I know very little about rollercoasters but I would love to ride a fly coaster, would be great if dreamworld did get one of those but arent they expensive? Not keen on the ferris wheel idea, specially since you can go to the show or luna park and ride one. I wouldnt mind seeing some sort of coaster that they have in the us, something that takes your breath away when you first look at, something that doesnt take 3 seconds to ride and isnt one of those launch thing's that go straight up and back down again over the other side..like that dragster at Ceder Point, has to have a few loops, twists, weightless feeling...you know what I mean?

I use to love going to luna park when I was a kid, definately felt like I was in another world, go across the road to maccas, have lunch and than back over to luna park and ride the dragon ride 3 or 4 times. I think they have become more about money than entertaining their guests now.

Views? you can [or could] get a fab view on the scenic railway, the ferris wheel or even the metropolis. The rainbow is a good ride and I'm not saying it's not, just there are heaps more rides that are 10x better than the rainbow. It's a carni ride, not a luna park ride in my opinion.

Yeah I know, I was just saying there isnt much to look at per say.

If they do put a thrill ride there I hope it's definately not the rainbow, heaps better rides to put there than the rainbow!

The pictures or the vid wouldnt be much, just some machines digging in the ground, unless they have done more in a week.

It was chockers, I think there was more than 2,000 people there..dont they get more than 2,000 people in a day let alone 3 hours or whatever? We only managed to do one ride and that was the Claw, that took us 7 rides, which is teh longest we have ever waited for any ride at dw. We went to go on the cyclone but the line was down to the bottom level so we headed over to the tot which was almost out the door and it had broken down and the drop wasnt much better so we just ended up leaving after 8. What was with them getting us to line up at 5pm? we were sitting down under the screenthing [the one that tells you what is closed and stuff] and they got us to move to stand in line, if we wanted to stand in line for and hour and a bit we would have done that instead of sitting down, resting. Getting home was a dif story, we were at dreamworld all of sat til we left screamworld so we asked if surfside was running any buses but they werent and they did last month [or so they told us] but apprantly they dont have to, which is fair enough I guess..so we ended up getting a taxi to coomera [which cost us $8 :eek:]. Never been more glad to get home from a theme park than I was that night.

Aint nothing wrong with the trains..except they are noisy and dont have enough seating during peak time.

Personally dont know much about it Paul, I dont use it but my friend said it's great if you need to tag 20+ pics..does it in minutes.

Have you tried a program that automatically watermarks them Richard? My friend uses thumbsplus to watermark hundreds of pics and it does them all in minutes. You could also just tell people to watermark the pic themselves before sending them in if they are that worried about it..

I use to love the splash canyon ride at the melb show back in 97/98 than they got rid of it. The claw was great! we went on that before we went on the one at dreamworld so it was something new and the crazy mouse was great..something new again. Least favourite would be ghost trains, I utterly hate them.

You have a habbit of doing that as well as leaving it in the locker

Because bb it's lame, it was ok the first few series cos it was new but now its just the same over and over and over again. At least the rugrats have a new adventure every episode!

What is one man's trash is another mans treasure. You and andrew might think it's pointless but it works out to be cheaper getting the pass than buying tickets all the time.

How can they not be interested? it's dreamworld! I noticed in the vidoes the claw is fast and than its normal and the cyclone is slow and than it's normal. Do they use the videos for the claw in their ads?
