  1. Just say. As if they are going to find out. It's a raft lift. WOOO BIG SECRET LOL. Just kidding, if you can't say don't worry. It would be a good idea. It could go from the right side of the funnel near the entry, vertically up to the station.
  2. I was born at that hospital. Hey look, ride! Where?
  3. Buy a full day pass, spend 3/4 of your day there and then get a 2nd day pass for $10.
  4. It would sort of work. The place is on 2 levels, the lower level is where the splash down pools were. When you went to BL you walk around the volcano and down to the pools.
  5. Those pics I got of ToH was the closest I went with my camera. The Loop and corkscrew are right there. The track does a banked circular turn until it hits the inversions. ToH is in the middle of this circle.
  6. hahah that would have been so scary to go on! Is Goliath the same sort of coaster they have at SFMM? Cos that one rocked. Hurt my ears for some reason. It was so fast you couldn't move.
  7. Well I went to WnW last night and we walked past Bucaneer Bay. You can tell it's made by the same people but Pipeline Plunge is almost double the size of Bucaneer Bay. The ground is also foamy cork stuff at WWW whilst the ground is painted concrete at WnW.
  8. The lines were big. You probably went on it before they got big, at about 11. Also Huey is at the back of the park. Nobody goes there unless they are going on the slides. The park was packed. I was there. You were on a ride.
  9. Here are some photos. I didn't realise till I put them on the computer that there was a blur on my lens. GRr!
  10. It's my brother's birthday soon, he's 11, and I said I'd take him to WhiteWater World as his present. So today I took him and it was PACKEDDDDDDDD. Yep, there were people lining up till about 11 o'clock. We thought the entry had been stopped. We got there at about 5 to 9 and it opened at 9. We ran straight to the coin operated lockers, chucked our shat in and went to Super Tubes. "Guys supertubes won't be open for another half an hour they have to heat up the motors blah blah blah cupcake" says the guy. Ohhhhhh ok guy FINE THEN. So we went to the Rip. Well with 2 people, not weighing more than 120 kg the tube doesn't go very fast. We were the first people on it for the day. But it sucked because we slowly went out the tunnel into the bowl and turned around the hole bit and came out it. BORING. Buttttt we still thought it was an awesome ride and planned to go on it sometime later in the day. Next we went to the Temple of Huey and were the first on Cut Snake. Yeah we took the single tubes, they are more fun. Anyway I asked the really cool fat slide attendant if I could go backwards and he made up this story about how he can't send me backwards but he sent me backwards anyway LIKE WTFFF. LOL. Then we went on the other ones. Broken Headz was the best but biiiig lines for that later in the day. Then we saw that Super Tubes was working so we ran to that. Well, we sort of wobbled cos he had a sore ankle. Woos. Anyway we waited about 5 minutes for that and got on. The asian kid in front of us was like "I'm by myself" and we were like GREEEEEEAT. Cos we knew he would have to come with us... :/ Oh well. "OI ASIAN KID, GET IN THE FRONT" I said. So he did it. Anyway Supertubes was actually good, you can feel when the motors kick in and start hurling you up the hill. My favourite part was the water spouts at the top of each hill which drench you. It should be a lot longer though. So then we saw the line for the Green Room had gotten rapidly out of control and we thought "we can do that at Wet'n'Wild", so we went to the b.r.o. No lines yay! It was actually so fun because we had a two person race. When you're on it for the first time just about to start you always get stuck. It's so funny watching fat kids losing their mat. Anyway after you wriggle and push a bit you go down the tube with a 30 cm radius and get all claustrophobic and then come out. It is actually pretty fast, a lot faster than Super 8. Now we had the hang of it we did it again and this time I jumped into the thing and fell off my mat around the first corner. Yep, my knees were red. But it was so funny and worth it. Next we full hit up Pipeline Plunge. It's pretty awesome. In comparison, the bucket is about .5x bigger than the one at Wet'n'Wild, and dumps water every minute instead of every 5 minutes or so. You could not go into Pipeline Plunge without getting drenched. The slides are pretty fun but a bit to narrow for my butt cheeks. But thats ok because I went head first most times. The attendants are much more leniant than the idiots at WnW. We then went to the Green Room and waited about 15 minutes. We had 4 people in the tube and we shot up the wall. It is so much bigger than Wet n Wild's. LIKE SO MUCH BIGGER! But Wet'n'Wild's seemed better for some reason. Maybe it's just the first time thing. But the drop is also a lot steeper. How come I always end up going face first? BORING. It happened on the Rip too. The Cave of Waves is good, it gives you free tubes which is great but gets WAY overcrowded during the day. Do that after the major rides so you can have some time in the pool without getting trampled. We hopped between BRO, Temple of Huey and Pipeline Plunge for the rest of the day. We then braved the huge queue of The Rip for one last time because we loved the ride so much. We were hoping to get on with some randoms and go a bit faster. Luckily enough we found a loner woman so we asked her if she wanted to come on with us. And we went around twice WOOOOOOOO. It was so much better the 2nd time. You go down this pitch black tunnel and it seems really short but its not. Then you go around the walls like sideways and when you get to where you first come out of the tube these water jets in the bottom of the bowl slow you down around for the 2nd time around the bowl. Then you go down the "gurgler" bit and come out the bottom. You get DRENCHED on this ride. DRENCHED. We went to Supertubes again for the last time and then went home. We bought a 2nd day pass and will be going some time next week. My tips for when you go are to get there early and don't stuff around at the lockers, just make sure you have everything ready, sunscreen on and just chuck all your crap in. Do The Rip and Supertubes first, and if you are wanting to go on the Green Room do that 3rd. B.R.O is nothing more than a 5 minute wait even if the queue is full. Temple of Huey's wait is also the same.
