That was really, really cool. Not sure about the frisbee with the car tyre system though, for something that size I just don't think it would work, unless they already use this system and there's something I'm not seeing here.

That's what I figured also. I thought the shoulder restraints would be an all round body restraint, with some nice comfy padding to spare, but I still have no idea either. Hey, just thinking, put two and two together, maybe they're changing the pod so it is in the form of a flying coaster attactched in a way like Vekoma's flying lift hill where you are facing the sky, how coool would that be?!?!?!?!

Looking through the Sea World Nara Resort website for holiday ideas, and came across this bit of shocking information: ATTRACTION MAINTENANCE The Toboggan Slide, Speed Slide and Freefall Slide in the Sea World Waterpark are closed indefinitely to make way for a fantastic new attraction. The swimming pool areas, mini slide and water fountains continue to operate as per normal. The Skyway will be closed from 30 August - 13 September 2004 for annual maintenance. From my memory, rides are as follows: Tower Of Terror - $2700 per hour Giant Drop - $2350 per hour Cyclone and WipeOut - $1700 per hour Rides such as Vortex etc. - $700 per hour.

Here they are! You'll notice that there is quite a lot of paintjobs going onto, well everything and the pathways are getting this coat of sand (someone clarify what they're doing?) Everything was really looking quite nice, and as for the golf course, it'll definitely be a sort of (pay and win) type attractions, that is, if it really counts as one. Oh, and al photos have had alot of their quality ditched so I can cram 'em down my dial-up connection. I' not actually sure on whether or not the rods i'm talking about are air compressors, I just presumed because of some of the guages that were on the side, but I really didn't get a good glance, but next weekend will be great for further investigation.

Okay, a rumour is that it will be launching backwards, that is what I am trying to say, but it is just rumour talk at the moment, kinda like that flyer coaster that'll never happen on the island. I found out that the only construction going on the island at the moment is a chapel for weddings, hence the wharf near AWE that's being built. But ideas for the Thunderbolt site and a brand new coaster still abound.

More luck of the draw than anything. Some guy broke his $1200 Nokia phone in the bottom of the cyclone area and was asked to go with the reide-op downstairs into the area. Had a bit of a look around. And then we went back to the park via a gate directly near the Cyclone entrance.

Let's say there are three rumours being speculated that could be true. 1)There will be something big happening to the pod that will change the ride of TOT completely (that's all I can say, sorry again) 2)The Tower's servers and computer systems will be upgraded, so the electrical fluxes are more responsive to the pod's movement therefore hitting the ORIGINAL height on the tower. 3) The Tower itself and TOT will be getting major upgrades
