Favourite Ride

  1. I know they have been doing this for a while now, but most of the coasters that they have shared aren't the biggest and best out there. Does anyone think they are doing this as a kind of market research to see what type of coaster grabs the public's attention? Could possibly become the next big thing on the Gold Coast. Warner Bros. 2. I was going to go back to Movie World (I've been going ever since I was a young child) on 10/7/12, but went the day before instead. It was the most packed I have ever seen it. I left after 30 minutes as every ride had a 90 minute queue time. The entire car park was full and people were parking on the grass. I would like to know how full the park was on the original day I had planed. If you went on the 10/7/12 would you please tell me how it was? Cheers
  3. Hey guys, I had a look but I couldn't find anything, so hopefully someone can help me. What's involved in working at Movie World? More specifically, as one of the face characters that walk around the park? I really wanted to work at Disney as a face character, but it's a very hard thing to aim for when living in Australia. Then I remembered that Movie World has characters as well, and my hope was restored! It's still a long shot, but still a little easier than flying halfway across the world for nothing. It would be great if someone knew whats required from the characters? Do they need to be trained actors? and is there a long audition process like Disney? If anyone gets back to me, that would be awesome!
  4. I'm new to the fourms, just been reading about this so called 'New Direction' that theme parks in Australia are taking that don't involve the 'dark rides' that Bermuda Triangle and Looney Tunes once were, it's funny that apparently it's not what people want anymore as I think it's exactly what they want, whilst being up in the Gold Coast recently seeing the current state of the Bermuda Triangle now asking one of the Staff at Sea World what will happen to the Bermuda Triangle, he said nothing has been planned for the next 6 months as far as he knew, I then asked him what the ride looked like from the inside and he said Staff weren't allowed inside but all the theming etc... has been removed and none of the staff had been inside the building since April this year, he also said there has been alot of Sea World visitors asking him the same question and he thinks that we're unlikely to see anything happen there within the next year. I'm going to try and go to Movie World before the year is out to find out about Looney Tunes River Ride but it seems that Village Roadshow don't believe there is any future with those types of attractions. If anyone has any question's you'd like me to ask the Movie World staff, feel free to ask
