Sorry late reply. They arent building the wave pool where the Thunderbolt it, its going out the front very close to the service road. I can see the hole shaped like a pool and its a little smaller than the one at wet n wild from what i could see. The footers getting build around the helix will accomadate some slides that will wind around and in and out the loop and around Cyclone. There also building the foundation for the flow Rider at the moment.. Car park is better now and most of it is open but a little is still under construction... some pics

If anyone who has been to Surfers Paradise would know they have time zone (funtasia years ago) And there are lots of games and dodgems and putt putt ect.. Well they have now added 2 new 4D shows simulators. They come from america and look pretty good. They open soon I think.

Hey guys Umm some info on the new Attraction, I heard it was going to open this year for Christmas or some what around it. There in the process of choosing a suitable theme and size of the attraction at the moment. I do know it will be similar to Giant drop but will not have the lift up and also have 4 G's. It’s going to be also placed near Superman and Lethal Weapon. Information is from sources at Movieworld.

I heard that on the Radio today. Sounds kool. They said they were happy with the quality of Warner Bros filming backlots.... They need more movies to be filmed here, I dont think there are any getting done at the moment, the last was superman and Aqua Marine I think.

Now I have some news about some slides and attractions that will be opening in the waterpark. There will be a wave pool about the same size as Wet N Wild. Water slides will be passing through the loop in Cyclone. Most of the rides are new to the Southern Hemisphere and never seen here before. Some are coming from a Japanese company.

I was thinking more of Splash Harbour. I think it sounds great, Another one could be Wet Dreams...ha ha too naughty.

Flowrider is Opening In June. It will be a larger Sized flowrider to deal with large crowds and busy times. Its all Settled and final and we will see it open mid June.

I remember going to the Six Flags magic Mountain and next door the water park had one, it was MASSIZE, and i think its gonna be the same size here, well i am pretty sure. I will keep an eye out to see what goes on in the next couple of weeks.. Also guys the Outback show was just on when i drove past, full car park and its got good lighting everyone so you cant miss it from the highway. Matt

Hey Guys I had seen the construction the other day when I was on Black Hole, and you can see them digging out the area for the Tornado. Also the slide peices are in a huge shipment container on the side. Here is a Map for clone_tk422 and others. I will try and get some pictures when im there next.

I just got back from there and alot of construction going on, i wanted to go on the big tower look out thing but it was closed and the walk up the mountain to get to superman is bloody a mission, ha ha they need to reopen that little cart trolley thing that took you up and down.....

The ride Opens september i think 2006....i have the new park map and it has like the lay out with pics and that, its brand new too, not second hand.

I spoke to some people at Dreamworld Recently and they told me the Waterpark will consist of a Wave pool and next to it a wave making machine to create fake waves for surfing or body boarding. They also told me that most of the slides are new designs that havent been in Australia and some are from a Japanese company. Not sure if thats true or anything but im sure we will see soon what will be annouced in the park.

I seen Flashback when I was recently at SFMM, it looked rundown from what i could see, like the area around it was all trashy and was a area to dump stuff like benches and I seen some trash cans. I really wanted to go on flashback when I was there, oh well.

Hey guys Yeah Twister was redone and restored when they built that speed coaster where the speed slides use to be, as far as i remember. They did use to be darker, like a black color, now they are green/blueish.... Im there frequently, so any questions ask me. Matt

A Rumours has it that dreamworld is getting a Fast pass System Similar to the Disney Version, brought in before the busy Christmas season this year.

I Personally dont think its a good idea.....there is only one place for it in Australia...and thats the Gold Coast, we have perfect weather.... Its Tourist Central......and there are many areas around the place where they could develope it. Land at the moment is Expensive if you plan to buy close to the water...like surfers, broadbeach way...but heading out towards dreamworld/movieworld...its fine and a good location....we will find out soon where it will be I dont think they need any more in Asia, not being rude, its just we dont have any "Disney themeparks" down this way......

Dreamworld has taken the old shooting arcade down, and have moved it to Gold rush country...its oppisite the River Rapid ride, its brand new with 2 Computer screens in each corner.... Cans that fly when u hit them (laser) moving and talking stuff...its for 4 players....not sure when it opens, its just getting the final touches... Also they have paved the Area where the major store is infront of the Claw....its all paved ect...

Why Would Disney Choose Sydney Over Queenslands Gold Coast....? There is So many more tourist here and its close to Brisbane. With the "Blacktown" site.....thats a long way out from Sydney CBD...... I understand there are other parks up here, but look at Disney in Cali...its got Knotts next to it and Six flags ect... Seriously they should be looking here again...NOT SYDNEY :mad:

undefinedundefinedThe claw was awesome! I first walked in and lined up in the cue, where there were not that many people, just fellow staff. While the ride is in action there are cameras watching it from the top of the Mine Ride, and the painted wall in front of it, you can watch it on moniters while you wait. You then go through the gates and you can put your items in little red boxes, and take a seat. The has to be pulled down yourself and put the belt it. Then the floorsinks down and it starts to spin and swing little by little untill next minute your up in the air upside down at some point...... :eek: ITS SUCH a Heart Rasing ride :eek: ....makes you feel like you going to fly off....then it suddently goes back to the exact area it started from, and the floor then goes back to place. :eek: :eek:

I went on the CLAW twice just 20 mins ago! its awesome! It reaches really good speeds and goes higher than i thought! I advise any one to ride it! ITS AWESOME! B105 winners arent the first in the world......we were....! _________________ AbErCrOmBiE Matt