  11. I went today for the first time and it was PACKED. They must have hit the cap, the line for supertubes was at the pool at around 1! However I went early and was first for the day on the Rip and Cut Snake! :] We got all the rides done within the first hour which was good. We ended up buying a 2nd day pass for 10 bucks. I took pictures but they are a bit blurry due to some crap getting on my lens. I'll post them when my internet wants to go fast again. But really, pictures do not do the park justice. If this place expands, not by much, but expands, it will easily be the best themepark in Australia.
  12. I am just expressing an opinion here, and like I said, I won't go to Jamberoo so I don't even care. Don't have a go at me for throwing something out there. I'm not complaining, I just hope they don't get complaints when asian tourists don't understand the concept.
  13. That lazy river idea is crap. They are going to have to buy so many tubes, the river is going to have to be extremely wide and they are going to have to have good signage saying what tube is permitted on what ride.
  14. LOL. Yeah I meant it just as a figure of speech. To expand, I don't really think a ProBowl is the best idea, I've heard stories of it hurting your back and stuff. However that is not the only reason, there is newer safer technology avaliable. Some plummets would be a good idea or another dark mammoth. I just feel that Probowls arent exactly the best technology avaliable for such an upgrade. I don't go near Woolongong so I don't really care. I will never even go to Jamberoo.
  15. You're kidding me right? What else do you guys want to complain about. How about they tear the ride down, maybe then you would be happy? This isn't meant to be a major attraction. It's a flat, thrill ride. Not a drawcard like SE, Lethal Weapon of WWF.
  16. i voted for the one ABOUT sea world hahahaahah
  17. I think a good family ride would be some sort of water coaster - something like the Jurrasic Park Ride at USH. Water is particularly a plus for Dreamworld as their peak periods are the summer holidays and guests love to get wet. Now they will need a place to put this. It would be partly indoor as well as outdoor. I think they should use the old Blue Lagoon area and theme it to an abandonned mine town - like WWF but something a bit less cowboy.
  18. Actually I wasn't. It was a pun. Google what it means.
  19. Well the simple fact is that nobody important does care. You can criticise it all you want but it's not like they are going to rush out tomorrow and "fix" whatever you say is wrong with it. It's a ride, not a statement. Well in actual fact, the vehicles are there to match with the Batwing, there is a ship, a car, and a jet thing. I think it's a great idea. Would you rather them not be there? Oh and by the way, How is this going to change the ride? It's not detrimental is it? If you haven't noticed, the Claw is a different type of ride. It's also a different budget. The Claw is basically a hotted up pendulum. There is a reason the Maliboomer is shoved in between California Screamin'. And to be honest, when I first arrived at Disneyland I had no idea what the hell that thing was. I thought it was a spaceship of some sort with the numbers on the tower representing how high you got. Wait? Maliboomer? That doesn't make sense! *hates on*. However I do agree that Paradise Pier is excellently themed to homage California. And there is no "old school traveling amusement test-your-strength games" at Santa Monica Pier which is what it's supposed to represent. If you aren't a massive batman fan, why do you even care if it's not a top secret launch location? I thought it had already been defined that the ride experience is better if you can see people's faces before the launch. Also, you try fitting a "top secret launch location" in a 10m x 10m spot. Batwing's place is SMALL. Movie World's standards? So now it has to compete with the last ride it built? Oh god. Where will it end up? Maybe the Gold Coast can expect it's own Hollywood replica soon. HAPPY CHRISTMAS. Oh by the way, I was joking - Construction... You know. The part when they actually build the ride. PUN INTENDED.
  20. Although, as much as you are discussing, at the same time you are complaining. You can't deny that. Don't call it "constructive criticism" - construction has finished. Complain all you like. They won't care, nothing is going to change. Move on. I'm sure when you're on the ride you won't be critcising it.
  21. They probably sold about 3. Hence why they changed it.
  22. Gazza, have you actually seen the size of the spot? It's small. That concept (which is excellent btw) would never fit in the spot that Batwing is in. The point I'm trying to bring across here is that before we just jump on the criticism wagon and point out the faults in Batwing, we should be thankful that it's there in the first place. Movie World have put in an effort to increase the amount of thrill rides in the park. Space Shots are never "major" rides - if you look at examples from overseas you will see that they are usually just to create an atmosphere or add to the park's features. This does change Movie World, like it or not. Something at the bottom wouldn't change the experience on the ride. You are going to experience the same amount of G Force whether there is a few vehicles at the bottom or a massive building.
  23. And 125 bucks is a great price too - directly competes with WnW.
