  1. Haha, let's all put money in for them. We could then have a roller-coaster.com.au "clubhouse" with a backyard coaster or two, just like that guy who made 'Blue Flash'. If only........
  2. OBVIOUSLY. But that's what it was called in my dream.
  3. Oh I see. I should have paid $2 more to have less? I like RCT scenarios, this way I get more of them.
  4. I'm working on a few things myself. As noted in my RCT series ownership thread, I now have RCT2 too.
  5. Yesterday I bought RCT2 with both expansions for just under $18 at JB Hi-Fi. Glad I went there and didn't just go for the EBGames $19.95 version which just contained the bare game at $2 more.
  6. We should all relocate to the USA, then we can enjoy those theme parks and leave DW/MW/etc to the kind of nostalgia you assign to an old beatup teddy when you get your first car
  7. No what I'm saying is, that's the only way you can buy RCT2. So it's pretty good value all-up... the expansions have scenarios anyway don't they?
  8. What's this? Something's wrong with my hand. Oh no. It's... THE CLAW! Nothing can stop ... The... Cla... Erm. Sorry. Bad habit of mine. Particularly when I'm on the ride with a friend and it's starting. I've seen RCT2 for sale at EB Games for $30: the original game and both expansions. I think next time I'm there I'll buy it, would be nice to play... I had RCT but never got the second game as it looked practically the same... what were the differences? I had both 3D Theme Park games and quite liked them. And it was good they had carnival games. To run Theme Park, try Googling for a program called 'DosBox'.
  9. Don't I wish this was true ... The other night I dreamt I got back to Australia from overseas and was headed to Dreamworld when I discovered a Six Flags Magic Mountain had also opened up in Coomera. "Stuff Dreamworld!" I said. Unfortunately I had to wake up eventually.
  10. Anyone got the 2000-2002 maps so we can see? ...
  11. I will be at Dreamworld on Thursday so can get a pic up that evening if you haven't managed to do so already.
  12. Looks awesome. Can't wait to hit Magic Mountain next year
  13. Of course it doesn't offer much in the way of intriguing discussion, but it's useful to know what people have - and if anyone has anything to discuss or ask regarding these programs, they can do it here too... So do you use RCT/RCT2 much despite having 3? Which version do you prefer?
  14. Wild! is only $40 or something now and EBGames has it as a 2 for $50 item so you could maybe instead get that and a piece of basic hardware/other game or something for only another $10... but yeah, it's a cool expansion pack - does have a heap of new rides, it's not just all-animal content. and the custom billboards rock, you can assign any JPEG GIF etc to them and they're various sizes eg 5x1 , etc
  15. Hello?? :taps mic: Is this thing on?
  16. Okay, we're rolling! I've just bought a hosting account which grants us 75GB Web Space, 600GB Monthly Data Transfer , Unlimited Email Accounts etc etc - which is for real... I have had sites with them for over five years now and they recently tripled the webspace from 25GB. So we will definitely be right for space for all our downloads! As part of the package, we get a free domain name with it which I've nominated as www.zencoaster.com (and it was available). Help most certainly welcome. Note to Richard etc, this is NOT competition for r-c.com.au, it's a site for RCT3/Soaked!/Wild! tutorials, news and downloads such as custom scenery, user parks, track designs and the like. EDIT (Wednesday Morning):Our account became active last night so it's all ready to go!
  17. I had an interview at Space Walker earlier in the year and one of the "upper" representatives of the company said that they had plans to do a sci-fi style nightclub in the next few years ... which could be pretty cool. "YOU WANNA BUY SOME DEATHSTICKS?!?!"
  18. I was going to possibly have it adopt the name 'Zencoaster' which is my nickname on the RCT3 forums. Rolls off the tongue and sums up the whole concept of that feeling of 'nirvana' you get on a good theme park/ride.
  19. How about straight away? PM me your MSN/whatever details.
  20. Taken from today's Gold Coast Bulletin. It was beside a piece about "hoons on the roads" - nothing was said in the actual article about the ride/their view of it. Dick (on the right) seems a bit shaken. CAPTION: Race aces Steve and Dick Johnson take life in the fast lane - safely -on the Superman ride at Movie World.
  21. Oh Daniel... *sigh* I said to you yesterday that I'd known that awhile ago. All those bangs to the head really didn't do your memory much good hey. I'm calling you 'Dory'
  22. Definitely Bluewater Bay ... that rolls off the tongue so easily and, as other people have said, gives it a feeling of being a place. To me, the Rush one sounds like a drink
