  1. And part of that area also includes the FN Maze Sheds
  2. Good point. At least MW puts a decent amount of theming into the rides based around these characters
  3. Question - I know the original entrance and skull were positioned roughly where Gingys Gliders are today, but when and why was it ever moved/changed? I imagine it was due to the development of the kids area, but from photos, I much preferred it’s original positioning, unlike it’s tucked away entrance today
  4. But they don’t offer or advertise it anywhere anymore and if they want to phase it out, they aren’t going to do that
  5. I would say it’s because they are wanting to phase out those passes. DW already got rid of theirs, so there’s no reason for VRTP keeling theirs. They’ll be loosing money of them because you get access to FNs too and the premium pass costs less than a Locals One Pass. I’m predicting by the end of the financial year they’ll be gone, but will offer an special offer to change over to a One Pass
  6. So that explains what the slab is for then Great to see it is finally making a return and the park will have good extended opening hours. It was a bad idea to ever get rid of them in the first place, so to have them back is a great asset. And good to see they have also invested in some day time entertainment too. I imagine that will be on the Buggy’s area of the park
  7. But you can’t click on the name, while ever other attraction you can
  8. @Adventures With JWorld not only the dodgems, but the entire Intencity Games too. If they’ve decided to close it, maybe we could see two mazes in this building at FN? Or another attraction of some form
  9. Website is live and tickets are on sale now
  10. @AlexB the old projector booth is that white roofed building just above the zip line tower. But since they have built the roofs over the seating around the wave pool, that building can no longer be used
  11. I’ve had confirmation that dive n movies are returning and there will be a public announcement made soon
  12. Maybe the slab is for a new giant screen or projection system?
  13. So roughly the same height as Temple of Huey/Little Rippers
  14. I could see some structural columns and fencing in the carpark yet to be installed, we can expect it to have a little more height
  15. Few more tower photos. And the slide pieces are currently being accessed and prepared for installation in the carpark
  16. The monorail is closed until further notice, so I imagine this could be due to the construction of Leviathan
  17. Yes they are both launching, but use an entirely different system and technology. I don’t think you can really compare the two
  18. I would say that the park is looking the best that it has in at least 15 years. Yes there is quite a lot of areas fenced off for construction, but the ra all because big things are on the way. By 2022 this park should be looking amazing
  19. Definitely not. It’s only just enough room for a small function
  20. It’s good they are expanding the park like that, but hopefully it is something awesome because a massive slide tower right behind the wave pool could look out of place
  21. I haven’t ever been to HHN, but have watched plenty of videos/vlogs from the last couple of years. You can’t really compare them. It’s like trying to compare Disney to our parks, you just can’t do it. They have a bigger budget and greater access to IPs/characters. HHN pays way more attention to detail and has some unique ways to scare people. If FNs has a budget 5x bigger (and the right team), then it probably could be as big/good as HHN. I definitely think FN has improved these last couple of years and definitely think you should go next year (if you don’t want to get to the park early to buy a ticket in park). HHN is a fine dining restaurant, while FNs is a buffet - it has pretty much everything the big boys have, but just isn’t quite to the standard.
