  1. I think it would be pretty cool if Wonderland built a water coaster type thing like the Flying Super Saturator at Paramounts Carowinds. It could start where the constuction is and go over the pool. Sounds fun but i doubt that higly. But the idea of a wave pool sounds pretty exciting. IMO the idea the entrance at the water area of the park sounds pretty strange to me concidering that the water park is closed during the winter season. Just would be akward thats all. Visiting the park during the winter season and having firstly walk through a closed area of the park. Any comments on that?
  2. Ok I have to say this is pretty Disapointing to hear its only a shop!!   Ah wel..... The only other thing that got me thinking was..It doesnt really take 3 months to reconstruct a shop. Since there is already a building there???? Oh well. IMO, they would have only said a shop, but maybe "MAYBE" there might come a themed area with it, that their not telling us. Who knows!
  3. I'd just thought i'l mention this! Its strange to see that Wonderland hasnt posted anything on their site yet, advertising the new area......Anything on that?
  4. Ok, IMO..... Its exciting to hear that there is a new attraction coming to Wonderland! Hopefully its a Coaster ; and not a Show  !!!!! But i wont believe anything, not untill i can see something coming out of Wonderlands side. Though, I'l be keeping my fingers crossed, for it to be a coaster!!!
  5. It makes more sence now aswell. If Wonderland was to get a Log Flume/ Splash Down type ride they might aim to make it a record breaker of some kind. I sort of like those splash rides. The adrenaline rush you get falling at a sharp angle, at a high speed and nothing but weels on the track!..... Thats a thrill. And on hot summer days the ride is the best if you wanna cool down. I'v been soaked head to toe dripping wet on one of those rides. And above all its fun!
  6. I wish that I had someone to give me some "off the record" info of the park! . Anyways I'v been thinking about a new ride at Wonderland a lot recently. To much to tell you guys the truth. I dont know if you guys remember this, but i think its about a year ago (could be less or more just correct me if i'm wrong) There was a rumour goin around about a Wild West Falls ride that might come to Wonderland. What ever happened to that plan. Might that still happen. If there was one to come to Wonderland it would be good, but I could strongly say that I/US would prefer a coaster
  7. OK Firstly. Its just a forum dont get carried away! Secondly noone was threatening anyone, its just a mere joke and if you cant see it as that, well who cares. Just relax and have fun. C'mon something big might come to Wonderland and here we are b****ing about some lame thing and certainly not impressing anyone. Lets just have some patience and wait and see what comes out of Wonderland. But untill then, were just gonna feast of each others rumours lol.
  8. Incredible Hulk Launched Coaster in Australia would be good! I could just Imagen that. That would be one of my wildest dreams come true! I can so agree with you on that one. And I'l be one of those villagers with a pitchfork and maybe a flame torch in the other hand.
  9. I completely have to agree with B&M Fan!!!!! I hope its a B&M Floorless. That would be so awesome. I could imagen one like Medusa, or Kraken at Wonderland!!!!! I'd flip if it is one.
  10. YEah WipeOut is one of my Favorite rides at DreamWorld, exept for the Giant Drop. That Ride ROCKS!!!!
  11. Yeah i know! I cant believe some peopel know what this ride is going to be! But they wont share it! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!!! Even if its just a hint on how fast it would go, or how high, how many loops??? ANYTHING!!
  12. Well here we are. Wondeland Sydney is "hopefully" getting a new ride by the end of this year. And "constuction", is supose to start in "three months". Is this all true? Is Wondeland ever gonna get a new ride? Well thats why this forum is here. Its available to post anything, you guys hear about construction rumours at Wonderland. And hopefully we'll get some straight answers out of wonderland
  13. Yeah , when i went back in April it was the first time i saw and rode The Tarantula. Although it doesnt go upside down, its still a great ride, its got some wicked twists and swings on it, almost upside down. If anyone want to see photo's of our trip to Ratanga Junction just ask. Btw the park has some wicked Themeing.
  14. Wow Beetle Coaster, I never knew that! They Started Constuction in 2000 I think it was, cause thats when i moved to Australia. The only downfall is that it doesnt go upsidedown :x Wonderland should get a new ride even if its just a ride like The Tarantula.
  15. Well firstly. Six Flags Holland is one of the favorite parks I'v been to. And WBMW Germany, wasnt that bad either. Well as for the On-Ride foto's i dont actually have any i took whilst on a coaster, but I have pretty good well timed foto a friend of mine took while we were on the coaster. (She was to scared going on it) Its called the Cobra and at Ratanga Junction, in South Africa.
  16. Thats true, we can't get to ahead of ourself! We'v got to stay calm about this!. But its so hard! I'm so jealous of the American Parks. Just look how many new coasters their parks get every year! I mean c'mon, havn't they heard of sharing!
