  1. I take that on board - if it went down the day before, it should certainly be displayed at front gate - however, if they anticipate bringing something up that day, and it doesn't happen, they don't throw their hands in the air and decide it's not going to open... they keep trying. they aren't going to tell guest services to put a sign up because they're trying their damndest to get it online in time...

  2. I was more thinking of the rides that would go down the day before and would require closure for the next day or so. In these instances the website may be slow in updating which rides are down for unscheduled maintenance so at least the signs can be posted. Still if a ride is deemed not fit to open for the day, it would only require a phone call from maintenance to guest services so at least the sign could be put up for part of the day or at least in readiness for the next day.

  3. I didn't say that. As in 'It's on Facebook, so I'm clearly not the only person who believes it.' Where's my apology for that clear misquote please? Lucky you are on the internet as in person, obviously you would be forced to. The internet is a cowards paradise. Jobe, I agree with you here, but I say AlexB isn't exactly helping out right now.

  4. the display signs at the front of the park are set first thing in the morning. If anything goes down in final testing (as in - the few minutes before they open the gates) or if it goes down early morning or even lunchtime - they won't update the signs... the only things that appear on those boards are the rides that they know won't open at all that day because it was intended that way.

  6. It's still rumour and unsubstantiated. Sorry. That's the ultimate truth at this stage.

  7. Absolutely spot on AlexB. I think you have just echoed what 99% of people on this board think. Thankyou and brilliant stuff-especially the last comment. I am sorry??? Maybe you could correct me if I am wrong but I am fairly certain that the manufacturer of the new coaster has NOT been confirmed. This appears to be more of your musings and wild fantasies that you seem to want to pass off to everyone as reality. However, I could not help but laugh at the irony of this little scenario if the manufacturer of said ride actually turned out to be MACK.......oh my god would I chuckle!!! Sorry for diverting the thread somewhat but AlexB's comments had to be applauded! Enjoy your trip to the Gold Coast MamaaCorydoras!! Hope you have a great time!!
