Im pretty sure its water surge, just because the back of the pool is bigger and the vents on the bottom. Wet n Wild isnt surge, surge is much more effective. Wow that sounds great, I really cant wait to go there! Is the slide purple because I saw slide parts at the back of the car park and they were purple

Yeah there is no shark now, just the track it use to run on. the cycle is the same, but with different twists in it, if that makes sense, it goes for the same amount of time, and basically the same way. But with us, the computer made it lock upside down, the operators said they have never seen it before and the ride cycle actually went longer than usual. It was so fun but. lol hey t-bone, the best thing to do on it is stick ur feet horizontally and let go, when you go upside down relax and u just fall until the restraint catches u, u can almost touch your toes when you do it, lol.

Yeah you can tell. Like I said, surging water... you will notice to the right I think there is an area of the pool the water runs into, its the return valve where the water gets pumped into the tanks. The pumps pump the water into a series of tanks, when the waves are turned on these tanks open spilling heaps of water in the pool creating the wave. Look at the back wall, you will notice a serious of rectangular holes in the wall, its were the water surges out. Another way to create waves is blowing compressed air on the surface and underneath the water in like sections, wave pools are very easy to understand, go to www.howstuffworks.com and it will give you a much better explanation.

Sorry to bring up an old subject. But when I visited dreamworld, the wipeout was running fine, apart from the gondola breaking, it was like locking and releasing heaps quick make the gondola shakes and make heaps of noise. also the restraints are rusting lol, scares the crap out of new riders. About the ride cycle not doing enough spins, well when i went on it, the operators said it did something it has NEVER done before, it spun about 10 times more than what i does, and at the the end, the gondola locked upside down and both arms spun, keeping the gondola upside the whole time the arms spun, it did 2 and of half of these on the other half released and coming back into station. It was bazar! but it was great, if only they could make the ride like that. and one of the ride operators told me every ride was random, and no cycle was the same, the computer would change the way cycle goes, sometimes a little but, sometimes massively, (like it did with us). Also, in 2004 the computer shut down on us making the ride stop completly... we were upside down, but the operators hit some button and it release the breaks, we were stuck on the ride (not upside down) for 5 minutes waiting for the comp. to reboot. Oh and did water use to run down the wave at all? and what happened to the shark, WHO STOLE HIM!

I have never been but I want to, I think I will just hold it off until all these expansion are completed. It sounds great

Yeah I had the correct body position, and so did that little girl. It's not my middle back that hurts, its my shoulder blades. Im not saying I didnt enjoy the ride, because I did, and I did it many times. I just had welts on shoulder blades at the end of the day.

I love the noise of it. It reminds me of a jet traveling overhead breaking the sound barrier and I like how you can hear it from the car park. The only thing that anoys me is the warning siren that goes before it launches. Oh and I hate when your going up on the giant drop and it races up beside you, I thought they wern't supposed to launch the TOT when the GD is going up.

Oh really? Wow thats weird. Oh but hey, on Saturday night (october 7th) the water was running through the slide but it had a rope around the station. Where as on thursday the water was not running, still with rope around te station. Also, the jet streams really hurt your back, and a little girl when on the left jet stream, and she got air born and her leg when underneath her and she did something to her ankle... she was crying so loud, I looked so painful to. I don't want to be a prude but the jet streams seem really dangerous...

lol thank you for clearing that up for me t-bone. As for the pictures they were no problem. Did anyone notice the dint on the right hand canister? I wonder what happened there. Oh I realised to that the first picture is a pretty good picture, you can see the lethal weapon, superman escape, batman ride (well the stage its in), AND batwin space shot, lol, its all there:P Oh I miss movie world... actually I miss the gold coast! Yeah I think it would be great if they made that area another themed area... Hey, the theming for S.E, I thought they would of had more theming around the area of the ride, but then, theres not much you could add. I love the rushing water and the taxi and cop car in the subway tunnel before the launch. What are you suggestions of the contents of that shipping container adam?
