Yeah, I do agree, the price hasn't increase terribly, and peole really want there annual pass there just gunna have to buy it, I mean, most people out there would get $15 in hour or 2 hours of work, so yeah it's not that bad.

Yeah but Dom, you have to remember there is a small path the leads from the ride station to the gift shop were the on-ride photos are, you couldnt possible fit peole going on the ride and exiting the ride, there would be so much mayheme and confusion. I dont mind if they close the ride down, give them some spare time on there hands the change the trains or parts and try and make it smoother. Hey I have a question... why dont they use the same type of restraints as the batman ride? There so similar, last time i went on it, it had heaps of soft padding in the restraints so if you banged you head, it was a soft impact

It doesnt take 2 hours to movie world! You must just rush the whole time your there, gee... have some time to take in the atmosphere, relax, last time i went to movie world, it took longer than 2 hours to do everything, and i didnt get time to do the batman ride, and it wasnt even a busy day. I only watched one show, the police academy, and i returned to MW in 2 days to enjoy the park again. Personally, i prefer movieworld, why you ask? THEMING! the theming gives the place a great feeling, and they make you feel like your the star in your own movie... anyway, yeah i agree, prices are a bit ridiculous.

Yes but dom you see the thing is, the ride is going in were the ride queue is, so they will have to temp. close down the LW to make a new queue, they can't just put the line through the circuit, its too dangerous.

But it doesnt have to be warner, well it does but, what I'm saying is, Universal studios is getting rid of their back to the future ride and replacing it with a simpsons ride... the simspons is a fox company... not universal, so I dont understand there. Just like shrek, shrek is dreamworks, or is dreamworkds part of WB. But that doesn't make sense either, universal also has the EXACT same shrek 4D, yes, I am mean the exact, from seating, to movie and even the area with the 3 pigs and the dungeon cam. So if its Dreamworks, how do 2 totally different filming corporation and theme parks get the same thing?

I think a nice flatty or coaster would be good. I also think that the wild west area needs another themed ride. Sorry back onto topic there, what kind of ride of would fit in that que area? Annd as for theming, I wouldnt go for a LW theme because the movie was made a while ago, but keeping it into theme with the china town would be alright.

I'm disagreeing with what people are saying about the river ride. Its great, well, sort of, I think the ride needs to be closed down and have all the animatronics fixed or replaced. Last time I went, they were out of wack, like, the sensors detected the boat but the animatronics took forever to work, could it be hyrolics and that seizing up? Anyway back to the ride, there wouldn't be enough room in that area to even fit a roller coaster station... would there? I think a flat ride would be great, and I personally think Movie World should have a backlot tour like all the universal studios and that, it is a movie park? I would looove to see a massive roller-coaster at movie world, keyword there is... MASSIVE.

Wow... I can't beleive I'm actually excited about a ferris wheel. It is quite large, great! Anyway be sure to get lots of pictures of construction. Does anyone know the exact pick up point for the containers?

Someone was saying before about the opening of the park. I think they will open the park at least before december 10, but it will be officially opened at a later date. Like the tornado, its officially opening date was september 16 (i think, please correct me if I am wrong), and they opened it a few days early, but still had its offical opening on the 16th. Would of loved to the first aussie to ride it

Yeah i remember someone telling me that too, it was in one of these forums, was it about that dude getting his hands stuck in the brakes? Yeah I was also told the brakes were on the tower and the copper fins were on the gondolas.

NL is good, but when I use the simulator it runs so slow. It says cannot detect graphic hardware but I have a graphic card, just mustn't be good enough. It takes like 5 or 10 minutes to exit the station Good recreations matty, its ashame you dont have the spare time on your hands anymore.

lol thanks for your help WnW, but I already have a full understanding about the brakes on TOT, I was asking about the fail safe brakes on the Giant Drop. Thanks for your help but. As for the woosh noise dreamworld, I think its just the air whipping past and through the gondolas, because if you listen carefully, the woosh noise occurs before the brakes, and you can hear when it hits the brakes, like when you move a stick fast through the air you can hear the air rush past it. The Space Probe use to make that noise as well.

How exactly do the breaks work on the tower of terror and what makes them fail-safe? How are they fail-safe?

i remember the first time i went on S.E, I wasn't expecting it to be so hard to pull down and I grabed the red bars that go over your shoulders... woops. Yeah I know, I see people all the time trying to pull them up, why cant they learn, just sit and relax and let the restraint do all the work.
