@nitromefans go back about 10 or so pages, i did a much better sketch of a possible layout given the information at the time.
@Jamberoo Fan sorry mate but your 1.9km guess is way off. Realistically it would be between 1.2-1.4kms

It's been a while guys, schoolies got the better of me.
About the theming of the coaster, i highly doubt they would name/theme the new coaster towards wonder woman. Im not sexiest or anything (maybe a little ?), but it would just seem a little weird IMO if the biggest and fastest ride at the park is themed towards a female superhero. I mean i wouldn't have an issue if it was themed towards her, but i just dont see it happening. She would suit a family coaster but not Australia's first hyper.
-
The height might only be 196 feet but if the drop went underground 20-30 feet it's actually drop height would be 216-226 feet, which is considered a tall hyper.
P.s im on schoolies so if you can't read this im drunk

Even if construction doesnt start till march i hope the supports get delivered well before then to atleast keep everyone excited.

March, Really? What more needs to be done in the next 5 months? Please explain @Jamberoo Fan
My bet is late December early January

anyone know how or where rcdb get their information from, because im smelling bullshit?

I disagree - I think the MRT video, audio and the 'next train' slides in between are a nice touch to the theme.
I agree it adds a great touch to the ride, but when you're in the line for over an hour it does get quite annoying haha
-
Dont forget these bad boys that annoy the crap out of everyone.

knowing WBMW they will get three trains, but only use all three on like two days a year.LOL

I know this is probably not true, but the gc bulliten said it was 21 metres taller than superman is.
Well superman is 40 metres which is 131 feet, add another 21 metres would make it 61 metres 200 feet which is the height of a hyper.
Anywhere from 210-230 foot is my guess
Sorry @Intimidator305. but why would you add it 300 + feet when we know it's a hyper? ?

B&M flyer like the one at Seaworld Orlando would be a nice addition.

SW needs a decent Capital Injection with a focus on rides, rides and more rides.
Today with really only 2 that could be considered thrilling family rides I would love to see the addition of the following:
- A Creatures of the Deep interactive Dark ride attraction that would take the place of the Castle Theatre area.
- A fun flat ride over the existing Flume queue and boarding area. Something along the Thrill level of the Pirate Ship.
- A big dipper style rollercoaster made to look like an old sea side woody but a Steel Coaster, like California Screamin at DCA. Obvious location beside Jets Rescue.
- A great big Ferris Wheel, like the DCA Fun wheel. Now that I am sure building height restrictions have changed, they should investigate pursuing such an attraction permanently. The views are unsurpassed. Place along a Boardwalk area beside the new coaster.
Complete rebuild of the Front gate.
It's time to seriously reinvigorate SW. The Park is long overdue for a big spend
A giga ?

Ever since Seaworld removed the Pirate ship they haven't been the same. ??

^ I drove past this afternoon and whilst that last turn in the bottom left corner of your diagram seems fairly accurate, there's also what looks to be a pretty substantial footing right in the middle of it. It looks almost like there may be some kind of vertical loop element there.
Yeah my drawing is really just to get an estimate of length. That support could be for a helix maybe or just extra supports.

it depends on what 'length' you're talking about.
RCDB measures length being the physical track length, and duration being the ride time. I'm not sure what measurement you're suggesting, but It doesn't sound right.
Yep now i get it
This is by no means accurate at all, but i drew a rough sketch of what the coaster could be like to get a sense of the length of the ride(please dont bag my design Lol). The sketch that i drew is about 1050 metres in length from a birds eye view, so none of the hills and drops are include. But i think if those were included the track length would be anywhere from 1300-1600 metres depending on the height of different elements (eg. Loops, drops, ect.).
-
hahahaha no comment @Santa07
Also is the total length of a ride determined by its actual ride length or its birds eye view length?

This is very in-depth and interesting. You pictures are great. It really gives a sense of scale when you look at tiny Green Lantern over shadowed below. This ride will change the view of the landscape massively.
I agree! This thing would absolutely dwarf green lantren.

I thought the station was going to be located parallel with the road. I guess not then?

@Ryande16the same bolts are on the storm coaster.
Exactly! providing more evidence that it is a Mack ride

Exactly, that's my point!!!

Well you tuber thrill central has done a video on movieworld getting a hyper. He's alleging that the gcb article about it is proof of what's happening. I personally think he just ran out of video ideas but anyway you should go check it out. And as we know, although HIGHLY unlikely, the mack crates have not been confirmed as for the new coaster. And that is pretty much the only other provided source to back his information. (Other than gcb)
Doesn't take a genius to figure out that the ground supports and bolts used are identical to flash at lewa adventure.

Quick question, how many of those steel reinforcement /support frames are left at the back in the car park ?

The track will arrive within the next week.
This might be a stupid question but is all the foundation work done??
