How you reached this conclusion I have no idea. The fundamental principal behind digital electronics is the sending of pulses down a wire (i.e. 'yes' and 'no' commands)... I quote answers.com - "A digital system is one that uses discrete values rather than a continuous spectrum of values". And as is quite obvious now, the discrete values are yes/no, on/off, 1/0 etc.

Guess what guys? The holograms are BACK! The one before the backwards drop and the one halfway up the final lift hill are now operating again. Now all they need to do is fix up the room at the very top and it will be a great ride. http://dreamnova.com/adam/archives/2005/05...west_falls.html

Yeah the area between Movie World and Wet 'n' Wild is for the new 'Australian Outback Spectacular' attraction. -
DL 50th Celebration pics now up on getty images.

Thanks for the update. An Australian park sure would be awesome - at least Disney has denied claims that they are looking for land in India. The eighteen month Disney celebration is going to be huge! -
Paul, you could wait for Lisa to reply in another hour or so, or you could try a Google Search.... http://www.cerious.com/

Thanks for the link scott. Very interesting, looks as if they did all of Main Street and Looney Tunes.

Alex if you actually took the time to read this thread (which you even posted in) you will note that non-subscribers have full access to all photo galleries. Simple, if you don't want to submit the photos to Roller-Coaster.com.au then don't...

This is the wrong thread to be talking about the new Wet 'n' Wild but, yes, it is still going to be built. The location is yet to be disclosed.

Not much has happened yet. I expect sometime in June or July big changes will start to take place. -
Any one going to Screamworld next month?
Adam replied to dreamworld_rulz's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Hey guys, Incase you don't already know, the DreamNova team are organising a meet up at the next Screamworld event on the 21st May which can be found here. If you have a quick surf around those forums too, you can find a thread and photos from the last event. Good to hear you had fun at the last Screamworld. -
Keep an eye on RCDB as I'm sure any public information will be posted there.

SMH Article today -Disney looking at western suburbs...

Nah, don't think we will until later in this year either. Keep a look out on Google News. -
Sorry, I don't understand your question Mark. Please elaborate...

I think you guys will have a different view when you actually visit the park. Yet... I may be wrong. Just wondering, who here has been to the park and still doesn't like the screen?
-
Guys, I think most of you know by now that the ride is going to have inversions. We should be trying to figure out which inversions the ride will have. Nice description joz.

I would start a new thread, in the Sea World forum, if you want to talk about Bermuda. I haven't been to Movie World for a few weeks now, has anything happened at the Superman site?

The Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster has two cinema screens located in each corner of the main queuing room (which is themed to a huge castle hall) that you can watch as you wind through the queue. Attached is a picture of the room, it shows only one half of the room - the picture was taken near the exit hallway that leads to the boarding station. Good to see it's your favourite ride Matty
-
Nope. What rides are everyone else making?
-
I'm all for the idea. I'm using RCT3 so I'll just send you my awesome ride when you want it
-
It is no longer a requirement to watch the Lethal Weapon or Wild West Falls pre-ride entertainment video before you board the ride. With Lethal Weapon you just walk through the "cinema" room and onto the ride. The Wild West Falls video screen has been removed (not sure when this happened but it may have been after the re-branding process). I think the pre-ride entertainment on Superman Escape will be similar to Scooby-Doo. It will have something to entertain you but you are not forced to watch it. Can't wait to see the dark ride section.

If you join the Movie World VIP Club (all you have to do is supply your email address) then you get discounts on food/merchandise stores.

Whats your favorite show ride or your worst ride?
Adam replied to Katz's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Favourite Ride Scooby-Doo Spooky Coaster at Warner Bros. Movie World Why? The awesome story and themeing mixed with excellent ride experience, special effects and animatronics makes this Australia’s best ride! Least Favourite Ride The Simulator at Aussie World Why? Simulating a water ride at Wet 'n' Wild is boring... -
Thanks for letting me know teki. It has now been fixed.
-
Are you sure you're not just making it up like this post? I doubt the Movie World Customer Relations department would release information on forthcoming attractions.
-
Nope... I'm going to Dreamworld soon though.
