  1. According to the parks website, the whole area has a moderate thrill level. But they also classify Castaway Bay as having a moderate thrill level. And they advertise Storm has a family coaster, but that has a max thrill. So really, who knows what it is...
  2. The track repaint is nearly complete, so I definitely think this will be the outcome
  3. They now aren’t even showing the full version of the Seal Guardians show
  4. Great to see they’re actually doing construction updates. A rare thing from our parks. But geeez, what a bold statement to say it’s the best family coaster in the world. VRTP really like to over promise with their statements about next rides
  5. For me it’s definitely Bermuda and Looney Tunes River Rapid. I went on both of these as a kid when they were in their prime and loved them. If they were still at the parks today, I would probably try to ride them on every visit.
  6. And if we did get one, it would be at the scale (if not smaller) than the Hong Kong one. And people here would not be impressed by a ‘small’ Disney park. Especially when the general public only ever see the American ones in the spot light
  7. @Brad2912 it definitely is a shame, but it’s not a surprise because the train is running until further notice
  8. The event is back again, but this year it’s only on for two nights (so far). But so far it seems Lomé the event will be very much the same as last year https://www.dreamworld.com.au/what-s-on/happy-halloween/
  9. There is some construction work happening on WWF entrance (Photo from TPSN)
  10. There are a few attractions that have been SBNO for sometime, but they never actually officially confirmed their closures
  11. The model is probably the most accurate representation of the track layout we have so far. Unless someone has managed to find the plans for it
  12. I’ve had confirmation which two rides are closing. I know we hate it when people say they know stuff, but then don’t say. But I will say, one of them is the obvious one and the other is nothing to worry about. It’s not any of the major rides/slides
  13. The only ‘evidence’ is that it’s one of the oldest rides in the park, it’s under maintenance until September and Gold Coast parks don’t like log rides any more. But it would be one of my top picks for a closing ride
  14. Yep, but apparently water slides have tantrums when they aren’t turned on for a while. Same for Calypso Beach and Mammoth Falls.
  15. The whole H2O Zone is going to be closed for some time due to pump issues, so maybe it’s one of them. Jet Rescue has also been closed for some time and they are doing extensive work on the track. I really hope not, but it could be that. Or maybe even WWF
  16. There have been more staff at DW this week and I’ve seen the GD in testing
  17. Considering BuzzSaw is not even 10 years old, that’s pretty poor. I assume it comes down to poor park care/maintenance for several years leading up to 2016. While it isn’t the best, it’s an essential attraction for the park right now
  18. I’ve been told it’s related to staff training. When an attraction has been closed for so long, all necessary staff must undergo extensive retraining, but they took a while to start the training and now it’s pushed back the reopening.
  19. I was wrong, driving past today I noticed they’ve already painted quite a bit of the track around WWW
  20. Interesting that they haven’t started painting the track that goes over paths within WWW and around Temple of Huey. I’d assume it would be logical to do that before the park reopens to avoid any delays or ride closures
