I would just like to add that both the take 1 shop and the superman shop on main street are closed all day every day till peak time and if those wanting something from the superman shop are referred to the superman escape photo shop. As for the Marvin the martin rocket it is very much the same case as the Eureka Mountain Mine Ride (but we know why it is down now but didn't for a while) no one knows why the attraction is still down even maintenance is unsure of the actual reason as to why the attraction isn't going it did work back about a month ago but stopped again the entire ride has been pulled to bits and has been look inside and out but there still unsure as to why. The ride hasn't been touched or looked at for the past 3 weeks and i highly doubt it will be in the near and coming months as we may be seeing a replacement attraction.

No there are two guys from PASS returning both Gavin and Cameron they are drivers. Also i'm good friends with Robyn and she has been offered a contract that will start in february and she was one of the most recent cast of PASS. Also Ian mentioned earlier about Cameron coming back.

I'd help you out here Doc brown but there is probably no real point. I did the same thing as Gazza sent you a PM giving you help and advice and you choose to ignore us both. Your not going to be very well liked if your gonna go and send out blunt opinions like Movieworld sucks its ****, this site is here to promote those who like theme parks so its probably not going to go down to well is it. Its just like me saying theme parks suck they are a waste of space in our country, I'm sure that would kick up a stink and everyone would have a go at me. Your how old 15 maybe older, probably show a little maturity and stop calling people names might be a good start your not going to find your self attacked at if you stop being rude, people aren't going to have a go at you for liking old movie world attractions if you don't be rude to others everyone is going to find as many things to hit you with because they want to shut you down until you learn to show a bit of decency on the forums it clearly annoys people when you be rude to there friends. Its just like me and my spelling i took there advice and well i have no problems, in my prospective i have gained respect from those on the site now am i right??????????????

As mentioned back a while ago a wooden roller coaster has been on the topic a far bit for Movie World as something else to attract people to the wild west area. With the room up there available i recon we will see one appear in time to come. It has been a hot topic plus it ties in for some potentially great themeing.

Sonic123488 i think you will find if you read the post's properly jayw is referring to the music on scooby as we have been talking about lately. Plus i would like to add a well done to Ryan and the crew from repeat offender who played on the 3 nights great job guys (Ryan is a entertainer at Movie World well known for being a very good Austin) I don't know about anyone else but i hadn't heard them play before but iv been told about them, but they were really good and it created a great atmosphere on the night. Anyway back on topic. ok im disgard the first part of the post as two people already beat me to it and i didnt realise there was a third page. sorry.

I'd just like to add that all the vehicles for the show have arrived and have been on site for a couple of months now maybe even more. But progress has been moving along very well. All acting role rehearsals have been going now for about a month. 3 weeks before the show makes its debut the actors and stunt drivers will get that time to have day to day practice before opening, during that time a lot of promo videos, picture shots and commercials are going to be shot ready for the major publicity that will be happening to promote the new show. The show costing 10million i can assure you there will be a lot of advertisement.

Marvin the martin back in the day was a really good old Movie World attraction that would most times have a full showing. The same building and show layout exists you would go in to first room like you do in shrek and you would watch a movie on 3 different TV monitors which showed you how 3D worked after that you would then enter the cinema. Normal style seating as you would see in any cinema was installed. Water effects from Daffy's spiting while talking came from the sprinklers above. The plot to the film was pretty much as Original explained. I remember when i was younger with my family i video the movie and took the glasses home to see if it would work mind you i was like 8. I still have the copy. But i disagree with you Doc brown in the fact shrek is much better than Marvin could have ever been. Its like said before a universal attraction cloned to suit our venue it is a very good show mind you it most times will have a full showing due to the excellent timing of other shows in main street that finish just as shrek starts guests find that to be perfect timing.

The old movieworld site had a History section and they had plenty of shots on that page of construction of the park and rides including lethal weapon i used to have them but i don't anymore. Send guest services a email about the photos that were on the old site and I'm sure they will send you a copy.

Hm mm depends on 1) How prepared they are as in are they going to start right away tomorrow or are they going to start prep tomorrow, and 2) depending on how much work they are going to do. fixing it back to its normal glory could take a bit. I would have to say though there has been some changes like the red down lights that have been put in on some of the dark ride section. Oh anyone agree about the music sounding bad at the moment. It is really muffled.

It says "Bad nurse" it is indicated to the nurse that you can see on the far right that has been hung.

I had also heard a very similar thing as to Djrappa but i wasn't sure if it was true or not as scooby hasn't got any longer period's of maintenance scheduled yet. But I'm guessing other people have been told a similar thing so something must be happening. I see the last laser drop which we all complain about has been in full light lately so you can see it clear as day. So i presume there might be some work happening there during this months down time.

