link to their website maintence page: http://www.dreamworld.com.au/content/stand...tionMaintenance
  12. What about cedar Point, there always putting in new expense rides, i don't think there losing business, parks put in rides to keep people coming back and big rides like superman every couple of years, not becsuse there doing bad, that's the exact reasaon there put in!!! If parks only put in rides becasue they doing bad than Cedar point must be doing shocking and most parks would hardly ever get big rides!!!
  13. Gazza that idea of MW needing a citywalk is really good, I have heard somewhere from somone on here once before. I think it exactly what they need, MW, W'n'W, AOS and PC are all alone in their own little section, if a thing like Citywalk was put between W'n'W and MW and hotel was put in it would be really good and make it much more of destination, other than, go to MW, then go back to Surfers, and have the Monorail go to all of the parks and that. In the citywalk you could have one of Village's Cinema complex's, and intencity, which they both own and things like that, it would really help get us up there recognised with the big parks. Lookign they have a lot of room to expand. MW can really get a lot bigger, but they have to move some of the studios to do this, it would coast a lot but its the only way to expand!!! But that's a bit off topic, You never know what's install, we had Superman and shrek go in at the time, so we could a roller coaster and a family ride at the same, and that year it cost them 31million for those two attractions, so you never what theyv'e got planned. But i so hope its a B&M Flying coaster, like Tatsu it would be so cool and we would be really close to be like being like the American, I mean Superman was 16th best coaster and W'n'W is the third bussiest water park in the world!!! BTW thanks for liking my ideas I've been thinking about them for a while now and have come up storyline's , where they go and evreything!!! I know I have way to much time on my hands!!! LOL(Laugh Out Loud)!!!
  14. I think a flying coaster would be perfect for MW!!! Also with its price the most expensive ride ever built was Wild West falls and it cost 18 million and it opened in 1998 and it has 9 years since then, and Tatsu cost 23million and it was built on the side of a mountain with stuff for Earthquakes as that area is so prone to them as Gazza said, this makes this ride only five million more surely we could afford a ride like this and it would be cheaper, because it doesn't need all the stuff Tatsu need's. Although then the money would have to go back on for theming so it probably would come back out at 23million and surely we could something like this. With the theming I'm not sure, I know they have the thing with DC comics and Iron man's Marvel, it just depends, its just so hard with Movie World because they don't realise a lot of movies and lately they haven't been very good, so maybe it is time for Movie World to start looking for other themes from other companies, they have already started it with Shrek!!! Although it may be a little I really like Gazza's idea for the Matrix. Although I know people still talk and know about the movies and still pretand to do the tricks like running up walls and bending over avoiding bullets (not leterally). So maybe the Matrix theme is still viable. Gazza do think you could draw up a thing for this ride. Your very talented at that sort of stuff!!! Also with the Multi Motion simulator I was thinking maybe it could be themed as the bat-mobile and replace Batman The Ride 2, it would be a big hit, I know a lot of people don't really like, its just not very good. At the Halloween night, that rides was a walk-on, not one person was lined up for it!!! While every other ride was packed and the batman area could be turned into Gotham City Park? If we still could get a license I think a Harry Potter ride would be awesome, but we can’t because J.K Rowling is very strict and asks a lot of money to have an attraction like the one Universal’s doing. But if could this ride would be awesome http://www.ridetrade.com/rti/index.php?opt...3&Itemid=36 it could be themed to you being in Gryfindor playing Sytherin in Hogwarts Quiditch Cup and correct me if I’m wrong. This would be a world first? Another thing that western area where the show stage is completely deserted and empty, so this is what I thought could go in there, given we can get the license and that the rumour still might come true that MW was getting a thing to do with the Simpson’s!!! A themed Area next to the Show stage themed to the Simpson’s and have eatery’s such as Lard Lad Donuts, Krusty Burger, Moe’s Tavern. As well as building’s such as The Kwik-e-Mart, Town Hall, The Simpson’s House, The Power plant, Mr. Burns Casino, The Church, The school and The Springfield sign. There will be two rides one thrill flat ride built by S&S Power it will be a Scram’n Swing and will be themed and have storyline that your testing Homer’s latest invention. The ride will be the same size as Cedar Point’s (Sky Hawk). The second ride is family orientated and is a high-tech Intamin rapid ride. It will be behind the Show Stage. At the Springfield docks and you will walk past the Springfield sign to get to it, it has theme’s and storyline’s from previous Simpson’s episodes. There will also be a Simpson’s show in the Show Stage, but it won’t just feature Simpson’s characters, it will also feature Warner Bros. characters. Something like this, http://ozcoaster.net/index.php?option=com_...2&Itemid=27 Other rides I would like to see at MW, but they don’t just have to go in MW They can go in our other parks, I reckon these rides would be really fun and awesome to have and ride in Australia. Its just I think if MW got them they could an excellent job on them: • An Intamin Floorless Tilting Gyro Drop (91m tall) • A Huss Topple Tower • A wooden Coaster by Intamin • A Mack spinning coaster • A vekoma splash party Also MW needs some transport, so I was thinking a monorail around the park and in the Batman area something like the monorail in Batman Begins and also maybe things like trams going up and down Main Street!!! BTW, Next to movie is that big water mass, lake, swampy thing. I think they should expand over that and make the water part of the park, just make it look a little nicer! And parts of the flying coaster could go over it and then the park would also look a little like the Universal Orlando parks and after all wasn’t that what MW was based on!!!
