Honestly I don't know sorry. We were told this week is always packed because its a week before Indy, and people who come for Indy come a week before it so they get cheap accomadation, in that week that gotta do something, therefor... theme parks.

Ok ok. The housing area someone asked about is right next to WWF, have a look next time your on the tower for the MACH V.... or take a helicopter flight, they take you over it. Now, the LW still does the show the movie, its just up to you if you wish to watch it. The LW now runs 2 trains all the time (as the operator told me) and since the S.E the maximum que time for it is only 30 minutes on a busy day. There is a movie when you que for WWF, its some old black and white one, and once again, if you want to stay there and watch it... go for it, no one is stopping you. And even if the que for WWF is long... you get on the ride pretty quick as it is high capacity.

Absolutly not. They are actually getting a bit more busy because of Indy next week. Also, Wet N Wild is packed, dont know why, even on that cold windy day, there were heaps of people. My suggestion... if you want to go to Wet n Wild, go on Saturday night because its empty. I got 15 rides on the tornado on saturday night, and through the day... 2 rides. The parks should quiten down after Indy. If not, then I dont know whats going on, because there usually quite 9 months of the year.

Hey. I sent some snail mail (lol havn't done that in a long time) anyway, when i got back from GC today I had a letter from the owner or whoever it is, he said, the orphan rocker wont be open by 2010 for reasons he is not allowed to tell me. He said the ride is completly safe and has completed many circuits safely. Thats all he would tell me, I really think something suspicious is going on with the ride.

yeah. Richard do you have any idea what would be going on there? I was so confused when I saw it... I know its not a new ride because its to close to the house and the house isn't allowed any contact with the outside world.

Hey what pool was painted? I went to dreamworld yesterday and when on the giant drop I was looking into the water park... Nothing seems to have changed apart from a theming on the wavepool, a few shades going up, and I saw slide parts in the back of the car park... what slide is that? Oh and sorry I forgot, green fencing was being assembled early in the morning, I saw them put it up when getting off the cyclone... damn thats a long exit path when you dont use the emergency exit.

Rumour has it around Cessnock that we are getting a small theme park, not like those recreation ones, a theme park with full on roller-coasters and thrill rides. But the only thing is, Cessnock is not well known, and the only reason we have heaps of tourists here is because of the Hunter Valley Vineyards. There is nothing out at the vineyards apart from golf, aqua golf, wine tasting and wine shops (dont ask how many), posh restarunts, 1 chocolate and fudge factory, and 1 cheese and olive place, oh and the hunter valley gardens. Now, the council is still not sure if this park should go ahead because of noise pollution and not many people knowing about Cessnock. Mostly asians (not being racist) and rich people go out there, and I work at out at the vineyards and the rich people are always complaining about noise, even when there isn't. Honestly, I don't think that the park will go ahead as our council workers are VERY lazy and that Cessnock is not a well known place... well actually, many know about it these days.

Yeah its still there, but the thing is, its on the oposite side of the house, and about 10 metres before the house. It's on the side where the poles are with the lights joining them. They were also construction new paths along that main path and a whole new drive way, I have no idea what was going on, the driveway joined on with car park, so maybe its a new car park?

Oh my sorry, did you think I was attacking you? No sorry I didn't mean it to seem like that. May I ask how they got out? Like did the operator come to them because I don't think you can reach the release pedal for the restraints once in the boat.

When I went the on monday, they had one train running. It was so stupid, a 75 minute wait just the get on, the WHOLE que house was full and was going out the door. I went back to movieworld on thursday at about 1, and 2 trains running, I only had to wait 2 minutes, and I rode it like 10 times in a row! At one stage I got off it walked back into the que house and... you guessed it, only 3 people in que, I got straight back on it, it was great! As for the lethal weapon... I asked an operator and he said, the lethal weapon now operates with 2 trains ALL the time unless one is under maintainance. Although, if the lines are only short, they leave both trains on the circuit, but run the blue train through with no people on it and only let people on the red train. Oh and the blue train, is it new? Because its hardly marked or anything, it has brand new tires, and its not as rough as the red train.

About the car park... when I went to dreamworld the other day, there wern't many spots left, only the back row was empty... and that was when school isn't on holidays, I dont dare to imagine the CHAOS (sorry if its incorrect spelling) these christmas holidays and other holidays to come. But may I ask something about dreamworld? Next to the big brother house they cleared alot of trees and and bulldosers and all those heavy machinery where laying dirt and flattening to it all out.. they were leveling the ground. my first though was... new ride, then I remembered... its right next door to BB house, that wont be it, so does anyone know what it is?

Here are some closer and better looking pictures of the first part of construction and some of the tower in the car park. Also, there were 2 cargo things (sorry I had a mind blank and can't remember the name of them). As you can see by the welding machine and welding screen, they were welding, I'm not sure what they were welding, but it was inside at the bottom of the tower, and unfortunatly you couldn't even see when riding the S.E I really wanted to know what the green sticker said, but for some reason, there were security gaurds watching me... I went to go closer and the went right off at me.

I think it would be a ferris wheel as well. Is the ride going to be behind that building were you enter your name for give aways, because on sunday I noticed green mesh fence around it and you could not see through it unless you looked through 1 inch gap at the bottom of the fence.

I was there the same day and happened to be on the ride at the time. First of all, they did NOT tell the people to get out of the boats and walk out of the exits, they told us to remain seated, and 2nd, the restraints didn't unlock, and they kept repeating to us of the loud speakers through out the whole ride, stay calm and DO NOT exit the boat. Also, it wasn't only one boat that got stuck, and it was BOTH lift hills that got stuck, and they also said to us that this happens all the time and the ride is not broken down. The ride was stuck for exactly 3 minutes 30 seconds, then over the loud speaker they said, Thankyou and enjoy the rest of ride before the ride started up again. I don't know what was going.

All that was really interesting, seriously. Hey, what type of training do you have to go through to be a ride op.? Oh hey and I depart Newcastle airport tomorrow at 12 and am on my way to the gold coast:D

Question adam, if those sensors are on the scooby doo coaster and a harness does loosen or come undone some how... how does it stop the carriage... i thought all coasters basicially went off kinetic energy and the only way to stop them is brakes in the track, the cars arn't motorised... or are they in scooby doo coaster? Im sorry once again as I have lack of understanding these rides, I would really like to know this stuff properly.

Im sorry but I really don't know who told you that. Everytime I have riden the TOT they have checked the restraints. But hey, there hydrolic and they shouldnt come undone... unless the rupture (not sure how to spell it) and then again... dont they have a manual release point? Not sure on that last part, if anyone could correct me then please do so.

For the first time Gazza, I agree with you, lol and that doesnt happen often. 15 minutes is nothing, if your with friends, just chat to them and that 15 minutes just flies.

Ah yes I see. MMM I dunno, I would like to see another steel coaster with about 4 or 6 inversions.

WTF why? Yeah, well CB6 when I went up there in 2004 in the holidays they ran 1 train on the road runner, and I got 8 rides in a row, and I got stuck in a carriage with Sylvestor, lol, the idiot kept hugging me and rubbing my hair.
