Well, The ride has had 3 major retrofits. The manufacturer is unknown, but the Parkz Database mentions Hyfab / L+T Systems. And what are these "morning stages" your talking about? Is it meant to be some sort of petty insult?

I Don't think we will see it rebuilt in any way, shape or form in a hurry, and what is this downtime you speak of? Every time I have been to Dreamworld since 2005, I have NEVER seen it break down and I used to go there often. The only times it was closed was for annual maintenance or Screamworlds. I never felt the ride was unsafe once... except for maybe the lack of head clearance, but I'm sure anyone over 5ft would be worrying about that one! I am still upset at the fact it's had to close, but there would have to be a very valid reason why it happened. As they wouldn't just close it for the sake of closing it.

The Eureka Mountain structure will not be removed any time soon. Removing it would be far too tedious with Thunder River underneath it, not to mention all the shops adjoining it. Such as IMAX, Kodak Photo Center, Candy Shop / Ice Cream Parlour and various Gold Rush themed shops. Even if the ride doesn't operate anymore the mountain housing still looks good. Without it Goldrush would look very different. As it has also been previously mentioned on the forums, the inside of the mountain is currently being used for storage. And with the size of the mountain (not that big) It is making good use of the storage. Just because the ride doesn't operate anymore, and will never operate again in the foreseeable future doesn't mean it has to be knocked down. I'm sure if it didn't play such a iimportant part on various structures around the park, Dreamworld would have done something by now about it.

Canberra already has a very crappy waterpark. And they DID have a theme park (if you could call Downunderland that) But the day WVTP builds a theme park in Canberra is the day I announce that my real identity is Jesus. -

Epic Fail. Just joking lol. But if they are able to get it fully running by 2008 I will declare it to be better than Disneyland! -

I very much doubt it will be ready by 2008 as it's halfway through 2008. -

As long as Aussie World keeps the great atmosphere and AMAZING staff, I can see this being a very good move. Aussie World could really benefit from the new attractions that Village have outlined. I mean 10 attractions is about the same size as WhiteWater World currently operates. So it is a very big move and I can really see it working out well for them. -
Twin Flip left the Ekka halfway through the show in 2006 due to technical issues. Then 3 weeks later in Adelaide there was a accident on the ride. It only very recently started to travel again.

Crazy Coaster was at EKKA last year, and it is a piece of crap lol. And agreed that No Limit is the best traveling ride in Australia, closely followed by Space Roller and then probably Insanity (Chaos Pendle)

With the Sunway Lagoon information. It also seems as though they got Angoscia from Dreamworld also But from reading the description it seems a bit different...

I was actually thinking of getting them to carry the Tornado Cloverleaves up in strong winds.... far out that IS a workout!

Mmm... pity about the height limit for Sea World. I still think SurfRider should have gone there and WnW getting something like a rollersoaker. And Dreamworldfan, I think you might be onto something -

Thats what I was thinking... the horse has potential, motorbike and jet ski well yea... but a Cougar?! WTF were they thinking with that? I'd seriously laugh if Dreamworld added them to the Motocoaster and still kept the theming! -

I am half thinking it will be seating similar to the Tower of Terror, but with a lap bar, but with the fiberglass casing around it. Take a look at the Vekoma version, I would hope it would be a similar design: -

If i remember correctly on the media launch... I think the 3rd ride with guests on it got stuck on the brake run for 10 minutes. If you watch the POV on Parkz of it, you will notice a short jump in the footage at the very end... this was where it broke down. I was just lucky I was in the sidecar so it didn't hurt! -

Yeah... at least if you want a booster bike type ride... Go with the company that has proven themselves in making a decent version of it. I'm sorry but the Intamin version is a pretty poor example of a rollercoaster... -

Wow... so Just because it is the same ride style except with Jet Ski's, not motorbikes. Dreamworld is now calling this a "clone"... that is pretty sad if it is true. -

I do know that if wind speed reaches a certain speed the fire effects in Bermuda stop running, And the fog in the "Anti Gravitron" area hasn't been running for a while... And in regards to the Vikings Revenge... I think some hooligans stole there lift hill Daniel "If you ride the Flume... Catastrophe is Imminent..." Harmer -
As far as food goes at Movie World, As Gazza has said Ricks does a great All you can eat buffet. However down at the main entrance you will find Stars Cafe, where they serve a MEAN Cobb Loaf for $12.95. From memory of working there a while back they have Butter Chicken, Chilli con carne, Chicken Caesar, Creamy Rattatoulie and Thai Chicken. These also have salad + wedges on the side and are very filling. They also have things like Croissants, Sandwiches and Foccacia's. Not to mention the mean cakes. Elwin better not sell it! At least until after i've had a go on it...

It seemed at first that he was implying he didn't ride it, but after reading over the post it does seem he was just too nervous to FILM the ride. And Tony... LOL.

The Turbo is Currently sitting in a warehouse in Queenbeyan just outside of Canberra. There is no news right now on the state of the ride, or when it is expected to return. From what I have heard (unconfirmed) the ride is basically refurbished but why it isn't travelling I wouldn't know. But it is probably due to staff shortages which caused Bell's Thunderbolt ride to retire from the Show Circuit earlier this year (apart from doing the capitals)

Wrong It's called dropping out! Not that I condone it... It was a huge mistake