  15. That's Dreamworld being run by MLT for you, destroy its original theme and put something tacky in instead!!! I hope that one day it will return to the Dreamworld I use to remember and enjoy with family!!!
  16. I find an interesting topic on oz coaster, sayin that there might be A Disneyland going in Coomera. Look's like extra compettion for Dreamworld. Its from the bulletin, so coming from a newspaper it may not be true!!! I've often heard Disney's going here and Disney's going there, but nothing ever happens. Who knows though maybe this time the papers right, I sure hope so!!! I think its the right location where all the other theme parks are, there's plenty of room and the train station there!!! Fingers Crossed!!! Here's the link http://ozcoaster.net/boards/viewtopic.php?t=502
  17. When I read the first post I was about to say "Where did you get your infomation from? Are you sure the parks want this realised." But as I read on they have realised, I still thought it was still hush hush from I what was told by someone. But yeah as far as I can remember that's what they've got and in the asx thing before that section it says John Mezies so I imagine it would be pretty accurate! I think the stunt show would be something like "Lights Motor Action" At disneyland. http://ozcoaster.net/index.php?option=com_...7&Itemid=32 Don't forget this is Movie World, they always do a good ride or attraction. With the noise I think it will be very noisy and loud with cars all the time so maybe a roof over the top of it could reduce the noise a bit? What do you think? The hippo's I think will be great and if they spend most time underwater (98%) then wouldn't there be a underwater viewing deck? I think they will do it great, (they travel the world looking at big attractions) I think they know what there doing and why. I think it will be great and interesting just like Shark Bay, Don't forget Shark are underwater 100% of the time!!! Way to go WVTP!!!
  18. I went to Dreamworld again today, the line got up to two hours long! It kept breaking down, Wipeout was down, Cyclone broke down twice, and Giant Drop had some of its seats not working, the lines for River Rapids and Log Flume were absoluetly ridicolous, everything else was quiet or emptying including The Claw and the Giant Drop wasn't that bad either. But I was appaled with with the two hour wait for MotoCoaster and only one train running as well, and don't worry so was every one else, but they still stood there!!! Cyclone when it wasn't broken down was a walk on, and the food prices was absolutely ridicolous, it seems they were worse than last time for no school holidays MotoCoaster was packed, something needs to be done about it.
  19. From what it says on Coaster Force it says that it will be getting rid of Batman: The Ride from Six Flags New Orleans, sorry I was thinking of the worng park but still its Six Flags and their getting rid of their B&M Invert Batman which I think would be an excellent addition to our parks down here!!!
  20. Yeah, I think it would be an awesome idea, it was the first thing I thought when I read about it. Just sprouse it up, give it a coat of paint, give some good theming. It would be a great addition and people always seem to love the Batman Inverted Coaster over there, so one here would be great, plus it would be our first B&M!!! What does everyone else think about this idea???
  21. Just with the wheel thing, i did happen to see surfrider testing before it opened and its wheels were really really sqeauky as well!!! Especially when the ride started and when the ride was slowing down to stop, it was about the same as the motocoaster if not even noiser!!! Even my friend pointed it out!!! But by the time it opened it lost a lot of its sqeakyness, theres was a little bit, but not very much at all!!! I imagine as time goes there will be no sqeakyness at all and I think the same thing will happen with the motocoaster as well!!! P.S - I will going to ride the motocoaster at Dreamworld really soon, so then I will get experience it for myself!!!
  22. I'm a bit confused with the height! I recently heard the add for the new surfrider, but the add claims that the ride is 30meters high, yet on this site it claims that it is only 20meters tall!!! I would like to find out Surfrider's actual height as I'm a bit confused!!! Also if you haven't ridden Surfrider yet you have to! it's a really fun ride, sort of reminds me of The Claw!!! But yet its still different!!!
  23. I have ridden it! I went the first day it opened! It's pretty awesome, you get soaked!!!
  24. With the stats the speed is good at 72km. The time at 55sec I think is short. The capacity for a dual loading station, which will be interesting to see as it will be a first in Australia, I think, is low. Considering LW and SW only have a single station, sort of, but have a higher capacity. But one question I want to know does anyone know if there is going to be any inversion?
