  1. I did hear about that, but I didn't think it was still happening
  2. Just had a look at the current Dreamworld map and it says there is a new experience is coming in December 2013. Does anyone know what it is?
  3. It is known that there will be a show scene before and after the track. I think that when you walk into the line up are you will get onto the ride at your right. You will then make a small turn to the right (Maybe 45 degrees) and then the water fills up, like there is a flood/storm. You then exist the shipping container and start the track. After the splash down you enter another shipping container and there are boats and cars that are on fire (Or something like that). You then travel around to the station. So from what I just said there would be more a end show than pre show, but I could be wrong. The station might be on the left, meaning there is more of a pre track show. Thats just my opinion. All we know for definite is there will be water and fire effects. We will just have to wait and see.
  4. The ride was postponed as the money was put towards the polar bear shores extension
  5. I think the side winders are 200m long and jet streams are 160m long. I have wondered myself what the height and speeds are. Sorry that is all of the information I have.
  6. how does the attraction work? do you go into a room like AVPX and given a mission or do you go through a door and just try a find your way out within a time limit? we need more details.
  7. Have been tried the attraction out yet? If so what were your thoughts of it and was it as good as AVPX.
  8. When I last went to Movie World I was originally just going to hire a locker out for an hour, just so I could go on Superman Escape, but I decided it was easier to hire one for the day. Yes it costs a bit more and it's not that I don't trust myself, but it was just easier. You just go back for your money when u need it and just check your phone every time you go back. It save the hassle having to worry about your items. And if you use the lockers next to the main street photo centre you never have to walk far as it is in the centre of the park. Thats just my view on it all.
  9. I havent been to movie world for over a year now so I don't know. Does that mean that when on Green Lantern they let you put your items in the small boxes in the station. Last time I went they were only used for people with description glasses.
  10. The old Bermuda Triangle photo centre is being transformed to fit the theme of the Storm Coaster Source: The Theme Park Social Network
  11. It is almost complete Source: The Theme Park Social Network
  12. I am not trying to boast. I do suppose my choice of words could have been better (They are not testing, they are checking the track to ensure the cars run smoothly and the dummies are on site).
  13. People were questioning my post when I said that Sea World were already testing the ride back in early August. ChrisMason's photos just provided what I posted.
  14. So when I posted the image of the boats with a dummy inside it, it was for testing.
  15. Remember Dreamworld has only 3 rides which fit into the theme of Ocean Parade (Wipeout, Shockwave and Reef Diver). The Claw, Evilution and Cyclone don't fit into the theme at all.
  16. I think there will be two entrances. One as shown in the image and the other where the old queue line for Bermuda Triangle used to be (Bottom right of the image). So to sum it all up, basically what you said.
  17. Compared to the Bermuda Triangle, yes it probably will be. However we don't know for certain how long the track is before and after the coaster.
  18. Mini Cars Driving School was supposed to open, along with the Storm Coaster this September, but because of Cub Kindy opening this september the date of the storm coaster was pushed back to december and mini cars next year.
  19. The plans to build the ride were reportedly put on hold due to Village Roadshow reallocating the investment towards an expansion of Polar Bear Shores.
  20. Testing has begun. Back of the Storm Coaster Source: The Theme Park Social Network
