Well a day of excitement, lunch time i contacted the park from school and asked, Hello will the beach be getting anything new this year, yes we will be getting 3 new slides. Are you sure they are not the old ones getting painted? no they are 3 completely new slides, ok thanks then at 4:30 this afternoon my brother rang the park as soon as i got home, his conversation consisted of this as he turned the microphone on so we could both hear it, "the beach is getting a number of new slides this year, by sep 27 that are not going to be the same shape or design and i cannot tell you anymore at this time as it is told to be kept quiet!" frankly i am excited, that's 3 people who have got the same response im just waiting for Liam to ring and 4 times and i'm sold!

I emailed DW last night and wonderland are not buying the thunderbolt here is a bit of their repsonse "I can confirm the Thunderbolt is not moving to Australia's Wonderland. However it will be dismantled in the near future to make way for new attractions." damn

I can't understand what wonderland is trying to achieve by doing this. Transilvania was supposed to be the scary area of the park and it achieved that look well but from what Flea says and what i saw last week they are just ruining this land. The only possible answer to this could be Marvel.??? Hulk- green Spiderman- red The new Spiderman character in spidermna 2- yellow Wonderland what the hell are you doing, i might contact the park this week and get an answer!

Well imo i would say the best park in australia is wonderland. It is cleanest, has better shows the rides take away tower of terror and what are you left woth at dw? Staff at wls are good etc... now it may be a bit biased in my opinion seeing as i am a big wls fan but my last visit to dw didnt give me that experience that i get from leaving movieworld, seaworld and wonderland.

wonderland staff are fantastic. I have never had a bad experience with one and they are always happy and talkative. I think that gives the park more atmosphere and people return to the park because of that. There are only a few staff that i would say are average but no names are being mentioned because i just dont know who is readin this.

i spoke to the park today and the bush beast is closed because a workmen that was working on the ride was hurt. Thats all they told me!

Well i was off at around 10:05 and arrived at Wonderland at 10:15 fairly quick trip from Penrith. My mum nearly missed the turn off and had to turn quikly to get in the right lane. As driving past the beach i noticed that there was alot of trucks around the area. There was also a large crane that has taken the top off the 'beach skyscraper'. We drove around the corner before i could see anymore and entered the park. I hoped out and ran down the stairs (like a little girl) got my wonderpass scaned and was in the park. I straight away headed for transilvania and noticed about the new shop (or old one new name) "Chills and thrills" I wont go into detail about my day because i didnt move that much from SP and Demon. I met Liam finally i hoped on the Space Probe and three of us were on carrige 3 and i was thinking all the way up its goto be him. When we came down i got off and he looked at me in a funny way lol I said well you must be liam and he said yer. Next we went on the demon together and we had a talk to Billy! Funny as always. He told us some stuff and said i ask to many questions! He ate my fairy floss! I dug up some info asking around staff and guest relations -The Bush Beast two workmen were hurt -The beach wont be getting a new slide just a new level in the tower and they are painting the pools WOW! -Nothing for xmas well.........maybe i'll say Anyway that's enough of me rambling on i'll post a new 'Wonderland Today' report next Sunday (my next visit) And Liam i gave billy the adress for these forums he wants to see what everyone says about him and he's gonna visit it tonight. Heres hoping he signs up!

Damn Liam u beat me to it! I didnt go today however saw the crane when i was driving past! I could only see the top of the beach slide thingy from the road and it had the roof taken off. Thunder were you told of this being done to the beach slides? Chills & Thrills- I like the name. Sounds better than merlins floss factory. I think that the whole main plaza may become Super Hero Headquarters i cant wait till it opens even though it's just a shop! I hope they dont pull out the echo area I will see what info i can dig up tomorrow if i go. Was billy working today Flea? Did you say hi to him from wonderland operator? What he say? I might take a camera tomorrow and see what i can take some picis of!

from wat ive heard becasue u visit the park around 3 times a year because we have a caravan down there at kiama. It's about a 10 drive and i know a few staff down there. It will be a wavepool. that's wat i heard about 2 months ago on my last visit. Flea- Closing down! I think not this park is always crowded look at the parks history on www.jamberoo.net

one of my friends brothers went to the park last monday or tuesday i think and he told me that the bush beast was closed from about 12:30 on and there were ambulances that came screaming around the corner and into the park. There were 3 ambulances. Someone must have got hurt because the wouldn't have closed it then half way thru the holidays.

i went liam today but couldn't find you mate. Billy was at the bmx show today ushering in people. he said hey and that he wanted to see the show so he did the show ushering and did a swap with two other staff. I was there 10:35 till 2:45 wat time were u there?

thunder man how do u get all this info out of the park, can u please tell me what u said to them and i'll go and arange a meeting with someone on the management team? can u tell the whole forums one thing though please when can we expect this new ride, and should be be exicted put it on a scale 1 is not much excitement 10 is extremely excited thanks mate

i think nightshifter you getting lost the rights to the land mixed up to lost the right to use the hanna barbera liscence. They didnt renew that but got the marvel super heros instead

well that means wonderland is still bigger than disneyland cause HBL really wasnt that big goldrush is the parks biggest land and with the beach open it would be bigger if what you said is disneylands true size

yer well if they just spent a bit plonking new rides in hbl some flat rides then reopen the beastie that would be good. In my dreams but the could negotiate another contract with say cartoon network or dreamworks and theme it to a kids land! But what are the chances of that happening........ I tell u if i owned the park and i know they have the money i would do something like that and then it would make the park alot more popular.

$500,000 shivers that's alot for just teemoving a ride! I cant see why they dont get the skyrider going and people can get to it like that becuase the exit/entrance to the skyrider is near the beastie all they would have to do is put a wall up around that area and make it u can only do that there. Went to the park today for 3 hours after a full day at toronga zoo im so tired! pARK was packed today again Sp- reaching 25 mins and demon- 30 mins. Demon went till 5:15 today! Great in the dark and great operating and laughs all day courtesy of billy!

well explain why the would want to level out the land? There is more digging inside the parks boundries near the beach not to do with the business park. Why would they waste their money leveling out the land for nothing? The grass would be killed and plants etc... it's just pointless There is defiantely no reason why it is not close enuff to the beach it is right up to the beaches boundary fence. Something will happen i can sense it
