  1. Well if this was dreamworld everyone would be going nuts.
  2. Just gonna leave this here: RIP guest relations.
  3. But but but I want my coffee? I don’t care about employees safety. I want my coffee! 😂
  4. @pushbutton can you please leave the shaded seating area joke alone. We get it. It’s just not funny anymore. Thanks
  5. Village Roadshow’s full years results came out today: http://villageroadshow.com.au/-/media/VRL-Corporate-Media-Library/Documents/ASX-Announcements/2019/August/VRL-Full-Year-Results-Presentation.pdf
  6. It’s a concept art not a rendering, the final coaster won’t look like that, all we know is it will be the worlds tallest, longest and fastest coaster reaching speeds of 250km/h and going of the cliff edge I would say around 200 metres being 600 feet
  7. If you don’t have blue swimwear, just get some dye.
  8. WorkSafe South Australia has banned 4 rides from appertains at the annual Adelaide Royal show. IMO this is just overboard, these rides operate safely at every other show and all around the country. Maybe adding a secondary system of a seat belt would be ok?
  9. @joz You can still get towers like this from ProSlide or White Water West. But don’t get me wrong this slide tower will overall help give WWW a boast over WNW with something new and impressive visually to look at. While it is a cheaper company but considering everything else that’s been built or is being built I don’t think we can complain. It adds some much needed capacity to the park.
  10. @Skeeta you still can at adventure world and Jamberoo.
  11. With them being body slides they kind of need to be, I guess time would tell.
  12. @StingRay With the slide tower complex at cockburn ARC in Perth, the Polin slides didn’t fit together.
  13. I would say considering TOT2 is closed for the first 2 weeks of January. They might try and milk it out till at least this coaster is built. But I doubt it will be around at the end of next year IMO.
  14. Some more images that came from the GCB with the water slides to open in the next few months:
  15. It’s a complete clone expect with a Star Trek enterprise start. With a launch toward, into a stall. Goes back up a spike and then launches forwards into the blue fire layout.
  16. To clarify one point that I missed originally! * “Southern Hemispheres first multi launch coaster with stall and reverse twisted half pipe” * Along with a seperate spinning rotating gondala” * 1.2km of track with speeds of 105km/h
  17. https://clients3.weblink.com.au/pdf/ALG/02137222.pdf Some key points to take away: * spinning car attached at the rear. Coaster to start construction next year * more to come over the following 3-5 years
  18. So with the new slide tower announced for WWW today here is a dedicated thread for the slide. No opening dates were given however if ground work has started now I assume there is no reason we can’t see the slide tower opening by Boxing Day this year. (If they submit paper work on time) With the coaster launching in 2020.
  19. So HWSW, MDMC and This will all feature yellow track? On a side note are we sure this is really yellow? Maybe it’s paint colour 284 😂
  20. Don’t WNW-GC utilise an digital cash system link to your wrist band? AW does this and means you can buy food and drinks anywhere without needing to go to your lockers.
  21. Likewise with the movie world kids area, there is no doubt that WNW is in need of some love and new slides. So if you had the money (still a realistic amount) what would you add? In my opinion if they build a modern slide tower complex from proslide with a wall, UFO, bowl and a body slide to replace the MACH 5 complex and a new massive water coaster along the lines of mammoth or wilderbest to go in where the buggy’s used to be. I think that would really transform the park. Whats your thoughts?
  22. With VRTP clearly showing they are willing to spend money to improve their parks offerings, it’s not unrealistic for them to spend another $20-$30 million on a new updated precinct in the years 2021-2022. If VRTP really want to fix the kids offering or build a world class dark ride they can. Just weather they want to and or when.
  23. People also said that about Australia getting a wooden coaster. They were wrong.
