  1. That would be smart to paint the steps the colour of the slide Good for people who don't speak English.
  2. My comment said 1.3 to 2.9. Magic Mountain is (I think) the most popular Six Flags. And they only have just over Double the People but over 3 times the coasters, and better more expensive coasters. That can explain why we have cheaper coasters or why we have fewer, but not both.
  3. Green Lantern manages their Single Riders quite well as they get groups of 5 or so so that they can have them ready. I think SRQ are great and essential for smaller coasters, I just believe that the queue should form closer to entry.
  4. I really hope Falcon's Fury comes to Australia And you are definitely right, although the other Sea Worlds are larger and I think have smaller exhibits. Wet n Wild is really the one with a need of a change. If WWW picked up they would be in serious trouble. Sea World is completely dependent on their vision and what they do with the Sea Viper land. A very very nicely themed Small scale thrill ride (like a Gerstlauer or Maurer-Sohne) would be really nice for tying it in with the theme. Like Crush's Coaster at Disneyland Paris.
  5. I don't think it wouldn't be a crowd drawer I think it would leave Batwing redundant. And I think the biggest reason there hasn't been a Western expansion is because if real estate. IMO they've have made the DC Comics area disproportionately attraction heavy, completely detracting from the rest of the park. As for the Western theme at DW, I totally agree. So many loose ends that need to be tied together. It would be wonderful if they had more attractions there. They've done a great job with Ocean's Parade.
  6. Someone's bitter Anyway, what I was saying was that if itwas not possible to have both WWF and the new attraction, I personally would advocate removing WWF and having the new attraction. Didn't say it had to happen, just saying what I would want. And I do believe that the area needs another attraction. It barely exists now. It's almost like they created the Western area just to not make WWF look stupid. There is genuinely nothing there... A few flat rides could be helpful, however I do believe that the next big project should be Western and that project should be a Coaster. It could have worked to actually make Green Lantern a Western theme given many of the already existing El Loco's were Western themed. Obviously land and space was an issue. As for people living, I am surprised. It is not a great location in terms of noise and I have never seen houses so close to the parks. And as for you sayig that I said Dreamworld should never build another coaster, you are obviously deficient as I was saying the polar opposite. Cyclone is a bad Roller Coaster by International standards BTW. And the idea is similar enough to Batwing IMO for it to be awkward. I know one is a free fall and one is a launch... Why not just build a Batwing equivalent next to the Giant Drop!
  7. Smart. And the reality is that IMO you should have to go to a park 3 times for it to be worth your while. SO $60 and $150 doesn't seem too unfair for me. Especially if it's a VIP pass. Another thing which I think could be beneficial for Movie World and WnW would be if they actually connected the two parks. Like had a Monorail or something. They could charge something like $80 or $90 and give you a joint pass for one day. If you got to Movie World at 10 and left WnW at 9 you could probably get in about 15-20 rides Also, why does Movie World shut at 5 even in Summer? Something my family always does for WnW nowadays is arrive at 3PM in Summer and stay till 8 PM. All the rides except Surfrider stay open and the queues are non-existent. I would love to do the same at Movie World plus it would be cool to do the rides at night
  8. Thank you Was actually one of the most constructive points, even if it will never happen
  9. I don't want it to be knocked down, but is there any other space for a Western attraction. IMO it is more essential for the park to build a new thrilling Western attraction than keep WWF. There is really only 1 Western attraction... Do people live out the back of WnW and MW That surprises me. As for Doomsday, I suddenly remember. But wasn't that a pipe dream? It seems stupid to have Batwing and Doomsday...
