    No, we were sitting near the ride from 10:00 until around 14:30 before we had to leave so I could go to work... After sitting there that long waiting had we been able to stay another 90 mins we would have been on it... Well I would have, wife waslooking after the little one and going on Green Lantern while we waited.

    So we missed it by 90 mins... After sitting there since 10am... Dammit. Oh well got Tues and Weds off so will be down there to do it all again.

    So Gazza, what time did you end up getting on the ride? Want to know by how much we missed out after almost 4 hours of sitting around waiting before calling it a day.

    Been waiting for this to open since park opened today. They started with we are hoping it will be open later in the day, and the word now is "It hasn't officially opened so we cannot say if it will be opening today." or "It is opening sometime these holidays." depending on which attendant you ask... Their FB page = It’s official you will be able to join in the ultimate battle between good and evil on Justice League 3D The Ride THIS WEEKEND! Again, I understand opening ride jitters and bugs, but when no ones story on the day matches... Looks like another bravo to PR!!! Also noticed the merchandise with the star pods in the DC store have Justice League: Alien Invasion 3D on them. Guessing this would be due to the name change at the last minute.

    So confirmed open to public day tomorrow? Don't want to have to go through getting the little man sorted to go there if not. I know if it doesn't due to opening day bugs nothing can be done.

    Also think about the fact it is a family ride... Much easier to explain to kids, shoot the stars rather than, shoot the extraterrestrial humanoid...

    Dammit why on the day after my "weekend"? Don't start until 3pm for the next 4 days... Looks like a trip to MW just for this is in order.

    Yeah we left not long after having lunch. Scooby Doo had the outside switchbacks full as well. As we left a lot of families were still entering as well. Queried a staff member I know and they said the attendance was at approx 8k at the time we left.

    GL, SE, SDSC all down with issues this morning. Just our luck that we are having a day without the little man to spend time on these rides together. Arkham was walk on as everyone seems to want to still queue for the non operating rides and were able to get 3 cycles in a row re riding as no one else was coming through the queue.

    2 large shipping containers out back of JL building. 4 palates with what seems to be the same shape as 2 of the ride vehicles one behind the other covered with black plastic wrap. Small amount of construction still going on inside so looks like a few days yet until we can consider the opening.

    At park today, barriers covered in what looks like a blood bath from zombie attacks lines the path from Arkham to Sound Stage 2.

    No it is what we used to do with my grandfather who passed away a few years back. We do it a couple of times a year still.

    Neither, totally serious. We head down and pull in at MW for nachos before heading to the Gold Coast and then swinging back over tamborine to get some fudge. Hell we used to drive all the way to Coolangatta just for pies.

    Sometimes we are heading down the coast for the afternoon we call in at MW for the food and nothing else.

    So there is still an 8 day window during which it could open... I have next Wednesday off and grandparents are looking after the little man so the missus and I can do rides together at MW for the first time in a year. If a MW rep is reading this... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE soft opening that day

    I originally thought it might have been out of respect for Christopher Reeve after his accident but that was 1995... And then his passing but that was 2004. Then with the release of Superman Returns in 2006 was very suprised they did not reintroduce him.

    Let us say this is definately correct for this discussion... What if someone was to attack the Green Lantern costume character? He cannot summon stuff with his ring to protect him. What if someone shot at the Wonder Woman costume character? Her bracers do not deflect bullets. It's like saying you can't sing baa baa black sheep to kids as it is about black slavery and white man profiting from it, or little miss muffet because it insinuates that all women are helpless and scared of spiders...

    Didn't think it was possible for me to want to go on this ride anymore than I already did... Guess I was wrong. So given Superman is now featured in two rides and is on the top of the DC store, will MW bring him back as a costume character?

    Brad, I saw the IMO, just pointing out their policies. All good. Even I was a little shocked when they told us that he could go on the tweety cages, we were just asking so we knew when we could take him on it. Also forgot to mention in my original post on this tangent... As we were leaving an RACQ tilt truck drove in with a policia car on the back. Obviously they must send these offsite for some work, this one happened to be sporting a rather large dent just in front of the rear driver side wheel.
