  1. Two people on my tour had won their tickets. They didn't check the tickets, just handed out the name badges to check that we were all there.
  2. Anyone want to take a shot at what they mean by "watch out for that second revolution"? Increased speed? Or perhaps it'll hold you upside down for a moment?
  3. I was hooked until that last bit. That would just be painful.
  4. Guess that's the school holidays for you...
  5. You are the real Supervillain of the area for hiding there in ambush for any unsuspecting members of the GP ?
  6. I'm expecting probably a mix between the two. Some great theming but maybe not on the same level as the DC Villains area.
  7. For me, I'm not sure what I'd prefer. Trims would mean the ride is never interrupted, but a midcourse and no trims would lead to better airtime.
  8. That would be awful! But yeah, don't do it if you don't have a strong stomach. It wasn't nauseating for me but it definitely takes you a moment to get your balance once you've stood up.
  9. Wow, the photos you posted looked way higher quality than what I've tried to get - of course my camera is probably not nearly as good as your's.
  10. Did you guys get electronic versions of the photos they took? Tried scanning mine and haha no that's not going to work, the quality is awful.
  11. I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to tell you but the underground tunnel is still there.
  12. Yep, you get one free use of VR too. Batwing also doesn't have fast track, if the queue's long splitting up your group and using the single rider queue can speed things up a lot.
  13. MW's unlimited fast track is great value, you'll get on within 5 minutes of arriving for all rides, if not straight on (Doomsday, GL, and JL were basically putting the fast-track-ers straight on when I used it on Saturday). Dreamworld's is quite overpriced, and generally it's queues are shorter than MW's overall so you could maybe do without - just make sure you get Buzzsaw and ToT done early because they generally attract longer queues.
  14. No the $5 fee is already in effect, but I noticed quite a few people were wanting to try it so maybe 1/3 of the train? Well for me, you start loosing grips on reality and start feeling very sleepy since you've basically got no natural light and just a screen. I hadn't got much sleep the night before though so that might be why. I had to pull of the headset for a moment just to check that I was still on Earth
  15. And kinda embarrassing for those who were so set on it being a hyper/launch.
  16. This is why I haven't posted my photos. Only one I have that's slightly different is this one as it's got a worker doing some final touches to Ivy in the corner (wasn't initially my intention to get him in the shot so that's why he's only half-visible), although the sunlight absolutely destroys the upper half.
  17. ^this It's really amazing seeing how fast everything happens and how complicated it all is. It is quite literally an octopus as they described it yesterday.
  18. One other thing I forgot to mention - the VR really distracts you from the leg-crushing which is great.
  19. Most likely Poison Ivy, she looks really good and I also like how there are two different outcomes from her interactive element.
  20. Pallarax is really the only thing in the area that is underwhelming... might've been easier to leave him out and keep Sinestro by himself because all he looks like is an oversized bug.
  21. One thing that made me laugh was the positioning of the speakers on the female JL animatronics... ahahaha.
