Haven't seen many holes for this one, their skills wouldn't be suitable for this project. -

Two more days until the MW team are officially drunk Patience will get you far in life And by in life I mean in rep I feel like the pieces that have been put in place definitely make up an airtime hill -

The park would probably also have a say though, seeing that GL will need to be closed for the parts close to that, and they would want to do that out of peak season. -

anyone around to get any photos if this is true? -
Looking at the current poll options, here's what seems to be the most popular ranked. I gave 2 points to any ranked as #1, and 1 point to any ranked as #2 1. Speed (19) 2. Intensity (17) 3. Airtime (9) 4. Theming (8) 5. Smoothness (7) 6. Fast Pacing (5) 7. Drops (4) 8. Duration (3) 9. Inversions (1), Hang-time (1), Family Friendliness (1) 12. Capacity (0), Slow Pacing (0) Interesting results, speed/intensity/airtime/smoothness/fast pacing I was expecting to be up there. I'm surprised duration wasn't that popular (although with this you could argue you would much prefer a short rough coaster over a long one), but what really surprised me is how high theming came in - I feel that what @djrappa said sums up the reason of my surprise well enough - I'd much prefer to be riding Fury 325 over a tiny kiddie coaster or something really rough with a completely immersive theme. Of course, there was always going to be quite a bit of unbalance in it as some people have travelled the world riding coasters, while others haven't really ridden much at all. People all have their different opinions.

In your opinion, what are the most important elements/qualities a rollercoaster should have?

At first I was seeing a loop, but now I'm starting to think more of a large airtime hill. -

No sign of any airtime-y pieces yet? -

Double the height Double the awesomeness of the views Double the pain having to walk up that many stairs (although I found the Arkham climb wasn't nearly as exhausting as people made it out to be - still, climbing 60m is bound to tire even the fittest of people) -

Why not just do a Star Tour when it's open? I'm sure they have plans to add a component of this coaster to it. -

If a member of the GP ever says "loop" it could really mean any form of inversion, -

I thought you worked for DW or knew people who worked there? How scandalous, giving a DW employee/inside-man information about MW! -

Yeah, the ones low to the ground really don't require too much effort to put in place. Of course, the larger ones will probably take a fair bit longer to line up properly (and will most certainly need a bigger crane). -

Based on those supports, looks like there will be a downward or upward spiralling helix or curve of some sort at that place. If MW don't announce the coaster by the end of next week, I will have to make the conclusion that their marketing team have been drunk for the past 6 months. -

Same here, when I have bags/glasses/valuables on me and need to store them in the boxes I'm often quite concerned about them which is why I'm always up and out of my seat very quickly. -

You need to remember GL's inversions are slow with lots of hang time - almost gentle. I wouldn't mind one or two fast-paced, intense rolls on the new coaster. Sure, AA has them, but sometimes it's a little rough - this coaster I'm sure will be glossy smooth. -

I think they would've picked up before they built it if that was going to be the case - but it was a lot more intense than they had planned and probably would've caused a few injuries. -

As has been pointed out, it's not the same, but it certainly looks like it'll make up a very intense element 😄 -

I'm hoping we see some upwards-curved pieces soon Or maybe some rapid-transitions -
Does it fall into the style of ride that you'd view as a hyper/giga normally though? Lift hill, multiple big drops, lots of airtime, swept-out layout, long ride? I'm just interested to see what people think about it here - what other factors will cause people to draw the line on hyper status.
