So am I right to assume it will have the giant Reptar sculputre in the middle of the helixes like the Paramount ones do when it's finished?????

I don't know if anyone managed to get to Wonderland's Halloween Event this year but it wasn't too bad. Crowds were around the medium mark. The park did all ride ops up with Halloween themed make-up (bolts through their faces etc.). There were a lot of costumed characters roaming around the park too. First thing I noticed entering the park was the sign that said - "Wonderland is expanding for the future. As a result Little Wonders Land is now closed and attractions from this area are being relocated throughout the park". Expanding for the future.......I'm hoping that means what everyone else is hoping too. One thing is for sure, the park is soooo much smaller without the HB Land area. As a result queues for some attractions are a bit longer than they used to be, but I guess that was the plan. Snowy River Rampage was closed for the night for rehab and it had been completely drained. A few of the smaller attractions (Antique Autos etc) were closed too. One thing is for sure, the park needs something new. Zodiac broke down at about 6.30pm and people on that were stuck for about 10-15 minutes. At exactly the same time, the Demon got stuck between the last loop and the second lift hill. A shame it was raining a bit at the time for the people stuck on that. Zodiac remained shut for the rest of the night. Demon re-opened at 8.50pm - 10 minutes before the park shut. This left the Bush Beast as the only operating coaster for most of the night - With ONE train operating (really cheap of Wonderland). So lines for that were between 40 mins to an hour. After the Demon shut, Space Prove lines increased, lucky I rode it before the Demon broke down. Wait times: Demon (rode at 9.20pm - second last ride) - 30 mins Bush Beast - 25 mins before demon broke down - 45 mins after. Bounty's Revenge - 10-15 mins Space Probe - 5 mins

I just meant that it will definately be smaller than HB Land and something around the size of LT Village would be more realistic if they did consider a new kids area
-
If a Cartoon Network attraction is likely......Would it be right to assume it would be A LOT smaller than Hanna Barbera...... More like the size of Cartoon Network Cartoon Beach or Loony Toons Village?
-
I thought that was to do with the Wonderland Business Park? Integrated in the park? I have no idea how that would work though...

Where WnW have struggled to gain attendence in the past?? Is it possible for a non-slide water coaster or something along those lines??

I suppose no-one could ask for anything more in 2004. Dreamworld has spent huge capital in the past few years with Cyclone, Nick Central, The Giant Drop, theming etc. I do agree that it really has improved the image of the park though. If Movieworld was smart, they could really push themselves ahead with one big attraction in 2004

What To Do With The Maveric Show Stage
Psycho replied to thunder001's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I can see your point, but i think it could POTENTIALLY if marketed right have a wide spanning interest - woodies can be family-type coasters. what i mean is that they arent TOO intense. but from what ive heard of intamin's latest woodies, theyre pretty darn smooth...... -
What To Do With The Maveric Show Stage
Psycho replied to thunder001's topic in Theme Park Discussion
what about using the stage as a queue and station area, shoving two holes for track in it and, since it is now Wild West Falls, making Wild Wild West, Australia's newest woodie, like the one at MW in Germany! -
i dont know about other ppl but im definately going. havent had the chance to go to one of wonderlands halloween events. has anyone been to one? are they any good?
-
nice pic looks like the rumours were true..... by the colours of the track looks like Nick Central will be as bright as Ocean Parade is now!

What To Do With The Maveric Show Stage

I havent been to MW for a while Isnt the stage being used at the moment? -
Firstly, I guess we'll just have to wait and find out...... Secondly, they didnt say they WERE definately moving it. They said they were looking at the possibility of moving it. You may be right, that may be a lie but I guess we have to wait and see.... I'm hoping they do, it's a classic even if it's not what it used to be
-
nothing was mentioned but i guess, if they decide to relocate it, it is possible

Who would you like to see involved with thunderbolt revamp?
Psycho replied to zztopless's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I think B&M could re-create Thunderbolt's large loops nicely.... -
I have just received an email from guest relations stating firstly that the park will NOT be closing. Second of all, they have stated that The Beastie may be relocated and this is being looked at. And that if it is to occur it will not be until next year. Here's hoping. The park would be great with 3 coasters again...............Even better with 4 *hint hint*

Just wondering.....Assuming the track mentioned in the other thread was from Arrow and was for Wonderland........ This may be a dumb question but......Why coming from up north?
-
This may be a stupid question but what do you mean the park hardest to get a source from? Why is MW hard to get a source from? Congrats Rabid, I'm so jealous!

I agree totally that even some of the "small" versions of the Arrow 4-D look damn good! Second of it's type - At one stage I was thinking Intamin impulse with two twists considering the only one of those is Wicked Twister at Cedar Point. But the park surely wouldnt want to reverse-style coasters?? But an Arrow 4-D would boost attendence nicely and it would be a real draw-card. Where would it fit though? Old Hanna Barbera Land (or Little Wonders Land as it was last called)

Possible Sighting of Coaster Parts Heading to Wonderland
Psycho replied to muke's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Does anyone know where track for a new coaster (if Wonderland is getting one) would be stored there? Carpark? Little Wonders Land? Behind Demon? Just thinking of where to keep an eye out -
So we have the Arrow link and support sightings that are claimed to look like those on Cyclone - an arrow coaster. Please please please please pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease!!!!!!!!! lol Does Arrow use those sort of supports on their 4-D coasters? I can only dream that Wonderland was holding off on a 4-D until the kinks at SFMM were sorted out.........Well I can dream can't I? Even a second hand Arrow looper @ Wonderland would make me a happy camper!
