  1. Yeah when i went to SFMM last year we made a bold decision to go the day our flight arrived in LA because it was the only time we could go. So about a few days before we left i convinced my family to go (haha best thing ive done in my life), so we pre booked and printed the tickets out online which cost about 800 all up ( including 5 platium flash passes). We ended up getting to the park at about 12:30 and left at around 5:30 and got to ride 2x Goliath 2x full throttle 2x ninja 2x riddlers revengr 1× superman 1x apocalypse 1× X2 2× canyon blaster and gold rusher ( only cause had a younger cousin) The pass was definitely worth it seeing the que times were about 45-60 minutes for goliath, riddlers revenge, superman and apocalypse. About 30 min for ninja, about 15-20 min for the 2 kids coasters, and about 90 minutes for full throttle and x2. If anyones going for the day would recommend highly.
  2. Completely missed them. I would still prefer trims over a brake run half way through tbh.
  3. Flash looks so good! The only thing i would change though is the drop, but besides that those inversions, airtime hills and smoothness look epic!!!
  4. Better then paying 600 bucks for six flags platinum pass ☺
  5. Then it could be a Floorless, winged, flying or inverted coaster?
  6. 4kms is virtually impossible for the land size and the cost! Lol it would legit cost 40 million.
  7. You know what i meant, i was referring to a small family family ride.
  8. Yep exactly what i was trying to say! Also no one wants to see a family ride when they drive in then want to see an intense coaster
  9. After watching a few YouTube videos on the construction of X2 at SSFM, Gate keeper at cedar point and fury 325 at carowinds, there is no doubt this new roller-coaster is going to be the biggest and best at the park. All the rides listed above all have the same thing in common, they were designed at the front of the park, to leave a forever lasting impact on the visitors. And trust me when I drove in to SSFM and saw X2 literally 10-15 metres away from the main road my jaw nearly fell off, it legit sent shivers down my spine. And seeing that the new ride is going to be located along the road leading into movie world it just wouldn’t make sense to build any other ride besides a massive coaster.
  10. Haha i know those feels! Arriving at 7am and heading straight to SFMM with jet lag, stavation and a massive headache. @Gazza
  11. You cant go wrong with a 60 + metre high lift hill and 70+ degreee drop.
  12. Yes as in if you modify the length of the ride it cuts off some of the cost
  13. Does anyone notice when watching rollercoaster POV's that mack and intamin carriages seem to glide faster over the track then B&M coasters? It might just be the quality of the video but I've noticed this with a majority of their rides. Its almost like the wheels aren't as close to the track as B&M which is why you hear the clicking noise opposed to a background hum.
  14. Haha if only it was that easy. I will still remain optimistic and hopeful for a ride like this @AlexB!
  15. Sorry for my inaccuracie i just had a guess of what it might come close too. However x flight at six flags was built in 2012 for 12-15 million us which is about 15-20 million aus dollars and it looks like a very solid wing coaster Height: 37 m Length : 910 m Speed : 90kmh Inversions : 5 And sure if you modify the length down to like 800 metres it could cut the cost down a couple million. Haha i know im getting technical here, but i have faith in AW and know they will keep growing and adding bomb ass rides period!!!
  16. Yeah i was young and stupid @AlexB, i remember arching my lower back and legs to have as little contact with the slide as possible to gain as much speed ahah( not a good idea). I think this put extra weight on my scapulars so as i slided over each groove it just peeled my skin off!
  17. Looking at the cost of those and similar coasters the prices vary between 16-24 million depending on the length and height of different models. My point is that over the next five years i could definitely see AW getting a new high thrill rollercoaster, and a coaster around that price range is highly achievable for AW, seeing that Abyss cost 13-14 million and since that was installed attendance has increased. But hey this is just my assumption, but knowing @Mark Shaw love for B&M coasters i could definitely see one being installed in the future.
  18. It must have been because i was really skinny back when i rode it and my position, because i had no skin left on both scapulars ans was bleeding. 100% agreed! I think they have the padding because to many people got stuck, not because of the pain.
  19. @Mark Shaw if you could get any ride/ rollercoaster for adventure world, what would it be?
  20. Broooooo if you wanna keep the skin on your back i suggest not to go on the wedgie. I remember my first time i couldnt sleep on my back for a week. @webslave
  21. You could technically add in doomsday destroyer and arkman asylum to that list! I still prefer quality over quantity You could technically add in doomsday destroyer and arkman asylum to that list! I still prefer quality over quantity HAHA soz mate but i still go to school , so im technically still a kid. Like i said this is my opinion
