  2. Hey Skipper, If your a fan of Disneyland Music I certainly Recommend Buying- ''A Musical History of Disneyland'' 50th Anniv. CD Box Set, Special Edition. http://disney.store.go.com/DSSectionPage.p...oduct_Id=182205 Its $125USD but is incredible I bought the limited edition off disneydirect and got it yesterday and haven't stopped listening to it the music is just so clear and really puts you in the park. one of the best collectibles i have ever bought! Its a 6 CD set, With Coffee Table Book, and A Reproduction Record of the First Ever Disneyland Album All packaged in a beautiful Red Fabric Box (The limted edition of only 5050 is a numbered set and the record is gold. disneydirect are sold out but Disneyland are getting 3000 of the 5050) Also has Sounds put into scores from around the park. This Set is simply amazing. Definatley Recomend it! You won't be dissapointed 7+ Hours of Music.

  4. Yeah they showed the wrong footage hewas talking about the Matterhorn and riding that and they show'd California Screamin'
  5. Yep Disneyland USA has a very special feel that makes you just really happy! its the best Walt never had plans to live in the castle and never did. He did have anapartment above the Fire station on Main St. And the lampin the window was always lit when he was there to let everyone know uncle walt was there. Now The lamp is always lit andnever out, to show his spirt is always at Disneyland. Before he died he was planning a large apartment for himself and his family above New Orleans Square at DL but after his death this areabecame the ultra exclusive Club 33.
  6. Will Never see him try Space Mountain, Its Closed till July 15th but it was good he swore on Big Thunder

  9. Jim Hill isn't that reliable always saying his sources in WDI and talking about so much that never happens, and getting kicked outta Disneyland for doing unauthorized tours he charged for . But this India visit has been in the news but will have to wait and see. wouldnt suprise me though.
  10. I think it depends what you feel is more value for money Quality Or Quanitiy? Dreamworld for Quantitiy Movieworld for Quality I chose Movieworld as i prefer a longer ride withdetail and some story over just a plain ride fast and short. Never been to Seaworld here only in San Diego which i belive both are different
  11. ^ yes we also need money like USA, attendance Like the ones in the USA etc etc.
  12. Half the time after its announced is just planning and design , probably about 2 years after announcement till you even see building prep commence.
  13. Totally agree skipper, It doesn't matter how long you know it would be fantastic.
  14. From annoucement Most Disney parks take a minimum of bout 7-8 years. Hong Kong was announced in 99' And opens September 12th 2005 Paris Was announced in 1985 and opened to the public April 12th 1992. So Denim_Dude, Unfortunatley even if Disney were to build a park in Australia, Disney have already said nothing will be announced till after Hong Kong Opens in September. We would be looking at a grand opening in late 2011/2012.
  15. Ok just cruising some disney park sites and i came across this http://www.micechat.com/showthread.php?t=2676 I know theres a few here that know about some lighting companies that do outstanding work here in Australia. Just seeing if anyone knew anything about this andalso just to let you all know.
  16. I doubt it has inversions top thrill doesn't niether does Xellerator so im doubting it does so it will proberly have lap restraint similer to the two mentioned as adam said.
  17. Ive got so much disney park music. I Have all the music from all the attractions Walt Disney built for the 64' NYC worlds fair, disneyland, and DCA attractions and area music and few from paris too. I Love California Screamin' music track it ties in so perfectly to the ride itself as you said Richard. I listen to it on my ipod and its like being on it again, you can picture each part of the ride when listening to the music. Its just great when the music is fitted so perfectly to the attraction, (like on Indy anaheim, splash mountain, etc etc) I think attraction music is a vital part to the attraction as Walt Disney Said once along these lines... "the guest dosen't come out of the attraction whistling the Architecture ..."
  18. does anyone know where abouts the land is address wise is it the old wonderland site?? and yes it is a small amount of land, does anyone know if theres more in the area??
  19. I did read you post im just thinking the radio report was wrong as above it shows what the spokeswoman said. but if im wrong and your right ill be the first to admit it and apoligise! and also jumping for joy
  20. Let hope all goes well and they do choose Sydney!!! Sure id love it in Melbourne but heck Sydney's a 1/2 hour flight away!!! Just remember they are also looking at South Korea, Shanghi China, and areas in South America, So lets all just hope they (the sydney governement) Woo Disney into Sydney!!!!
  21. Different Catagory Knotts And Magic mountain fall under the Regional Amusement Park catagory- as in they do get out of town tourists but there key demographic and attendance is from the region and its residents. Disney Parks and Universal, Seaworld are tourist parks- they still get the local market just as much but also major tourist attendance and in turn major tourist dollars compared to regional parks these are the parks tourist vist when in town. its just one of those things like AlexB said when your in california you vist Disneyland USH when your in paris you visit Disneyland Paris etc etc. Also AlexB well said! We were the same our last vist to the USA's key reason was to goto Disneyland
  22. My bet is that you will next see Mary Poppins in the Capitol, as it just opened in london. especially if they got it for the next 6 years they are going to want to make money off it!!
