  1. I'm more looking at the detail of it this time instead of just the ideas. I can change it if people really want.
  2. Ok. Onto round 3, are same as always. Ok, your job is to finish off the DC Comics area of Movie World. You must create a new dark ride to put into the Batman building and to re-theme Lethal Weapon and China Town to an Arkham Asylum theme. You must also add extra theming to Superman Escape to make it more attractive. All this must be to the DC Comics theme. These are your requirements: [*]You can only use the room currently used up by the DC Comics area [*]You must create a dark ride [*]Your dark ride must be themed to batman [*]You must add theming such as metropolis facades to Superman Escape. [*]You must work out someway to re-theme LW and CT to Arkham Asylum.
  3. That part of China Town was out of view for me. It looks good that they are doing something. I just wondering how they are going to redo china town in just under 2 months?
  4. Round three coming tomorrow! It's going to be a big round!
  5. Well I must not have been able to see that one. Can you post the picture?
  6. Well the facades haven't been taken down so it is still china town in there.
  7. Just went to Movie World and there seems to be no action at the park in the construction zones. China Town has yet to be pulled down by the looks of it. There is a couple of trucks down the side of the building and there are many large bins and shipping containers around the back of the building. Can't see anymore. Does anyone know what is going to replace it?
  8. Well the new theme sounds good. I wonder what China Towns going to look like in its new theme.
  9. I don't know. It was just in the brief description given to you by google.
  10. Th 10,00 was just a cost I found in the industry so I have no idea what part of the industry it is from.
  11. It really depends on how big the land is, how big you want the park and who you employ to do the study. For a theme park it may cost a fair amount as they are generally very large and complex. I have seen the possible price of 10,000 dollars. It also depends on the location as if the location is not in a very populated area or near a very populated area it would be no use. I hope that helped.
  12. Sorry. I thought that near map had updated but looking at it they image is from july last year! But it wasn't there in november. I wonder what movie world are up to?!
  13. I'm busy with school this week so I'll get onto it on the weekend. I am planing it though. Whatever it is it will be fun.
  14. I hope they come up with a good ride for their 21st birthday! It would be awesome if they added a new dark ride! Are they removing the entire building or just the inside as that may give us more of an insight into what may replace it.
  15. That would be an awesome idea. I like MikeMacs idea of a mini grand canyon.
  16. I'm probably going there next later this year so thanks gazza for telling me all about it.
  17. Sounds and looks pretty awesome.
  18. Ok. I'll accept MikeMacs entry. You can now vote for your favourite entry. So just post for who you want. The entries are; MikeMac, themeparkgc, Thrillrulz or mba2012. My vote goes for MikeMac. Mike what program do you use to make your entries?
  19. you vote from tomorrow onwards. Ok. I finished this about five minutes ago. It is all in the pdf doc. Wild West ext.pdf Edit: It may be a long download. voting on this thread from tomorrow morning.
  20. Sorry, I haven't been on it yet as my sister is too small. She is tall enough but not wide enough. We were in the seats with the harness's on and then the attendant came along and said the harness did not fit so everyones harness in every car in the station had to go up so we could get off. *embarrassed*
  21. Why did we start arguing about what is considered a theme park?
  22. I was just watching the video of testing on page 29 of this thread and I was thinking why can't they have the car stop at the top of the drop for a couple of sends then let it fall. It would be like a B&M dive coaster. Surely that would add to the thrill of the ride?
  23. Ok, back on topic. Has there been anymore action at the parks concerning these rides?
