  1. Thanks Mate. Whow, that's a hefty sum of money for Dreamworld to be spending, and to think you could add a hydraulic launch!! Just wondering, how does B&M become so expensive compared to Vekoma?
  2. http://www.xbox-info.com/modules.php?op=mo...&catid=9&topic= http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/evofaq.php Read.
  3. Damn, you beat me to it! In rcdb, it states that Air was 12 million pounds. All we need is some one to convert that..........
  4. Actually you can, it's called an emulator. Mod-chips (which I know very well because of a certain family member) are basically by-passer chips that allow you play over-seas movies etc. They also allow you to store movies, games and emulators for other platforms onto your hard drive. Infact, the only difference between your PC and your Xbox is that the DVD-drive is of a different format. So most parts (hard drives etc.) are easily upgradable.
  5. Plus a better quality ride that has overall fewer problems. Wipeout is a great example of Vekoma's maintenance issues.
  6. Sorry Shifty, but I just couldn't read that. Something about the claw having a monkey theme? I think a more suited theme would've been some kind of whirpool, because, it swings, and it kind of, well, you get the idea. And theme the whirlpool into Oncean Parade, and you could even change the area's name into Tropical disaster zone!!!! (joke.) You have a Cyclone, Vortex, WipeOut, Whirlpool, big crab in front of arcades, excetera excetera.....

    Diablo 2

You could call it the "coaster fans that are also coincedentally Diablo 2 fans clan". Kind of sounds like something Dreamworld would come up with.
  8. Ohhh nice one Matt, that was gold. I thought that he was only banned for two weeks, but he hasn't been around since Daniel disappeared? Maybe it's the missing link behind where Daniel is being held captive?
  9. "hydraulics". All that needs doing now is by you hitting the edit button and copying this version of hyrdaulics in replacement of yours.
  10. Question for Hussrainbow, What company is the Ali Babra ride that looks like a Huss rainbow made from?
  11. So? The island, if Dreamworld gets right of way will be concrete anyway. Please Dreamworld, enough of the Tar pathways, we get the idea!

    Thunderbolt 2

It's no limits. The one and only.
  14. I'm basing my accuations on the photos i've seen and the fact that i've only had 3 hours worth of sleep.
  15. Nah, to...... American.... I was thinking more Jurassic Park after the dinosaurs invaded and tore everything to shreds. After that, get rid of the Dinosaurs and there's the theme.
  16. I seriously dis-like medieval for Dreamworld, given the area that it is in etc. I'd go with Jungle, heavy shrubbery, great sound effects on the island, low level fog around the footpaths for that eery feeling, ooohhh the possibilities! I think that Dreamworld really needs some of our opinions to get a ride like this to work, and what I mean by that is, who-ever Dreamworld's landscapers are need some help and input from the G.P.! I think that removing the Cap. Stuart will add great themeing opportunities, here's one I just prepared. As you walk through Rivertown, a small delapotade bridge (floating bridge with old style wood etc.) with a sign "Caution, broken bridge!" leads into an island of jungle and mystery. You get to the island and the only thing you can see is the very heavy shubbery, the zig-zag type footpath and the fog around your ankles when you approach the entrance to this Jurassic-park like building where you enter for a roller coaster like no other. The floorless roller coaster hypes up in it's dark green colours and heads off through a maze of excitement through the island dodging animals, going underground into smokey tunnels, into the air and the typical quality ride you'd expect from B&M. I think i'll need some sketches to get you guys fully understanding what I mean but I think i'm onto something.

    Thunderbolt 2

Great work there mate. I have a good name as well, we shall call it... Thunderbolt Two! Thunderbolt's Vengence? ThunderFloorless? They all sound so Dreamworld don't they?
  18. "Excited". Correct spelling there. I think, while I wild shot, Dreamworld could take the following two options: -Create a draw bridge so when the Paddlewheeler approaches the bridge splits into two. -Like someone else said, create a floating pathway and moore the paddle wheeler up near the Rocky Hollow ramp and use it as a restaurant. I'll get some photos of where i'm talking about this weekend, just remind me....
  19. The Giant Drop, Space Probe, Fear Fall and Mega Drop are all free fall drop rides. In other words there is no mechanics in aiding your fall (apart from the magnets at the bottom stopping the gondola.) So if the Giant Drop falls at a speed 135k/ph compounding, and it is the tallest free fall ride in the world, it would be impossible for a tower almost 1/4 of its size to drop at 204 or whatever kilometres p/h. Unless those carnies have a magic stick that makes everything go super fast, but only Cedar Point have one of them.
  20. Other way around. I'm pretty sure is was Bolliger that in 1990 after producing the first stand-up, resigned from Intamin and started B&M. Or at least something close to that line.
  21. When the park finishes for the day, the damn on the left hand side of the Eureka Mountain gets the park's Gold Rush water stored into it. I have also been suggesting that at low tide they should place timed fountains so its not just a big whole from the eyes of the public.
  22. That's odd, The Claw had a quite noticeable Tivoli plaque on the hydraulics. Meh, The only ride that I like after breaking down twice in one day would be TOT, unfortunately The Claw just didn't "thrill" me or anything.
  23. A quick question though about the Rapids.... Why did they ever get ride off the turn table for the boats? Incase that makes any sense Richo, I'm talking about the loading system similar to that of Burmuda Triangle's. __________________

  25. Man that was an ugly photo, but here's a much more classier looking half pipe. Does anyone else notice Dreamworld's trend? TOT-Intamin GD-Intamin River Rapids-Ride Trade The Claw-Ride Trade Halfpipe-Ride Trade And by the way, the claw will take 32 people at one time, that's 32 people per hour.
