  1. The BRO has been reopened Triple Vortex has reopened and was not painted. Temple of Huey has scaffolding around it. The RIP has reopened TOT is off the map in park. The only painting that can be seen so far on The Little Rippers. Trolls is still being deconstructed. The Log Ride is going to be closed until next year. No progress has been made at the site of the new rollercoaster. Poles have gone up along the path connecting Tiger Island and Kids World. The Shaded Seating Area is underway.
  2. I thought Intamin did. It’s on their website. https://www.intaminworldwide.com/project/tower-of-terror-ii/
  3. In light of it's closure, would it be worth Dreamworld having another reverse free fall coaster built? Take into consideration; The Dreamworld Tower would most likely have to be rebuilt. Possibly, they could demolish the tower, and rebuild it with Falcon Fury gondolas on a new drop tower and another Tower of Terror that reaches a high speed and height. It would come at a massive cost but I think it could be worth it in the future. This is very wishful thinking, but interested to hear your opinions.
  4. Congrats to Dreamworld on getting the ride running for the whole day with no interruptions and fast dispatches!
  5. As much as I love DC Rivals, Tower of Terror 2 will always be the best of the two in my opinion.
  6. Dreamworld will never be the same again. Tower of Terror revolutionised Dreamworld and is by far the most influential investment made in the park. Despite it’s problems in the later years, it served the park very well.
  7. Just announce it’s closure now. There is no chance it’s going to be able to perform well enough to satisfy the demand it’s going to have for it’s last day. Don’t piss paying park guests off, if you know it’s not likely going to be able to perform tomorrow, make an announcement before you have a large bunch of people with a sour taste in their mouth.
  8. I’m not waiting to find out ... probably longer with parking issues because of the rain.
  9. Give it the send off it deserves they said. They certainly have done just that.
  10. Sky Voyager was something that Dreamworld needed in their ride lineup, but it wasn’t an attraction that was going to bring the crowds back like a major thrill ride would have.
  11. I respectfully disagree with this statement. The ride will be great but I cannot see it becoming more iconic than the giant drop. I also don’t think the roller coaster can ever replace Tower of Terror. Only two in the world and that experience can’t be replaced easily.
  12. Hopefully now they can have a more reliable ride selection. Wipeout and TOT 2 were the most unreliable rides and now that they are gone, maintenance should be easier for Dreamworld and their pockets won't be bleeding trying to keep the rides running. Although, they are going to need planned investments continuing from what has been announced so far. This is a massive loss for Dreamworld however and was arguably the most iconic ride in Australia and will defiantly have a negative impact on the park for the time being, especially so soon after Wipeout's closure.
  13. Some guy got hit in the head by a bolt on DC Rivals