  10. Dreamworld could definitely increase the number of Roller Coasters. All of Dreamworld's Roller Coasters are really cheap cop-outs, with the exception of Tower of Terror which was built ages ago. If they stopped spending $6 Million to build Wipeout plus all the costs in maintaining it, maybe they will not only make a half good Roller Coaster but a few of them. BuzzSaw is really a joke... They could have made the Launched equivalent and it would have been much better. MDMC is OK but is still a bit of a cop-out. Cyclone is now a joke really, another Arrow legacy coaster. The Madagascar rollercoaster is good for kids. That is literally all the Roller Coasters aside from TTII which is barely a Roller Coaster anyway. As for visitation. Dreamworld brings in 1.3 Million a year on its own, SFMM brings in 2.9 a year with its water park (I know its not a huge difference). SFMM is cheaper and yet offers almost 4 times the coasters, all of which are longer, more expensive, well themed and actually intense. Dreamworld's biggest problem IMO really is their spending of money on Flat Rides and the fact that they don't really value Roller Coasters. They've spent more on Wipeout than any of their coasters...
  11. How can a ride as amazing as Abyss have such short waiting queues Do Perth people hate Amusement Parks?
  12. I know I was just joking. I do think that a SheiKra style Western Themed Ride should be put in near Wild West Falls
  13. What does GIB stand for (sorry it's late ) An El Loco would perfectly fit the profile for "The Big Dipper". I think it would be great if they did this: 1. Moved Spider to Tango Train 2. Shut Tumble Bug 3. Built Superman Clone where Flying Saucer used to be with Soundproofing hopefully taking in some of the cliff area so that the attraction could be seen from the entrance, the foreshore around the bridge, and for people walking down from Milsons Point station as an "entry ride". A slightly smaller clone version could also be good. 4. Move Ranger and Power Surge to Tumble Bug area. 5. Make better use of Crystal Palace. 6. Build a Maurer-Sohne coaster using parts of Coney Island if possible for viewing, extra length, and just a bit of fun + Maloney's Corner + Picnic area. If they did that, Luna Park would become EXTREMELY popular and they really wouldn't have lost any rides. I liked the Tumble Bug and Flying Saucer, but I would prefer 2 coasters + Power Surge And also that allows many of the HUSS rides like Ranger to still be replaced I remember a ride like that at the Easter Show. Actually super fun, much more than it looks That would explain why everyone loves Insane at Grona Lund...
  14. Doomsday? I think it would be really cool if they either knocked down Wild West Falls and built a SheiKra equivalent or even better somehow managed to have them both. BTW, is there any way to get people up to the Wild West Falls area where all of the snaking takes place? It's actually a lot of land... Is there space there?
  15. Very true... Also, are there any unused ditches in LPS which could be useful for a "head-chopper" drop or something? It would be amazing if they could build a Winja's type ride that uses both Coney Island and Maloney's corner. That would allow a significantly longer ride
  16. Maybe not for Sea World but definitely for Wet n Wild. Surfrider to this day still has one of the highest patronages. The fact that I still queue for 30 Mins despite it having the highest patronage is indicative. Kamikaze and Aqualoop are similarly popular. If they introduced a one of a kind thrill ride it would definitely take off. Even better, build SheiKra where Mammoth Falls is
  17. And if they could get the world record (I know it's hard and expensive) that would be an AMAZING selling point for them... Do you really think? That area of land is so long and thin and that is not as good for a roller coaster IMO. And you could move Ranger to Tumble Bug, put Spider where Tango Train is and then scrap the rest... One thing I think we can all agree on is that if they get a new coaster which they need to it will be a car coaster, not a train... What exactly are the conditions... This is the perfect example if you wanted a RollerCoaster on the TumbleBug area. Would be kinda cool to have it over the ocean though And yes Dreamworld should have gotten this instead of BuzzSaw.
  18. That is so stupid... Was one vastly less popular than the other so that people were clogged beneath others going on different rides?
  19. Yeah it seems that that's the best. Is queueing less than 40 for it?
  20. Too violent. An inverted boomerang would be super cool And relatively inexpensive as well. And they could totally fit an S&S El Loco...
  21. I agree with all of this. Many of the ride operators at Movie World are simply inadequate. The turnover on Superman in particular IMO could be a lot faster. I see no reason why the train should ever have to wait at the unloading station.... And yet it always does... As for the capital, I understand why Movie World wouldn't be able to build some big coasters, but surely Wet n Wild could replace rides and Sea World as well...
  22. A custom wouldn't be double I doubt... And it is a decent sized peace of land. They could take some of Coney Island as well at the back.
