  1. The same thing what happened to Wonderland is now happening to featherdale. But they want that to be housing estates. See it just business, i dont care that Wonderland closed anymore, i mean yeah i miss the occasional fun but thats life it goes on, an its closure was probly a good thing cause it gave everyone a chance to get a real job!... Now people will not agree with me, but i just think that if the place had'nt closed i would be still working there, i wouldnt be studying and trying to make somthing in life. And i reckon their are some x employees who have to agree, im sure now they have found great jobs an look back at Wonderland an think to themselves, what was i thinking.
  2. I would post some scans but its of Wonderland so i dont think its really positive, more depressing i would think. gti_au that was a really interesting way in introducing yourself to forums. You have got to realise when you post somthing you are making a ass of yourself! because complaining isnt going to make this thread more exciting than it already is.
  3. Once again this thread has drifted of topic lol.
  4. Well who would post a thread about there entry ticket!.
  5. Official Memerobilia - Right here -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hello, i am posting a scanned version of an official wonderland entry ticket from a few weeks before it shut down. Any other recent things anybody has - post them in here. i will have more scanned items posted on this thread soon. i have a cd with all of my digital photos of my last visit to wonderland (in its operating days) - i have to find the cd. Now adam read this post carefully especially the first line!. I believe he wrote that.
  6. I agree that having a Wonderland Ticket isnt "official merchandise" i collected hundreds of tickets a day when i worked on turnstiles, i doubt they are going to really be valuable in the future.
  7. I have all my uniform, raincoat, polar fleece jackets, jumpers,ID Cards, i evan have the uniform before the bright yellow shirts. I even have the special ID which was destributed to the remaining staff after april.
  8. In my back garage i have a yogi bear sign, its about 1.2meters high, it was one of those signs that read. "If you are under yogi's arm, you may ride" i have no idea why we still have it lol. It was a long time ago when my dad did work for Wonderland and knew some of the painters that made the signage.
  9. I think they where their becuase Madave went mad an tried to break in!. He said he would.
  10. GoBoi's post i agree with 100%, Sunway did contribute anything to the park, they did not have a thought about the local area or Sydney itself, if a Australian company owned Wonderland the situation would have been much different.
  11. Jamberoo isnt going to buy it, they arnt that kind of theme park.
  12. And how are you allowed to get access to the site may i ask?.
  13. I dont need to listen to it on Ipod, years of listening to the music while working at wonderland has imbedded a permenant soundtrack into my brain, think it has brainwashed me!.
  14. On the Subject of Stephen Galbreith, today i recieved my Tax slip from Wonderland, and it has a Wonderland Letterhead still saying Eastern Creek, and was approved by Stephen Galbreith. Thought he was in Malaysia?.
  15. I also have the full copy of the soundtrack too, but im am using Dial up at the moment. so im not prepared to send it.
  16. Its not about making it a really good park its about Money.
  17. Lunaparkfanatic. In regards to your post saying Dreamworld has more money than wonderland did i dont think thats the case, remembering the owners of wonderland ,Sunway is a massive multibillion doller comany, which owns themeparks hotels, business, i would assume they would have been fairly wealthy, just that wonderland didnt see any of their wealth.
  18. LunaParkFanatic: You will actually find that several people do have the entire soundtrack, but its a bit difficult to get a copy of it. So i wouldnt hold your breath.
  19. I would assume that Wonderland fixed it the most cheapest and most crappiest way possible.
  20. I have a question for the residents..... Dont You think you should have thought about noise before living there!. Im sure they noticed when they wanted to buy the unit they were living above a themepark. This is a case of who was there first!.. The noise was there when they bought the house, it was still going to be there when they moved in.
  21. I have a solution for the residents..... MOVE!. This is a case of who was there first!.. You live above a theme park, what did they think was going to happen!.
  22. As i said before willsy, it was designed to cater for the guests who dont like the thrilling rides, some people prefer gentle rides, some prefer big ones. Zodiac gives every type of person a ride experience, eg. If someone is elderly or disabled, or a family who has little kids they might want to go on a ride together and they may not be able to ride the Space Probe Or Demon, so the alternative is Zodiac. Anyway i think it should remain in Australia no matter which theme park wants it, its a unique ride, one of a kind. I would hate to see another one of our rides been shipped off overseas again. But if nobody does want it, than im sure Sunway has their eye on it.
  23. Ummm. It began like one year ago!.
  24. Zodiac wasnt designed to be fun, it's basically designed for the people who prefer gentle rides, like parents of little kids, familys can go on the ride together, it also gives a good view, guest that dont like roller coasters or more thrilling rides may just prefer the zodiac, and parks have to cater for that. They cant all be fast and furious!...
