Last year I visited Movieworld two times, Wet n Wild once and Dreamworld twice. So far this year I've visited Movieworld twice, Seaworld once and Dreamworld once. I'm planning to visit Movieworld and Wet n Wild later this year and maybe Dreamworld again.

I think Wild West Falls is a must ride due to it's awesome theming and long ride time. Try sitting in the front two rows if you don't want to get wet. I sat at the front and came off only a bit wet, while the people in the back row were completely saturated.
-
Since being "transformed" to Arkham Asylum it's much smoother due to the new trains.
-
When I went to ride GL the week it opened I queued an hour in line while it continuously broke down every five minutes, which meant only 1/5 cars they ran through had people on it, the rest were test cars. We got to the point of the queue right under Parallax and after another half hour were informed the ride wouldn't open for the rest of the day.

Superman Escape is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the best thrill ride in the park. By far.

"Australia's first slide with three person rafts" Shit guys, better get down to Wet N Wild to ride Australia's first slide with three person rafts!
-
I'm pretty sure the other construction sites are for different projects. I doubt the water coaster will be big enough to spread that far across the park lol. But I'll admit it'd be pretty awesome if it did.
-
Wait, what? Is that three construction sites now?
-
It was a reference to a different thread.

I really hope Movieworld gets some non DC rides soon. Unfortunately, there aren't many recent or successful WB films that would be good themes for rides.

Possible New Coaster for Luna Park Melbourne?

It'd be cool if it was bought and given new Vekoma trains, but it's pretty old isn't it? Its reliability wouldn't be the best and its probably reaching the end of its life. It'd probably cost a fortune to keep it maintained. -
Looks like Cedar Point accidentally leaked their webpage for their 2013 coaster for a few minutes, but that was more than enough time for the pics to be all over TPR! SPOILERS ALERT FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO WAIT FOR THE OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT Cedar Point are getting a new wing rider, just as everyone guessed, named Gatekeeper. I must say, the layout looks AWESOME! I loved the Swarm at Thorpe Park, so I bet I'll love this even more. It's like every wing rider B&M have made so far combined into one awesome coaster!

Possible New Coaster for Luna Park Melbourne?

Its quite sad looking at that video. Back in the day LPM would've been the number one spot for families to visit for rides etc, and it would've been heaving with families, just like the original Coney Island. But now, seaside parks have had a shadow cast over them by corporate parks, and LPM has really gone to shit. :/ -

I sort of gave up on this thread when I realised I was just speculating and getting over-excited before anything was even announced. -
I agree the highlights of the layout are the first drop and twisted banked turn thing, but I still greatly appreciate the double barrel roll and think it will definitely add something to the ride.
-
Doing a barrel roll on a woodie will be a pretty unique experience, especially with only lap bars. Not to mention the insane head choppers it'll deliver.
-
Yet there are asshole enthusiasts out there who claim the layout is "boring" and " doesn't do much". WTF are they smoking? This coaster has one of the most insane layouts I've ever seen!
-
^ Plus a B&M and an Intamin woodie for Movieworld
-
That's the Mack Supersplash. I'm reluctant to even call them coasters. I hope Seaworld gets a full sized water coaster and not one of these Supersplashes.
-
Damn, that's the slide I had pictured in my head when I heard the description. I just wasn't sure where I'd seen it. But I agree that's almost definitely the type of slide it'll be, especially as the slide in the picture is located at Wet n' Wild Phoenix - also owned by Village Roadshow.
-
New post on Wet n Wild's page: "A trio of corkscrew turns...." Looking on Wild Water West's website, this appears to fit the description. Or maybe a Proslide Tantrum Alley? However these both fall short of the 366m statistic.
-
Sure, the storyline may be a bit tricky if you don't pay attention, but the theming is still top notch (except for the corrugated iron on the drop). If our Sea World did something half as well themed I'd be happy.
-
I'd prefer something along the lines of Seaworld Orlando's Journey to Atlantis. Amazing theming on this one! However, if Seaworld doesn't decide to enclose this water coaster, something along the lines of Poseidon at Europa Park would be nice.

Don't forget about the GCI going to California's Great America, and Storm - the Mack Megalite going to Etnaland!