  17. I have to agree with you on this one boycotta. I am excited, but i can't get to happy coz it might be some show themed to a marvel character. BUT hopefully it wont be! And it'l be a coaster. Imagen how good it would be! All of us standing in the line on Open Day with our video cameras, like those guys of on Rob Alvey's coaster videos. They are the best!!!!!
  18. Well "IMO" hehe, I think that this whole "factory", "Shed", whatever you want to call it!!!! Is just a distraction or something of that sort, to put guys like us on a wild goose chase. Pretty funny really! I It could be like a Wonderland Shopping Centre or some indoor leisure centre, or even worse, A SPIDERMAN!!!! SHOW MHA HA HA!!! . A good example would be what happened in South Africa's, Ratanga Junctoin Theme Park. Whilst they were building Dockside ( Mall next to Ratanga ) Lots of people thought to believe that it would be a extension of the themepark. Although it was plainly stated that it was a Shopping Centre from the beginning, people still kept on making up their own version of what goin on there. What does that have to do whats happening at Wonderland? I dont really care. Well the problem with Wonderland is, that they dont give us straight answers, but untill they do, who knows, what might come out of Wonderlands Pandora's Box..... The best thing i would sugest to do is, wait and see what happens in the end before, people get into biatch fights  about posting threads on here.
  19. I just hope at the end of the year, that there would be at least one new ride at Wonderland. Even if it ends up being like a Wild West Falls type of ride. Personally i'd prefer it to be a B&M Floorles, or a B&M inverted. I'm not really satisfied with just high drops and steep turns, I like the feelin of being upside down, very high up in the air...hehe (wouldnt all of us?) Anyways, I just hope that with all this factory constuction, and what else, that we'd see a new ride from Wonderland by the end of this year.
  20. Phsycho I will have to agree with you on this one. If it does end up being some tiger or clown or whatever show! I will be slightly dissapointed. But then you have to take into credit they this would be to early to start building a side show. But with a huge new ride to be ready by; say the end of the year , now would be a good time to start construction. Sadly we just have to wait and see.
  21. This is really exciting news. I just hope Wonderland builds a new thrill ride for the end of this year. Even if its just a thrilling flat ride. Personally i hope they build a roller coaster. My favourite type of coaster would have to be the Steel Twister. I had my first expierence last year at MBWM Madrid, and ever since i'm obsessed about them. Although a one of a kind coaster would be like the one they are building in Cedar Point now. "Top Thrill Dragster". Now that looks like a really fun one to ride. Well here is to hoping Hopefuly by the end of this year we should see the outcome of a great ride.
  22. It's a real shame you didn't get to go to Parc Asterix! Its a really good park! Yeah the white steel ones called Goudirux. Its a really amazing ride. It had it's fair share of inversions. Especially the Butterfly or Batwing (have no clue what its called  ) inversion after the loop, has really good speed on the drop. And it goes over water!. You shoul try and go there next time youre there. Its got a big wooden one called Zues aswell, i would say 1000 times better than BB.
  23. Well I'v had my fair share of parks outside Australia: Disneyland Paris. ( To much Kiddie music Haaa :x ) 1999 Park Asterix France ( I recomend to go to this one ) 1999 Alton Towers ( Great park to cold though, and cues unbareable )1999 Duinrell Holland (More water park , than themepark, good swim area)1999 RatangaJunction South Africa(BEST Themeing Ever Seen In all Parks)2000 Gold Reef City South Africa (Great Rides)2000 De Efteling Holland ( Good park, has character more focus on kids )2002 Six Flags Holland (great park) 2002 WBMW Germany (Lethal Weapon there is a whole new story!) 2002 WBMW Spain (Awesome Rides) 2002 Well Its not much compared to other peoples posts on here. Btw, i'm going to South Africa again in 3 weeks, and i'm goin to see if i can get some photo's of one of the parks there. The scenary is AMAZING and unlike nothing i'v seen in other parks before.
  24. To be truthfull, I think it will be a while before Wonderland actually builds a new thrill ride. Right now the park is more of a kiddie family park. But one thing I dont understand is, is that when i was there ( In the Summer Holidays ) the majority of people there were teenagers ranging from my age up to about early twenties, which i reckon is more of the "Thrill seeking type". And the lines for the rides were annoyingly long aswell, mostly packed with young people. I think Wonderland has focused on their tourists long enough, and now they have to focus on the people that actually live here in Sydney. With the re-opening of Sydney's Luna Park this coming summer holidays, Wonderland might have some competition . And hopefully out of that we would see a new ride at Wonderland
  25. Happy New Year Everyone!!!!!!!!! Well since this is a brand new year full of surprises and new things, hopefully Wonderland would surprise us with a brand new ride (or two ) Well lets just hope for all the best.
