Saw them doing the netting as I was pulling into work, you can barely see the netting with this one (this was best picture I could get when I was coming in, don’t have my camera on me) Theres a forklift on site with them installing one of the nets rn

Courier Mail was given to exclusive access to see the new cubs (following information taken from Courier Mail) - Another litter of twin girls - Both weigh 1.50kg atm, expected to fully reach 150kg - Will be on public display in a fortnight’s time (I’m gonna guess you will be able to see them in the Up Close enclosure as TCK is gone)

  11. Play School Wheel announced - Dreamworld

Seeing I didn't get the time to share these yesterday, I will share them now Much better look at the control booth I believe it's already been mentioned on here (if it has I apologise) the ride manual confirms that Zamperla is responsible for the ride Seat belts are installed on the ride ( most likely an world first safety feature that DW has included) I feel like there should be placed here smacked right in the middle even if it's just a sign saying Play School or Play School Wheel, I do hope they do something with that but seeing how 'unique' this ride to other ones installed I'm gonna say they are gonna leave it blank And seeing that the fences are down, here's some up close shots of the ride
  12. Play School Wheel announced - Dreamworld

I think I need to improve on my sarcasm a lot more better..
  13. Dreamworld - 2017 Log Ride reopening

Some points from today's experince - Getting into and getting out of the logs was so much easier than I thought it would (This is coming from someone who is around 6ft 2 btw) - The cage do shake/rattle a lot during the duration of the ride, I would say the worst of the rattling occurs when you are coming back to the station - Ride does feel slightly underwhelming now as the cave has been removed but I understand why it had to be removed, it gives off the same vibe as Vikings did when it had it's course changed making it bland. I'm hoping the vegetation around that area grows pretty quickly - Dispatches are very slow at the moment, only the right side is working atm. One boat did go through the left side of the station but staff were not allowing anyone using that side at all - Queues were reaching up to this point today Now to wrap my experience on RHLR. Here's a few photos of the ride in action

  20. Theme Park Maintenance Schedules 2018

It wasn’t planned from what I’m aware of but the maintenance page just claims it’s only down for today
  21. Dreamworld - 2017 "exciting" "experiences"

Regrading towards if DW needs to build a roller coaster to compete with Rivals.. I personally think that DW going through the family market at the moment is a great idea imo Personally as much some people would like to see some friendly competition between DW and MW with thrills. I don’t want to see DW following MW’s shoes, I would like to see DW be diverse with their offering/attractions as possible than what MW have been in recent years as MW doesn’t appear to be showing strong interest with the family market atm. Sure, people these days are always looking for the biggest thrills but I feel like with the success that Rivals has brought, I think it’s safe to say we don’t really need to see any “major thrill ride” for maybe 5-10 years I personally think the I-Ride theatre will be a success for the park, the concept of it is fantastic and I strongly believe if they continue to build attractions that can appeal to everyone like this then my faith in the park will be skyrocketing through the roof.
