  1. As I've mentioned before on here, I get scared very easily, but always find enjoyment when going to FN. Last year I did all the mazes and the WC and EW mazes were terrifying for me, and when I came out of WC I had to lay on the ground for a bit to relax. All the small details in both mazes was great and add that extra scare factor to them. Yes it would have been good to have another 2 new mazes, but at least we know that if these are of the same standard as last year, then we should have 4 great mazes, rather than just a couple. And with the extra elements they are brining in this year, i don't think it matters at all that they are bringing back mazes,
  2. ^That's exactly what I was thinking. It seems like all the rides are installed, but I would say they all/most need to be tested and all pathways need to be laid, and vegetation planted. I would say that it may be early October before it opens.
  3. I would say that they won't be using the SDSC queue space again for a maze this year, due to the issues there were last year with the queue for the maze blocking the path. Despite the overflow queue line being used, once that was full it would flow onto the pathway and block access, without cutting though it. So by using the dodgems space for a maze it should stop any issues of blocking pathways.
  4. It's been announced that it will be opening these school holidays. EDIT: Karla on SWs FB page has said it will be open in time for the holidays on the 19th.
  5. ^Thanks for clearing that up. Seriously how do you know this info?
  6. Surely it wouldn't be WC and EW again, as MW said it would be 4 new mazes
  7. MWs snap chat has confirmed that maze 2 will be in sound stage 1.
  8. I remember a few years back a friend of mine went for an interview at DW and was told that a Disneyland was in the plans, and could have an affect on the park, which may result in the people being hired to loose their jobs.
  9. According the TPSN general admission tickets will be available from tomorrow and tickets will start from $32
  10. ^I doubt it. They've only recently fixed up HSD2, and the 4D show is coming this usually just change without much notice.
  11. ^I would say from that post they meant that they are some of the dates, but more are to be announced. I read something on FB that for the people who went to the Rv commercial recording last week got a free ticket to FN on one of those nights. Id say that's where they got that information from. And yes he fountain is operating
  12. ^I would say they only installed it for the recording of the to commercial. I would say that they will put it back in place when I gets closer to FN starting.
  13. Just quickly went to MW and the car over the fountain has now been removed.
  14. ^All SW have said is that they are hoping for it to open in September.
  15. Sorry, probably the wrong choice of word. There was of the ride operator (I would say the supervisor) who was telling the other ride operators about the ride and showing them safety procedures.
  16. Currently at SW, staff are getting debriefed about the kids coaster and is being tested.
  17. ^I can't tell if you are serious or not
  18. DW posted this photo on FB saying there are a number of new project underway at the park. They are supposed to be open by September school holidays. Someone commented on the post asking about Eureka Mine Ride. And DW replied saying they have a few surprises up their sleeve.
  19. On MWs snapchat, they've added a video showing the car over the fountain, and a giant flame of fire comes out of it.
  20. Gold Coast Theme Parks posted this on FB: The first dates for this years Fright Nights at Movie World have been announced. These are the 2nd, 9th and 16th October. More dates will be announced very soon.
  21. It says in the snapchat BTS MAZE, isn't that a clue to the name of it? Edit: probably just means Behind the scenes
  22. Henry is now leaving SW The time has come to wish Henry a Bon Voyage! Having reached an age where his mother, Liya has naturally weaned him off, Henry will be moving to the Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat in Canada on the 3rd of October, to play an integral role in the International Polar Bear breeding program. This facility shares the same dedication and standards as Sea World to the conservation, care and well-being of Polar bears and is the perfect place for Henry to continue his development.