Alright to sum up Halloween last night excellent event best one yet, the new maze this year is a disappointer it is designed for kids with no live actors, and the zombie laser hut will set you back 5 bucks for ten Min's. For opening night the ques were pretty short longest was superman 30 min wait in saying that there was only half the amount there is going to be on Friday. The roof could have been better in some areas but looked really good up the plaza end. They had a band also which created a great atmosphere and finally the fright zone scared the sh#t out of me!!! Wild West closed at 7:30 guests were told it was because it was to quite, that was wrong. the ride closed early as large half of the large lights that were hired for the event did not turn up which left those few that did took a spot in the car park and for when everyone exited the night leaving no light for operators to see on the monitors. Apart from that excellent night iv got some pictures from earlier in the night and before the event i will put on the site.

ALL rides and attractions will be open for the 3 nights including Wild West Falls, also those thinking of rocking up tonight and purchasing a ticket it is probably not a wise idea as numbers a very high and chances are will be sold out at lunch time. But as said above the 2nd night isn't as high but i would pre purchase in order to get your ticket. The night its self from what iv seen yesterday and been told it looks like its going to be a very very good event something I'm sure most people on the site will rave about.

After being spoken about yesterday it has been put out late yesterday afternoon that FRIDAY 31ST OCTOBER IS NOW SOLD OUT! And there are limited tickets remaining for the first two nights and they ask all those who are genuinely interested in going to please call myfun TODAY to make last minute bookings on 133 386 The nights attraction list is: Superman escape (if not wet) Lethal weapon Batwing Batman the adventure ride 2 Scooby Doo spooky coaster Shrek 4D Fright Zone Scary Maze Zombie laser hunt Wild West Falls (is and will be decided tomorrow morning as to weather the attraction is going to be open on the night) If anyone has any further enquires for the 3 nights don't hesitate to send me a PM ill be happy to answer them.

Gazza is probably right in the fact they will just enthusiastically encourage you to buy them so they get sales its the same as and business they will always try and up sale something maccas for instance will always put in a large meal if someone ask for one without be specific as to what size. Correct me here if I'm wrong but i think what Gazza is getting at which he is right if so, the sales rep isn't going to know exact numbers at the time, the ticket sales system which is used (which is very similar to the one used on the site) will just tell the sales rep that the night is full or unavailable they are not going to know if there is two tickets left or not. That way say a person says i would like to book 7 tickets for the 31st it will come up and say that due amount is unavailable were as say it was 3 they may have enough spaces. Which if that ends up being the last tickets in the next booking that date will then not be available for them to access same as on the net it wont let year access a date if it is full as you probably already know.

For all those wondering i found out today that ticket sales for the first two nights have not been huge and ticket boths will be open for the first to nights ONLY, The last night which is acctually halloween isn't as of yet sold out but very close to it so they anticipate there to be no tickets left for the last night. In saying that i said before that leaflets are being handed out at major shows and after the star parade to promote the night more which is proving to be a good job as the upgrade booth gets a slight line up at closing for those buying tickets. My advice would be decide Quickly and pre purchase a lot of guests will realise on the day after being to the park that it is on that night and they will want to go seeing they are already there this happens every year, one day last year this happen resulting in a sold out night.

I would assume you should be able to but get there early probably my best bet for you would be give them a call on my fun in the morning go all the way through to ticket sales and ask them if any will be available they should be then able to tell you if there is heaps or not as far as i know no nights as of yet are not sold out but they have been giving out leaflets in the park and people have been purchasing them at the upgrade booth.

OK Doc Brown LISTEN TO ME VERY CARFULLY. firstly thank you very much donjailn La for the complement i try my best and the joke after that i laughed Doc brown i used to be the one you are currently turning into now and very fast, the one they will pick on for every little thing and don't go and say it's not your fault they will only do i if needed. I have some points for you. 1)Read the Community Guidelines very well because that for a start will help you out. 2) calling people a "Dumb ass" in another post will 1. shows you didn't read the community guidelines, 2.your being a hypocrite saying before you guys are making fun of me your making fun of someone by calling them a Dumb ass and 3. you are gonna loose peoples respect on here very fast. 3)This has all happened because you didn't watch what you said to begin with you asked what rides and attractions would be open on the night, then you end up being the one telling us "the wild wild west adventure ride will definitely be open" if you already know why ask???? Plus i went and told all those on here what was open plus others said the same thing in total backing me up then you turn around saying a statement in which you have nothing to back you up. I'm sure you are gonna maybe firstly listen to someone who for one works at Movie World and for one who is helping out for the night maybe, and you can't say you didn't know that because its been spoken about on this forum. Doc Brown I'm not having ago at you i used to be the one who was always attacked at, I made a HUGH mistake when i first came on here tying to prove everyone i was right they were wrong they didn't know anything about me or who i was then i made a stupid move to try and prove myself right which in fact made it worse. In my opinion now after listening to these guys who have been on here so much longer than you i have gained a lot of respect now from taking in these tips they have given me, they will give you feed back along the way and you just need to try and listen to them, i get feed back all the time i got one on this forum just before. You may have started off badly but there is nothing saying that we and you can't fix that, don't bit back that will make things worse trust me take it all on board.
