djrappa+aussienetman=win But seriously, I am very excited to see another family attraction in its place. Yes I know it's speculation, but I can't imagine it being a thrill ride. Maybe (in a few years time) with the removal of the Batman simulators we will see another thrill ride. But for new a new family attraction in place of the river ride sounds good to me As long as it's well themed! I can't imagine them going with another dark river ride though... Because seriously if your knocking down a perfectly well themed river ride, why build ANOTHER one and then theme it again. Unless they are keeping the ride structure and re-theming I would find it pointless. I think we are going to see something new for the park, something more "innovative"

Yeah that is a little late though, well let's hope its for something good i.e a future attraction... I'm sure someone else with more knowledge of the backstage works of Dreamworld will be able to fill you in on why it would be open so late!

Are you sure it's not for the Zipline attraction being built at Wet'nWild right now...? Edit: A link or something would be nice too

Looking great! Because it's a park map my comment might be irrelevant, and I'm not really an avid Sketchup user. But I think some textures and stuff would look really nice? Because at the moment it looks a little cartoony, but if that's because this is the park map and you want that look, then well done

I too agree on the shooting rides, something familiar to the buzz lightyear one in the disneyland or something! Although I would prefer a rollercoaster I think for the park itself it would be the best option. I'm not too familiar with bugs bunny and stuff, but why not be the bald guy in his car trying to shoot bugs bunny or something?

I wish it was a B&M standup although it's good to see they are still trying to do "new" things such as the wing rider they are currently developing/building.

When you say B&M, I know this is speculation, but why not a Dive Machine? Something similar to SheiKra maybe... SheiKra cost around US $13 million didn't it? That's not outside of Dreamworlds budget. And its definately something Australia hasn't seen before, as a matter of fact any B&M would be something Australia hasn't seen before!

Yeah that's true, but from what's being said they are looking to add a ride to the big 6 THRILL rides. I know there's not one single ride out there that can appeal to thrill seekers and also children/familys. But if it is a THRILL ride, then I think my idea makes sense or not? Off topic: Yes I agree, something more intense. The giant drop is great, I think the TOT is fast but too slow in getting up to speed. SE is a great ride but like you said it packs a punch, but just not enough. Once again... Mega-Lite!!!

I was confused by the double bluff too joz! So from what I'm reading the coaster will hopefully be finished by 2011 (knowing Intamin!). But my question is when do you guys think we will hear anything "official" of this? Also I remember someone mentioning iSpeed at Mirabilandia would be suitable, but then someone said it was too similar to Superman Escape. I was thinking, if they go with a mega-lite, then why not make it faster than SE, but also have inversions. A win-win isn't it?

Hey guys, I was bored today and it won't stop raining so there was nothing to do other than play around with No Limits. This is a recreation of Superman Escape at Movieworld. I know it isn't 100% accurate but I did a lot of the custom supports myself to match those of the real ones, noticeably the top hat. Let me know what you think so I can improve

I really hope these "boundaries" are going to be something good, Superman Escape is a great rollercoaster but in my opinion way too short. If your saying it will be Intamin and "pushing boundaries" I'm thinking of a mega-lite. It's still way too early to speculate though What do you mean, more than one new ride coming next year...?

The theme park industry over in Asia has just been booming in recent years, its no surprise there's a sudden demand for newer/better rollercoasters.

^Since a couple of years ago (someone could correct me exactly when) there is only one train operating. For a while it was only the blue train, but recently the blue train has been taken off and now it is the red one. Would anyone know why they can't run both trains? And why the red train was getting "maintenance" done for so long?

They are $12 at Southbank cinemas in Brisbane. So $15 IS more expensive than normal, but considering a burger is $4.95 at McDonalds and $10 at our Goldcoast theme parks I think the pricing of the movies isn't too bad. I honestly wouldn't have been surprised if they tried to charge $20-$25 for an adult ticket. Good to see they aren't being silly
