Lo and behold, they managed to sneak the TRR in there again:
"The decision, which is expected to be confirmed on Thursday, comes a few years after the October 2016 deaths of four people on the park's Thunder River Rapids Ride, which permanently closed in November that year."

The IT Maze was absolutely top notch from my point of view. The sets, props, sound track, costumes, animatronics. It looked straight out of the movie. There were so many times when I didn't know if I was looking at an animatronic or an actor. So well done
Gotta disagree. While the sets were nice, there was nothing that looked straight out of the movie. The only room which came remotely close to that was the 'scary doors' room. Most animatronics - looked like animatronics (Especially Pennywise coming from the sewer, and Eddie's head popping through the mattress.
I agree, the maze was awesome, but it certainly wasn't as good as it could have been.

Honestly though most of RW slides have weird colours that don’t really go well together so I don’t think it’s a big deal. Personally I don’t mind it I think it’s big and bold and will grab peoples attention driving’s past.
I believe the red is only on the inside of the turn around sections, so the only visible colours to motorists/guests who aren't riding, will be the different shades of blue, and yellow. Shouldn't look too bad.

@Gold Coast Amusement Force think the upgrade might've already been done for Tower of terror seems to be running more reliable these days.
I don't think reliability is the only issue. The launch is very janky and needs a good upgrade.

Could they be using the arcade as the queue?
If that was the case it would completely defeat the purpose of the clown head which is outside of the arcade.

F**k me that was hard to read. Every English teacher you have ever had just dropped dead.
Here, i've made it a bit easier for you all:
They are locked open. Then, in the first room, I wouldn’t know how that would be set up if the queue reached there. Then, entering the second queue, it snakes around the screen as seen in the above picture. You then get assigned a level.

All the lights on the Roxy have been fixed/replaced also. Assume it was done for the FN Ad but it looks great with them all working again.
Speaking of, are they utilising the theatre for anything this year? Seems a bit odd to leave it empty after most other years they've used it.

The Hydro Coaster, Wedgie and Green Room are open again.
Absolutely fantastic to see the waterpark in such good condition now. It looks great! I do believe WWW is superior to WnW now - the owners actually seem to care about it.

@Flynn_Smith where that head is located leads directly to the dodgems area, so the maze will have no impact on the arcade area
My mistake, I thought there wasn't any direct access to the dodgems space and you had to enter via the arcade.

Looking almost identical to the 'IT Chapter 2' experience in America. Could they still be adding the rest of the features?
Also, does this mean the maze itself will start in the arcade area, and move into the dodgems space?

Sea World's Vortex page has been updated with a new video which shows off some more details about how it might look come December.
Isn't it supposed to be atlantean themed? It's looking very generic in that video

the pathway is getting the new environmental flooring. they are square tiles that look like grates, made from recycled plastics. it is in the up and down part linking SSS and Corroboree (above the cassowaries).
I believe they already have that flooring. Maybe it's being painted?

Its a tried and trusted marketing strategy. It hits the target audience on a highly emotive level. Yeah seen it utilised many times before to varying degrees of success but this is very very well done. You cannot help but feel connected to Village personally after viewing and that is one of its main purposes. Nice.
Wonder how Dreamworld will react to this and what will be their counter delivery?
@Brad2912 do you know if this is meant for general circulation, or is it part of a greater social media campaign only or does it form the nucleus of a raft of new TVC's?
It's all well and good to say that they 'treat guests like family', however, that is usually very far from what you experience at the parks, specifically Movie World. Unless something has recently changed, there isn't anything which makes them stand out and make your trip 'unforgettable'.

There was an A-Frame near the entrance which mentioned filming. I didn’t read all the text but that’s where that rumour would have started.
Filming was also happening around the entrance - heaps of gear was inside the gift shop, under the stairs. I believe it was actually @Slick doing most of the filming that I saw.

Seems like it might be closed for filming? Not sure

Still closed at the moment. Apparently just a ‘short technical delay’
