  1. Interesting, I didn't notice that. Haven't done a maze before, but it seemed a bit too small to me. In any case, I doubt the original building'll be for that purpose too, as that'd be too far away from any existing guest pathway, or am I wrong?
  2. Sorry to go off-track, but you've just reminded me that I also saw an under construction building last time I went to the park. Don't have any pictures of it sadly, though I tried, as I assumed it was only viewable from DCR's raised brakerun (where I saw it). Don't know if it's the same building or not, but it was pretty close to the turn into station. As for what it could be, if WoO takes up enough space to warrant their removal (which, from what I can tell, it does) maybe it's a replacement for this building? If not that, then I don't have a clue.
  3. Yeah, there was that, but I'm thinking more about how in April they specifically got a permit for a 'Legoland Renovation' (or something to that effect). No matter if that pans out or not, though, ABC Kids World really needs it. And this'll hopefully push them to do it sooner and better.
  4. Wasn't there talk about a Legoland retheme to ABC Kids in like April? I think Dreamworks is pretty fine as it stands, but ABC Kids desperately needs a redo, especially after the poor attempt to retheme it to the new Wiggles, and the removal of it's star attraction.
  5. That's great then, I'll be interested to see what they do with the area, cause that was the only part I felt was lacking. So it'd have to be somewhat common of an issue, at least enough for them to retroactively add a warning. I wonder if the PA is their permanent solution, or if it's so common that they'll look into other ways as well.
  6. Assuming that money invested into theming is a valid scale for the quality of theming, then (even including the price for new food, drink, retail, and other buildings) from what I can tell that's around double what the previous best-themed section in AUS (Dreamworks Experience) cost, in a plot of land that's smaller than it is. Which is to say, that's somewhat promising.
  7. I think the main area that needs a touch up is right as you leave, between Steel Taipan and Motocoaster. Even if they just add some planters or something there to distract from it just being gravel and dirt'd spice both the train and the walkway to Giant Drop up considerably, plus the perfect time to do so would be now while GD's being renovated and it's the 'off-season', so hopefully they end up doing something there too. Far as the announcement goes, unless if someone hit their head when you went on it, then it must be the case that it's a prevalent enough issue to warrant them retroactively adding it over the PA system (though it seems that's a touchy subject so I won't say more).
  8. Could they not say the same thing, or even possibly show the same thing by actually attaching images of their 'finishing touches' (e.g. the station, or that blue shade structure in the queue), without doing so under a month from the date they've made everyone believe, and perhaps even have people planning their holidays around?
  9. COVID must really have it out for New Atlantis, causing 6+ individual delays for it. Jokes aside, I wonder when they'll make that news public, cause if they don't do so soon then they'll just be getting even more dissatisfied passholders.
  10. Yes, because you can never be looking down/ahead at where you're actually going instead of above, or talking to people you're with while boarding. If it's common enough that multiple people in this niche section of the internet have dealt with it, and they've retroactively attempted to add a warning over the speakers, it's an issue that no amount of snide 'look where you're going' comments'll fix.
  11. I'm glad someone else had this, as I went just as the holidays were ending and repeatedly bashed my head into the roof when getting on every single time without fail, and there was no safety message to warn people. Felt like an idiot.
  12. World's tallest, fastest, longest, shortest, slowest, scariest, craziest, most fun multi-type THE WIZARD OF OZ™ themed rollercoaster located at or near the coordinates -27.908126130624147, 153.311896584627 with a 'launch' up to 67km/h, a 105cm height restriction, and an average capacity of 720 riders per hour.
  13. One of the dolphins told me that they've formed a coalition to strategically to dig out sections of the ground underneath Vortex as it's constant squeaking has been irritating them.
  14. And then increased to $15 dollars while the seat's been roped off and inoperable for a year
  15. At least in the case of the Family Boomerang it's almost definitely the artist's choice. Noticed it facing the wrong way yesterday, and if it were to be a backwards train then the yellow side back row'd be fairly close to the station, or they'd have to be dispatching yellow considerably earlier than orange. As far as the SFC goes, I'd be willing to bet it's the same situation there, seeing as it's also got less rows than it 'should', and if they've done it once they'll do it again. Sidenote, the SFC's trains depicted are seemingly more akin to an STC (though I may be pulling differences out of nothing, at the very least the wheel assemblies and covers between each car appear the same as those on HuK, but not the same as the SFC's), and the Boomerangs trains don't seem to have any notable real-world counterpart, at least not from Vekoma (from a bit of googling, at least), but they're very close to this 3d model: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/vehicle/train/3d-roller-coaster-cart
  16. I'd say it's moreso just to allow a gap for the safety fence
  17. Though that would be really cool, I feel like there's too many issues with Rivals being retrofitted to go over multiple pathways for me to realistically type out here.
  18. I believe they meant to say treatment, in which instead of demolishing the ride once it reaches the end of it's service life, they just repurchase the exact same coaster in the same spot with the same/slightly updated theming.
  19. If the effort into theming with this WoO section goes well, the first thing I'd love to see is a revamp of the section towards Rivals, as that's (in my opinion) the most neglected section theme-wise. Maybe revamp JL, or just replace it with something better and unique.
  20. So you're telling me that the media was misunderstanding coasters? I'm sorry, but I simply refuse to believe that.
