Theme Park & Other Inspired Forza Motorsport 4 Cars
MaxxTheMonster replied to MaxxTheMonster's topic in Gaming
You use simple shapes and mix them together to make whatever it is you need. A good example is the castrol logo. Started with a green circle, placed a couple of white rectangles on it to make the L shape and then a fading flag image in red. The 18 is made up of three rectangles (for the 1) and then 7 rectangles and 2 semi circles (for the 8). You can resize, spin and skew shapes, and can also create them in a larger image, save it as a decal and then place it in and size it as needed. -
Theme Park & Other Inspired Forza Motorsport 4 Cars

Yeah so much more customizing available in 4. Love the Policia as well. I'm working on one of those next. QLD Highway Patrol is completed. Before anyone says anything, I know there are no lights, as there are none available, the front spoiler is a bit different (but I personally think it looks better), and the motto "with honour we serve" is not on the logo. The logo is not quite complete but as is took 669 decals just on one logo. Total time spent on design was 7 hours. Of that, four and a half were on the logo alone. -
So I know it isn't a theme park based game, but I bought Forza Motorsport 4 last week and have been playing it like a mad man. As a reward for levelling I got a choice of cars and there was an evoX. I figured I would have some fun and do it up as a replica of the HWSD hero car. The Castrol Edge, racing number, Team Italy and Mitsubishi Motors badges all had to be custom made from scratch. Total time spent on design was 4 hours. Interested to see what the parkz community thinks. I'm currently working on a replica of a red Queensland highway patrol car (minus lights). What other theme park or movie based cars would you like to see?

Your Funniest or Most Interesting Experiences at the Parks
MaxxTheMonster replied to mba2012's topic in Theme Park Discussion
During PASS if Robyn was playing Knopinski my name would always be mentioned at some stage during the show. Dianne once complained she didn't want to be Proctor while I was chatting to her during morning photo ops and said to me "You know the script don't you?" So I started up the Captain Harris lines and we spoke out all of the Proctor and Captain Harris dialogue. I learnt how to make balloon animals from "Mad Mike" Bennett. A long time back staff in the Dirty Harry Bar who I knew, but will not mention, pointed out while serving us that if we don't receive a receipt that if we point it out we get a full refund. They would then not give us a receipt, we would point it out and get our money back. Or whenever they changed the nacho bases we would get one free each (all four of us) and be asked for feedback. Around the same time we would get free refills on our drinks and popcorn. I also remember one instance where Tweety and Taz had an impromptu wrestling match at the top of Main Street and Foghorn Leghorn counted the pin but Taz. Ah, back when the staff obviously loved what they did and didn't see it as just an income... -
Haven't been on it at all and although yes I understand the wearing in period I don't remember SDSC even being this bad after its "official opening" date. Definately think I will be waiting until a few months after our new arrival so we can do character photos and the family type thing. Meaning we won't be there until September so hopefully all the kinks will have been sorted.

Dose Road Runner Roller Coaster need a make over ?
MaxxTheMonster replied to Jacko's topic in Theme Park Discussion
The query was, "I thought you were leaving." His response was, "yess i'm thanks to you alex" If we look closer and add some punctuation, "Yes, I'm (I am), thanks to you Alex." What he said was right. Just a little to interpret. -
Dose Road Runner Roller Coaster need a make over ?
MaxxTheMonster replied to Jacko's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Jacko, topics like this one could simply go in the random thread. As mentioned above it isn't really a topic that requires or will get a lot of comments regarding a ride looking a little worn. -
I agree GoGo. I grew up with rides like these and they help fill the variety in the parkz. The backwards section of BT and the lift in LTRR really made these rides stand out. Being a country that frequently has temperatures over 30 degrees the parkz really need a simple indoor river ride for people to get out of the heat while still enjoying rides.

"Blacking out" usually requires some sort of circulatory inadequacy. I know in my case I have high blood pressure. Each element I black out on has increased G-force and as such my blood pressure drops suddenly causing said circulatory inadequacy.

I black out on Superman back carriage just after the first turn and usually come back around just after going through the building, Lethal Weapon going into the half loop front row only and come to during the camel back after the twists, Cyclone (front carriage) going into the half loop and come to during the braking section. I also used to black out on the Thunderbolt coming out of the second loop. Cant go on the Reef Diver or whatever they call it now. Blacked out once and didn't come to quickly so they had to e-stop the ride and I came to as we were almost fully lowered. Can't do The Claw for a similar reason.

I personally love the fact he named it "best rides OR worst rides" and then lists both. -

I remember going on this when I was little. Worst 1) Batwing Spaceshot 2) TOT 3) Cyclone 4) Seaviper (Corkscrew was alright though) 5) Leathal Weapon -
Wonder if the real reason for the rash vests is the number of people that end up with scratches, cuts and scrapes on their back and backside?

I was thinking this exact thing the other day reading this thread.

In saying what I did above about weekends being quieter. It would seem I am heading to MW this coming Wednesday. Then again, being school holidays I doubt there will be much different either way.

Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster Outside Music
MaxxTheMonster replied to Spencer's topic in Theme Park Discussion
We know that is the interior music for the wild mouse section of the ride. He is enquiring about the music that plays outside the building for ambiance. -
If I am 100% honest, I have always found that weekends are quieter and you can get more done. This was usually confirmed by staff when I saw the daily park attendance info for the week at 5 - 7 thousand and weekends at 3 - 4 thousand. I would dare say the VIP passes have altered this fact but this was pre passes.

Yeah TOT was scary... Apparently there was a power outage as we returned to the station. We hit block brakes about 5 metres behind the station. They then run an extension lead to power the harnesses to release you and walk you out. Was enough to put me off doing it again. TOT mislaunch, for some reason it didn't launch properly and slowly rolled out the end of the tunnel (original TOT) MDMC mislaunch, launch kicked in and train slipped on launch as it had been raining. We were stopped immediately and brought back to the station to try again.
